It was around the end of the year, so I got the Stollen flavor and the classic chocolate flavor. The classic ones had a "can be frozen" mark on them. It's definitely nice to be able to freeze them. I like to buy extra and freeze them so I can have waffles in the morning. When eating at home, I just reheat them in the toaster. Of course, I wrap them in aluminum foil to prevent them from burning. It's the best when the sweet smell fills the air like when passing by the shop. The Stollen flavor had a gentle sweetness with powdered sugar on top. It tasted like a cinnamon waffle. I secretly like the crunchy texture when biting into Manneken's waffles.笑

I visited in December 2020. The location is inside Kyoto Station. I purchased the seasonal Chocolate Marble Waffle for 170 yen, Sweet Potato Butter Waffle for 160 yen, and Tiramisu Cream Waffle for 200 yen. All prices are excluding tax. They were all delicious, but the Chocolate Marble Waffle was especially tasty. I highly recommend it.

The waffles here are unique, I think you can only find them in Ichinomiya City, not in Nagoya. I really like the taste here, I could eat as many as I want because they are not too heavy. The Peach and Strawberry Waffle had a gentle sweetness with the refreshing taste of strawberry bits. The Chestnut Waffle had chopped chestnuts in the batter, which was quite interesting. Overall, the waffles from this shop were delicious, but the Peach and Strawberry Waffle stood out as one of the best in my opinion.

The station is bustling with commuters and tourists during the rush hour on weekdays. The limited edition items for July were black chocolate chip cookies with a perfect balance of white milk cream.
