ごごみちゃん
This day, I received a sudden message that my daughter was coming home. We decided to go to a restaurant that I had been curious about, which was conveniently located near the station. The station, called Kintetsu Jujo, is not a place I usually get off at, even though I often pass by it by car. It is the second station from Kintetsu Kyoto Station towards Nara, but the express train doesn't stop there, so there is only one train every 15 minutes. It's interesting how the Shinkansen bound for Tokyo comes every 7 minutes. Anyway, once we got out of Jujo Station's ticket gate and crossed the street, we arrived at the restaurant in just 30 seconds. I ordered a beer, while my daughter had a lemon sour. The dishes we ordered included tuna sashimi, grilled squid, Japanese-style omelette with plenty of green onions, braised pork belly with spicy mayo and cheese, saffron miso grilled black cod, salt-grilled chicken, and a crystal plate grilled with domestic beef and vegetables. Despite the miso being not my favorite, I really enjoyed the black cod grilled in saffron miso. The chicken was also deliciously grilled. The crystal plate was initially white, but when it arrived, it was black from the grilling process. Overall, the restaurant had a variety of Japanese and Western dishes, as well as meat and fish options, making it suitable for people with diverse tastes.
