It had been a while since my last visit, but it seemed like the staff was understaffed as I had to wait for everything - entering, ordering, and paying. Yesterday, I had eaten a lot of fried chicken, so today I tried the "toriten" (chicken tempura), but the batter was soggy and not to my liking. It had a pre-seasoned taste and did not seem delicious. I have been there a few times, but I don't think I will be going back again!

I have visited this place many times, but probably this day was cold. I ordered Ginja's motsunabe for the first time. The taste was great for this price, I'm satisfied. The Ginja yaki was delicious, and the chicken cartilage karaage was also good. I usually don't enjoy yakitori at other places because of the strong taste, but here it was tasty without any unpleasant smell. Of course, on this day, I also ordered kamameshi, cabbage, and more, but I only took a picture of this. It's nice to warm up with hot pot on a cold day. Thank you for the meal.

Originally, I was planning to go to a certain chain restaurant for yakitori, but on the day I decided to go to this place instead because I could make a reservation online and I had never been there before. Everything was priced at 300 yen, including drinks and food, which was very affordable. The menu was similar to the chain restaurant's, but I found this place to be quite good. I was impressed by the convenience of being able to order with my smartphone by scanning a QR code. They also had free WiFi, which made me happy. The tables were all on the small side, so be careful not to order too much at once. As it is an izakaya, the atmosphere is not particularly quiet, but I didn't find it too noisy. The dishes varied in size, with some being quite substantial, and overall they were delicious. The chicken and leek skewers and the chicken nanban were particularly generous, and I appreciated that you could get free refills of cabbage. The drinks were also very reasonably priced, so I definitely want to go back again.

There is no lunch break, so it's convenient to go straight through ⤴. There are various new menu items since the price went up and the All 300 yen (tax included 330 yen) menu disappeared. The rice dish is really delicious! I haven't tried the grilled pork bones, but the fried pork bones are tasty! The service is quite fast when you order, which is appreciated. I occasionally visit this place. I like chicken, but I also enjoy their Korean pancakes and rice dishes. I love the cartilage and curry udon. It seems like I'll be coming back again. A spoiler alert, my favorite Korean pancake and cartilage are no longer available after this visit. Also, they have increased their prices. It's quite a shock. I'm glad I could come before they ran out. Thank you for the meal.

This time, I tried the curry udon for the first time, and it was surprisingly spicy and tasty. The yakitori dishes were also delicious without any unpleasant smell. Thank you for the meal!

This is a shop I've been curious about for a while. It's a small shop with lots of partitions that I often see. I ordered the Demi Katsu lunch for 650 yen. It's a big katsu, but since it's a chicken shop, it's chicken katsu. The portion of demi sauce was sufficient, but there were no condiments on the table. Also, there were no napkins. The side dish of heart was average in taste. The miso soup had no green onions, but the rice was not bad. The bill was reasonable, almost too reasonable, which made me uncomfortable.

Last time, I felt that the chicken rice was not worth the cost. This time, I tried a yakitori bento with 2 skewers for 540 yen, which seemed a bit pricey. I wasn't expecting much, but surprisingly, the chicken sauce was delicious. I can't say for sure if the chicken itself was tasty, but it was definitely better than supermarket yakitori. While many bento options this season offer good value for money, this one was a bit lacking in terms of price.

Summer vacation day 2. Second stop. Strolling around Ote-suji for lunch and dinner. Tried to go to Ootora, but it wasn't open. Thought it was open every day. Found a restaurant distributing flyers. It's like Torikizoku, but with a 10% discount, decided to give it a try on the second floor of the building. Ordered the famous chicken sukiyaki hot pot, some yakitori, and added the all-you-can-drink option. Tried a "Biwako Sour" for the first time. It's a blue sour drink, inspired by the blue of Lake Biwa. Tasted very sweet, like the blue Chupa Chups sour candy. Not sure if they really have this in Shiga. The chicken sukiyaki hot pot was disappointing with few ingredients and overly sweet sauce. Next was the "Ginji Yaki," a 21cm giant yakitori with salt. It was not as impressive as expected, just average. Ordered a few more items, all grilled too dry and tough. Finally decided to leave after realizing it's not worth it. The bill was over 6000 yen, even with the all-you-can-drink option. Respect to the courage of the area's famous yakitori shops. So many interesting things, but...

We wandered around a major shopping street looking for a second place to visit. We found this shop near the station, which was apparently opened last year. The sign "All items for 288 yen each" caught our attention, so we decided to go in. We visited on a holiday around 9:30 pm with a group of four. The place was quite lively due to the holiday night. We managed to get a table and were seated. It's a yakitori izakaya offering "All items for 288 yen each," a phrase I've heard somewhere before. There's another shop nearby that charges 298 yen, so this one is 10 yen cheaper! It's clear they are trying to compete with their neighbor. We ordered a bunch of yakitori dishes without overthinking it. Even though it was our second stop, we ended up ordering a lot of food. A knowledgeable companion suggested trying the tsukune to judge the quality of the shop, so we ordered it with both sauce and salt. I personally enjoyed the heart meat the most for its great texture. The negi pon tasted like it was taken straight out of the fridge. The unlimited cabbage refills for 288 yen is a great deal. The drinks we had included Extra Cold beer, Clear Asahi beer (large), Black Nikka Highball, Super Dry beer (medium), Lemon Sour with whole lemon, Hyuganatsu citrus fruit Sour, and Plain High Sour. Even though we had quite a bit to drink at the first place, we still managed to enjoy more here. The orders came out quickly, making the experience stress-free. It's a great spot for foodies near the station. I might visit again to try their chicken dishes other than yakitori, like the karaage. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Yakitori Ginji for the first time with my junior colleague. The restaurant had just opened recently and the atmosphere was lively. In addition to delicious yakitori, they also offer various other dishes, including hot pot! And the best part is, the prices are the same. The quality may not be as high as a specialized hot pot restaurant, but being able to enjoy hot pot at this price is fantastic, especially as the weather gets colder. They seem to have an Instagram account too, so I couldn't help but look for it. I will definitely visit again!

I stopped by Yakitori Ginji in Fushimi Momoyama on October 31, 2019. The tables were set up as simple private rooms with partitions. The menu had a wide variety of options, including all-you-can-eat and drink menus for gatherings. I ordered the Chicken Hot Pot with Silver Soup, which was light and delicious with a flavorful broth and vegetables like cabbage, bean sprouts, leeks, and chives. I also tried the Yakitori with liver, gizzard, skin, and meat, all seasoned with salt. The tempura of fresh squid was a perfect accompaniment to alcohol. The portions were generous and satisfying. It was a delightful meal.
