わんわんきんた
This is a shop that I often use. They offer deli dishes made with a focus on ingredients such as vegetables and rice. Even when I don't feel like cooking at home, I end up here instead of relying on convenience stores or eating out because of the reassurance of having healthy food. The location is on the west side of the intersection of Higashioji Street and Kitaoji Street, across from Takano Junior High School. This time, my parents bought it for me, so I can't comment on the shop's impression or customer service... This place is a self-service style where you pick up deli dishes and take them to the register. The price is per gram. They offer a variety of dishes such as home-style simmered dishes and fried foods. They also have bento boxes, and if you pack it yourself and take it to the register, they will add rice for you. (However, it seems that fried foods cannot be packed in bento boxes, so please be careful.) This time, I had five different dishes bought for me. Hijiki simmered dish: 140 yen/100g The hijiki here is thick and plump, cooked well and delicious. It includes ingredients such as carrots, shiitake mushrooms, konjac, silk pods, lotus root, and fried tofu. The crunchy texture of the lotus root adds an accent to the texture. The taste is a sweet, light soy sauce flavor. Those who prefer strong flavors may find it a bit lacking, but I like it. Chikuzen stew: 190 yen/100g Chicken thigh meat, silk pods, daikon radish, konjac, taro, burdock, lotus root. The chicken thigh meat is plump and doesn't have a dry feeling at all. The daikon radish is a bit firm? But the taro has just the right firmness, and the fluffy texture is very delicious. Again, the lotus root adds a crunchy accent. The taste is quite light and slightly sweet, with a subtle flavor. Glass noodle salad: 140 yen/100g Glass noodles, cucumber, carrots, wood ear mushrooms, wakame seaweed, and even rare tomatoes. Sesame seeds on top. The glass noodles are lively and energetic. They have a bouncy texture. Enjoy the crunchy texture of the wood ear mushrooms and the crispness of the cucumber in this salad. The vinegar is not very noticeable, and the sweetness makes the mouthfeel soft. You won't feel the typical greasy feeling of a salad! Sweet and sour chicken: 210 yen/100g The juicy fried chicken thighs are coated in a sweet and sour sauce. The sweetness and vinegar are in a 50-50 ratio, a taste that appeals to everyone. The crunchy texture of the onions is delicious. Sesame seeds are sprinkled on top. Baron beef croquette: 63 yen/each I didn't eat it, but it seems that the coating is more "crisp" than "crunchy." It was delicious. 850 yen for two servings. Cheap! Taxi drivers also come here to buy, so it's a good value for everyday bento boxes. If you want to eat something that will make your body happy for the same price, I recommend it. A small bento shop that brings out the taste of the ingredients. I support them.
