司屋
Tenth business trip to Maizuru! On the way from the hotel to the site, I came across this place. For some reason, I misread it as "Handmade Udon Izakaya Bongo" and was impressed that there are interesting shops in Maizuru haha. Doesn't "Izakaya" sound similar to "Izakaya"? My colleague jokingly invited me to "let's go to the Udon Izakaya?" so let's go check it out!! I took a picture of the huge flashy sign and finally realized, "Huh? Izkaya?" At last, I noticed it was a ramen eatery haha. Around 6 pm, I entered the place saying "Hello~!" There were already customers inside. The interior of the restaurant had a family restaurant feel. The waitress led us to a table, and we looked at the menu. I ordered a draft beer first. (Normally, they would tell you, but there was a set with 2 pieces of fried chicken for 580 yen.) The draft beer arrived quickly, so I said, "Cheers to Maizuru's night!" Even though I had been drinking at the hotel, it was still delicious! When I had drunk half of it, I noticed the fried chicken set haha. My colleague ordered the Navy Curry set! Wow! I thought I wouldn't eat curry rice here haha. I still wanted to drink, so I ordered the Maizuru Oden 10-item set! Oh, and also the draft beer fried chicken set! The draft beer and fried chicken arrived first, and the fried chicken was piping hot! Next, the Maizuru Oden arrived! Oh, the plate is huge!! Cabbage rolls, konjac, daikon radish, beef tendon, tempura, fish cake, tofu, egg, string konjac, and one more item I forgot (>_<) First, I tried the broth. It is said that the rule of Maizuru Oden is to dip it in "dried small fish." The broth here was consistently delicious. The cabbage rolls were delicious with the flavor soaked in. The tempura and fish cake still seemed not to be simmered enough haha. My colleague ate the curry rice and udon and said, "I'm full already!" He didn't want any more (^^;) So, I ended up eating almost the entire 10-item Oden set by myself (/・ω・)/ I was quite full and left without eating the udon at the "udon restaurant"... What a shame (>_<) And once again, I return to the hotel without eating a finishing ramen for the day...
