A favorite yakiniku restaurant that I would love to visit regularly if it were closer to home. However, it is quite far from my house... in Kyoto, Kyoto Tanabe. I had a busy schedule with a long distance drive the day before (Kanagawa to Kyoto) and helping with a move. So, I decided to boost my energy by eating yakiniku at this restaurant that I had researched and made a reservation for in advance. Lately, I haven't come across a yakiniku restaurant that I want to revisit... There are many famous yakiniku restaurants near my company in Tokyo, and they are all stylish and serve delicious meat, but they are also quite expensive. The atmosphere is somewhat uncomfortable. Besides, I don't feel like eating yakiniku in a suit after work... There are also restaurants near my home that my family likes, but they don't quite appeal to me... However, this yakiniku restaurant was a hit for me after a long time. The items we ordered are shown in the photos. We ate to our hearts' content with three people, and I drank (only me)... the total bill was 17,500 yen. (When we visited at 7 pm, the restaurant was full. Groups and families who did not make a reservation were politely turned away because it was full... It seems that reservations are essential on weekends.) Impressions... ✔︎ The quality of the meat is good and delicious! And it's cheap! ✔︎ The raw intestine, minopon, and simmered tendon are exquisite. ✔︎ The draft beer (large) is served in a huge mug (a mega mug maybe?). ✔︎ The famous curry is also quite delicious. ✔︎ The salad vegetables are voluminous and tasty. ✔︎ The restaurant has a lively atmosphere with a wide range of customers, from young and old, families, colleagues, couples, to university students... It seems to be popular among a wide range of regular customers, and the atmosphere is great. (It is not noisy, but it is filled with a moderate liveliness, making it relaxing!) ✔︎ Polite service from young and energetic staff. ✔︎ The owner, with a bulky and friendly physique, used to be a rugby player and smells similar to me. (laughs) An ideal yakiniku restaurant with great food and atmosphere. I definitely want to revisit when I visit my son in his new place! Thank you for the meal. ※There are no steps at the entrance, inside the restaurant, or inside, so it is okay to enter with a baby stroller or wheelchair.
