I visited during lunchtime and there were no customers waiting and plenty of empty seats, so I was seated immediately. Although I could have just ordered the harami (skirt steak), since it's a beef tongue restaurant I decided to go with the 'Thick-sliced beef tongue salt-grilled & beef harami grilled set meal'. I added the grated yam as it doesn't come with the set meal. Rice refills are free. The beef tongue wasn't as tender as I expected, but the harami was delicious so I was satisfied.

Fast, delicious, great location. The restaurant at AEON Kyoto Station had about 4 groups waiting in line. The beef tongue was around 1500 yen and came with plenty of vegetables and tasty sauce. The thick-cut steak was more expensive at around 2500 yen, but the thin-cut option was still reasonably priced.

I had been wanting to try a gyutan (beef tongue) specialty restaurant for a while, but as someone who loves white rice, I had trouble finding a place that offered unlimited rice refills. This was my first time at Sendai Gyutan Fukusuke Aeon Mall KYOTO store, and they offered all-you-can-eat white rice. Intrigued, I entered the restaurant and ordered the thick-sliced gyutan set with 8 pieces. After a few minutes of waiting, the set arrived, but it looked a bit plain and could use some more presentation. Presentation is quite important. I requested condiments separately, and they were provided. Eating the gyutan with spicy miso didn't quite match well. Despite being advertised as thick-cut, the gyutan was actually quite thin. The side dishes were lacking, and for some reason, I felt disappointed. However, the white rice was incredibly delicious. Eating plenty of this white rice made me feel happy. It's a really good restaurant, and I would like to visit again, but I would be even happier if they could put a little more effort into the presentation.

I visited Sendai Gyutan Fukusuke at AEON Mall KYOTO in December 2020. It is located on the 4th floor of the mall. It is a sit-down restaurant, not a food court. I ordered the sliced beef tongue and sirloin steak set meal, and it was delicious. You can get unlimited rice refills, and choose between large, regular, or small portions when getting a refill. You need to call the staff every time you want a refill, which can be a bit of a hassle. Payment can be made with cash, credit card, or QR code.

A must-visit restaurant in Sendai known for its specialty beef tongue! When you come to this place, you have to order the beef tongue! This restaurant focuses on quality, so those who prefer quantity over quality may not feel satisfied. The taste is delicious, and the beef tongue is very tender, easy to chew with your teeth! The texture is firm and perfect for beef tongue lovers! The soup that comes with it is healthy and tasty too! Located inside the Aeon Mall, it's a great place to visit after watching a movie. They also offer lunch menus, so it's highly recommended for lunchtime!

I wasn't in the mood for meat in the afternoon, so I was drawn to the mini tantanmen and chijimi set. It cost ¥980. The service was friendly and efficient. The food arrived shortly after ordering. A mini salad was included with mushrooms, lettuce, paprika, and dried wakame, and the dressing was served on the side. The vegetables were crisp and fresh, but unfortunately, the dressing was not chilled. The tantanmen had the option of soup or no soup, and I chose soup. I wish it had been hotter, but it was still tasty and easy to eat. The topping of peanuts added a nice crunch. The chijimi, however, was overcooked and hard to eat. It seemed to have seafood in it, but it was tough to chew, and besides the chives, it was hard to identify the other ingredients. I regret not ordering the popular beef tongue dish that other tables were enjoying. I chose the wrong dish this time.

I visited around 7:30 pm on a national holiday. The peak time had passed so I was seated quickly. The main menu is of course beef tongue, but I ordered a different set meal. I forgot the name. However, the food took a long time to come. I waited for about 20 minutes. I eventually called a waiter and was told that there was a group of over 10 people which was causing the delay. Huh? I don't think that's relevant to us. The waiter apologized and seemed sorry, but I was starting to get a little annoyed from waiting too long. When the food finally arrived, it was okay. The meat was delicious but a bit tough to chew, so I wouldn't recommend it for a date, haha. The oxtail soup was light yet flavorful and tasty, but the portion was quite large. You can get a rice refill, but women might not need it as the initial serving is already quite filling. Hmm. I don't think I would particularly want to go back again.

I came to the movie theater at AEON to watch Aladdin. While passing through the restaurant street, I decided to eat at Fukusuke. I ordered the small salted beef tongue set meal (1630 yen), and my husband ordered the beef tongue and leek miso stir-fry set meal (1030 yen). Even though I ordered the small set meal, the portion was quite generous. The meat was thickly sliced. However, the leek miso stir-fry is around 1200 yen, so it is relatively expensive. The meat in the leek miso stir-fry is thin. Also, the seats are very close to each other... They divide one table into two using partitions. However, the beef tongue was delicious.

We visited the restaurant at 8:00 pm on a holiday with two people. We waited a little bit, but we were seated at a table right away. There were several two-person seats with partitions at the counter, and we were seated without having to worry about the next table, making it easy to have a comfortable conversation. The beef tongue was thick and delicious.

I was hungry, so I went to a beef tongue restaurant in Kyoto AEON Mall. The beef tongue was thick, tender, and delicious. You can also get free refills of rice, so I left feeling full and satisfied.

The food was decent. The portion of the tail soup was large. The rice was delicious and it was great that they offered free refills.

I ordered the new menu item, Pork Ginger Stir-fry Set Meal, at Gyutan Fukusuke on the 4th floor of Ion Mall Kyoto. The seasoning was delicious and it was amazing!

I entered the restaurant at my daughter's request. Personally, I don't usually have rice with beef tongue. However, I was able to eat it. I like beef tongue grilled at a yakiniku restaurant, where you can grill it yourself and eat it with green onions and salt.

The beef tongue was delicious. But the portion size and price were a bit much.
