After finishing a delivery nearby, I decided to have lunch at this small restaurant located along a waterway in a residential area. The interior was quite small with only table seating, and I was guided to a seat by the motherly owner. I ordered the "Pork Soup Set" from the menu on the wall, which I believe cost around 450 yen. As I absentmindedly watched TV, the dish arrived. The pork soup set consisted of familiar ingredients in a miso soup with pork added later, served with rice and pickles. The affordable pricing was nice, but left me feeling a bit conflicted.
