On my first visit on September 9, 2023, I exited from Exit 1 of Suehirocho Station and headed towards Kuramae Bridge Street. After turning right on the third street, I eventually saw a shop on the left. I had curry for lunch in Awajicho that day, and then I came to this shop for dessert. Despite passing by Akihabara Station almost every day due to commuting, I had not been able to visit this shop. However, after it was selected as one of the top 100 dessert shops, I finally decided to visit. I arrived around 3:15 pm on a Saturday afternoon. There was a retro spiral staircase on the left side of the entrance, indicating that there were seats on the second floor as well. After waiting for about 3 minutes in the waiting area in front of the staircase, I was led to a large table for sharing. The table had 6 seats, and all the remaining seats on the first floor were taken. Despite the retro interior, the menu was accessed through a QR code, which was a first for me. For this visit, I decided to order the basic "Chocolate Banana Parfait." It took about 25 minutes for the parfait to arrive, so be prepared to wait. The parfait was topped with a tower of whipped cream supported by bananas, with a Kyoho grape on top. The grape was seedless, with edible skin, very sweet, and almost no acidity, making it a delicious fruit. The bananas, on the other hand, were unexpectedly firm and slightly underripe, providing a different texture and flavor. The creamy chocolate-covered whipped cream was delicious, not too sweet, and had a smooth texture. It was cleverly paired with flakes for added texture. Underneath the whipped cream were vanilla and chocolate ice cream, with sliced bananas and chocolate sauce. This chocolate banana parfait might be the best I've ever had. Although I thought it would be a light dessert, the generous amount of bananas made me quite full. I didn't regret my order, but I would love to come back and try other items on the menu once I've visited all the top 100 dessert shops.
