This is the first time I've tried this snack. I received it as a souvenir. It's called "Tannokuni Potato" and I think it uses local sweet potatoes. It tastes just like mashed sweet potatoes, with a good amount of sweetness but doesn't leave a lingering aftertaste. It's a soft snack with a good melt-in-your-mouth texture that goes well with strong green tea. It's a delicious snack that I think would be appreciated as a gift.

I look forward to seasonal Japanese sweets. They are also well received as gifts for guests at home.
