This is an extremely stylish yakitori restaurant. The interior design with white tables and sofas, black walls, plates, chopsticks, etc., is very fashionable. Unlike the main branch nearby, this location offers not only counter seats but also private rooms for customers to use for meetings or business discussions. The attention to detail is impressive. The restaurant even provides mouthwash, dental floss, skincare products, men's hair gel, and body wipes in the restroom, setting it apart from other establishments.
On this particular day, the meal included the Rumiya course (4400 yen) and a la carte dishes. Here is the breakdown of the course:
- Three appetizers (grilled chicken thigh, tempura mushrooms, chicken liver pate with baguette)
- Liver skewers with a unique and delicious flavor
- Chicken tenderloin with wasabi and salt
- Daki-mi, an original dish with chicken breast and leeks wrapped in chicken skin
- Quail eggs cooked to perfection
- Grilled chicken thigh, juicy and flavorful
- Salt-grilled lotus root, a surprisingly delicious dish
- Seseri, a favorite part of the chicken skewer
- Gizzard with a peppery flavor
- Tsukune, a delicious minced chicken skewer
- Black shimeji mushrooms, a fragrant and flavorful dish
- Chicken mince cutlet, juicy and flavorful
- Chicken wings, easy to eat and perfectly grilled
Additionally, we tried some a la carte dishes:
- Chochin, a tasty dish with meat and egg yolk
- Tamago kake gohan, a delicious rice dish with egg yolk
- Chicken broth ramen, with a rich and flavorful soup
- Salted red bean ice cream monaka, a light and tasty dessert
Overall, every dish was delicious, and the restaurant's interior design, service, and overall experience were exceptional. I visited with friends for drinks, but I would also consider using this restaurant for business purposes.
