I bought a strawberry daifuku at a supermarket event and it was delicious, so I decided to visit the shop the next day. The shop had a slightly dim atmosphere, but inside, there were sculptures made of sweets displayed. They also had various awards and certificates on the wall. Apart from long-lasting sweets, they sold daifuku, dango, and nerikiri among other things. I purchased nerikiri, castella, dango, and kusa daifuku. The strawberry daifuku was only available at events and not in the store. The anko here is delicious. The mochi in the kusa daifuku was also tasty, with a strong grassy flavor. The mochi had a perfect balance of softness and elasticity. The nerikiri was quite delicious as well, with a good balance of the outer layer and the inner filling. The castella was fluffy and moist. Overall, I enjoyed the traditional Japanese sweets at this shop. However, the dango was not to my liking. It was too soft and didn't have the typical dango texture.
