タタタサンド

Good morning greeting upon entering. The classic interior with casual J-pop music playing creates a comfortable atmosphere. The seats are soft and there are plenty of them, making it easy for families to dine together. The morning menu features a soft ham sandwich with fresh lettuce, cucumber, ham, and mayo - a perfect combination! Don't forget to sprinkle some salt on the fried egg. The lack of windows facing the road allows for a peaceful break without distractions from outside.

It's right across the bridge in front of the Keihan/Fujimori Station East Exit. The name sounds like a snack bar, but the interior atmosphere is quite impressive. It has a solemn interior with elements of Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, and Renaissance architecture. The daily specials include a choice of meat or fish dishes, and on this particular day, the meat option was hamburger while the fish option was tuna, grated yam, and soft-boiled egg. I chose the meat option. The meal started with a salad followed by a small lump of butter on top of rice. The salad dressing was excellent, with a strong sesame flavor. The lump with cheese turned out to be a steamed onion, which was sweet and delicious. The rice came with simmered shiitake mushrooms and kelp. The miso soup was decent. The hamburger, made of beef, had a rich meaty flavor. The sauce was a tomato sauce with added sweetness, providing a nice balance of flavors. The meal ended with a drink and dessert. I chose apple juice and had yogurt with bananas and other fruits for dessert. The apple juice was a clear type, refreshing and light. Overall, I felt like I had a slightly luxurious lunch for 1000 yen. On my way out, I noticed other set meal options listed on the entrance signboard, including an omelette rice set that mentioned "Toshi from X Japan also ate here," which made me wonder if it was featured on TV.

I heard about this place and decided to visit. It's located on a street that leads directly to Nogaihashi Street, giving off a hidden gem vibe. It's not too crowded during lunchtime. They offer a daily salad menu, with a nicely presented thick fillet of fried horse mackerel that looks almost like a French dish. The miso soup is low-sodium. They also serve proper desserts and coffee. All for 1000 yen. It's a step up from your average lunch spot. I noticed that there were many middle-aged and elderly women dining alone.

I went to the cafe "Emo" near Fujimori Station. I ordered a bottled beer for 500 yen and it came with Pocky as a snack. I was happy with this kind of service. However, I think a slightly saltier snack would have been better. Still, it's much better than having nothing at all. The customer service was friendly and nice!
