Average... prices are also average... fitting for Fushimi, the clientele gives off a rough vibe.

On this day, I went to a Korean BBQ restaurant with four friends. We got lost on the way there, as it was a road we rarely took, but eventually found the place. The nearest station would be Kintetsu Fushimi Station, I believe. The sign at the entrance indicated that it was a Korean-style BBQ restaurant. We were guided to a private room on the second floor since it was a weekday. We ordered Tan-shio (tongue with salt), Ichibo (ribeye), Harami (skirt steak), Rosu (loin), Sakura Yukke (beef tartare), and Naengmyeon (cold noodles), among other dishes. The taste was decent for the price we paid. I'm not very familiar with Korean cuisine, but I think those who enjoy Korean home-style cooking would find it good.

From Hōzen-in Temple, walking through the Philosophers' Path and enjoying the autumn leaves, I arrived at Eikando Temple. After walking around and working up an appetite, I visited this restaurant for the first time. The exterior has a calm atmosphere of a traditional townhouse, and the interior is spacious with raised seating areas. First, I tried the bean sprout namul, which had a crunchy texture and delicious flavor. Next, I had the premium wagyu beef tongue with salt, which was lightly seared and had a delightful texture. Then, I tried the premium ribeye with salt, which was beautifully sliced and tasty, but I wished for a richer flavor. The premium skirt steak with salt was visually appealing and tasted amazing, with a rich umami flavor and a glossy texture. I also ordered the pork belly with sauce, which was unexpectedly delicious and went well with rice. The pork cheek with salt was rich and tender, bursting with flavor. I also tried the premium skirt steak with salt again because it was so delicious. The meat was perfectly tender and flavorful. Overall, the meal cost around 5,000 yen per person, which is not cheap but the satisfaction level was high. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for its high-quality dishes and great service. They also offer complimentary cold tea. I mainly ordered dishes with salt seasoning this time, but I am looking forward to trying their homemade sauce next time. The staff was friendly, and they have a parking lot, so I will definitely visit again after exploring Kyoto. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Revisited in late April with 16 colleagues for a company gathering. We rented two rooms and had 4 tables with 4 people each, perfect for our group (lol). We consulted in advance about the meat selection and enjoyed a variety of cuts such as tongue, loin, kalbi, tetchan, mino, and more. It was incredibly delicious! The side dishes included kimchi hot pot, tteok soup, hormone hot pot, salad, kimchi platter, namul platter, Korean cold noodles, and sherbet, providing a full lineup of delights. Everyone had a great time, with some even saying it was the best barbecue they've ever had! Fushimi Boubana is a local gem offering outstanding cuisine. The entrance with sprinkled water exudes a sense of cleanliness and purity. The restaurant is meticulously maintained, and the staff are serious and professional, creating a pleasant dining experience. The interior has cozy sunken kotatsu seating for 4 people, as well as table seating and a counter. The second floor offers private rooms for more versatile usage. The meat is top-notch, and the side dishes like chige and kupa are also delicious. Once you visit, it's sure to become a favorite spot! It's perfect for treating yourself or your family to some high-quality meat.

The cost performance is not particularly great, but they serve good quality meat. It's decent for the price. When I visited, there were quite a lot of staff members, so the food and drinks came out quickly. It might be a good choice for a small business dinner or entertaining clients.

It was delicious! The beef was tender and melted in your mouth at room temperature. The beef tongue was also delicious!

I had no idea about this restaurant, but my parents knew about it so they took me there. The interior had a counter, tables, tatami seating, and a second floor with a party room (although I didn't see it myself, it was written inside the restaurant). We sat in the tatami seating, which was a sunken kotatsu table, and it was comfortable. We ordered some meat dishes - thick-cut pork belly, beef tongue, and tongue sashimi. The pork belly was thick with just the right amount of fat, and very tender. The tongue sashimi was a first for me. It was my first time trying raw tongue, and it melted in my mouth after just a few chews. It was unexpectedly soft and delicious. The drink selection was also extensive, and the meat was very tasty. I definitely want to come back again.

Fushimi is located in a not so convenient area. It has been around for a long time. It has been renovated for quite some time now. Both the interior and exterior have been built with a lot of money. The second floor is suitable for banquets. The staff's service is clear and pleasant. The salad with watercress is delicious! I always get seconds of this. The meat options include high-quality harami, kalbi, loin, and tetchan. Tetchan comes with choices of more fat, normal, or less fat. This is quite rare. You can also choose between sauce and salt for the meat. If you're eating with rice, sauce is the way to go! The soup is okay. It's quite popular. Despite looking like a high-end restaurant and being a bit intimidating to enter, it's popular. Surprisingly, I think there are many families who come here. I don't remember seeing any suspicious couples at this restaurant. The beef was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
