I started my summer vacation today and decided to visit Tokyo. I wanted to have a coffee at Kyoto Station, so I looked around the underground area, but all the cafes were full of foreign tourists looking for breakfast. In the end, I decided to have coffee at this cafe inside the Shinkansen station. I ordered an Ice Starbucks Latte (409 yen) and it did not disappoint. It was delicious and the small size was perfect for a quick break. I hope this trip will help me relax and unwind from my usual busy schedule.

There is a Starbucks inside JR Kyoto Station Shinkansen area. No parking available. Used it when boarding the Shinkansen bound for Tokyo. It was convenient that it was open at this time since I left early in the morning. However, this applies to all travelers, staring alternately at departure time and the line. Managed to make it just in time for departure. Purchased: - Drip coffee (Tall size) 319 yen excluding tax - Sugar Doughnut 237 yen excluding tax Bought the coffee and sugar doughnut set, with a free size upgrade for the drink. Ended up buying as intended by Starbucks. But didn't feel bad about it. The coffee had a stable deliciousness with strong bitterness and acidity. The sugar doughnut was moist and tasty. It was a good start to the trip.

To end the trip, I purchased a cold brew coffee before boarding the Shinkansen. Today, I chose the cold brew coffee again. The trip went by so quickly! I want to look back on the memories while drinking this coffee. Thank you for always providing delicious coffee!

The honey adds a nice touch of sweetness. The color is light green, and the overall taste is clean and refreshing. Starbucks Coffee has multiple locations in large stations, and Kyoto Station is no exception. This particular Starbucks at Kyoto Station is on the smaller side. Thank you for the meal.

I had accumulated stars on the Starbucks app, so I decided to treat myself to a drink before boarding the Shinkansen. With the stars, I could get a drink priced up to 756 yen for free. I chose a Starbucks Latte Venti for 496 yen plus tax, with an additional shot for 50 yen plus tax. Lately, this has been my go-to treat. I prefer a regular latte over something sweet. I sat at a counter seat by the window, watching the crowd in front of the ticket gates while I waited for my train.

They offer drip coffee, hot, tall sizes, and takeout options.

The Starbucks at the station is reassuring to enter because the taste is almost the same nationwide. There are various flavors depending on the season, which is also a fun part. This time, I was drawn to the purple color I saw at the entrance and got a takeout. It was sweet... but it was delicious because I was tired at the time.

I usually buy a latte to go with the popular cakes from Patisserie S in Kyoto that I had purchased before. However, this time I decided to go for a sugar-free drip coffee. I don't usually have drip coffee at Starbucks, but I was surprised by how hot it was! It took about 10 minutes to cool down to the right temperature, but it paired well with the sweet cake.

This shop is located inside the Shinkansen station. I went early in the morning so there was no line, but it takes time to order so it's recommended to go when you have extra time. I tried the Corona drink, which is only available in western Japan, but I couldn't taste any roasted chestnut at all. However, there were roasted chestnut pieces at the bottom of the drink, so I should have mixed it before drinking. It was delicious, but I wish they would recommend mixing it before drinking because of the sediment.

I ordered a hot café mist at One More Coffee on the Shinkansen, based on the receipt from this morning. It's not good to only have cold drinks, and a sweet, warm drink is comforting when you're tired.

It's located next to a souvenir shop inside the ticket gate. You can easily get on the escalator to the platform right after purchasing, so even if you have a lot of luggage, you can carry it with one hand and quickly board the Shinkansen. This time, I found a local Starbucks mug, so I got it without hesitation! The staff were also kind and nice. They smiled gently and helped me even though I was confused and flustered due to various thoughts in my head thinking it's a tourist spot.

Starbucks is currently offering a limited edition Strawberry Frappuccino Chocolate version, which is customized with chocolate chips and chocolate sauce. It is available only for a short period from May 20th to May 31st. While it is priced 50 yen higher than the regular version, the added cost for the chocolate chips balances it out. The combination of strawberry and chocolate is a classic and the taste is undeniably good. However, since it is a pre-existing customization, the flavor was somewhat predictable, which was a bit disappointing.

I was on a business trip to Kyoto and while waiting for the Shinkansen on my way back, I decided to stop by this restaurant. It was conveniently located right by the Shinkansen ticket gates. I ordered a hot coffee to pass the time. The line to order was moving quickly. I tried a new coffee they recommended, which had a nice acidity to it and was delicious. I enjoyed my coffee inside the restaurant before heading to the Shinkansen with it in hand. Since it was a chain restaurant, I would rate it as average.
