One of the most well-known establishments under Fuji's management is Maido Ookini Shokudo, a white signboarded set meal restaurant. There are many affiliated stores around Tenma in Osaka, likely due to Fuji's headquarters being located there. Nearby the Pinocchio Kameoka store, you can find another Maido Ookini Shokudo. In Kyoto, there is Nishitoin Shokudo in the center, and in Nishikyo Ward, there is Keigan Shokudo. Other establishments like "Haradonuts" which uses tofu residue, were originally independently operated but later acquired by Fuji. They also manage udon restaurant "Turumaru Udon," soba restaurant "Doyajin," and tempura restaurant "Ebinoya." Some of these establishments, like Doyajin, have received high ratings on Tabelog, so it's not to be underestimated just because they are chain stores. The price of coffee and pudding for around 600 yen is impressive. The taste is not bad either, although I drank the coffee black as the cream was in a table-side portion. The interior is colorful, attempting to create a unique atmosphere for an individual store, but it still feels somewhat like a chain store. Given the reasonable price and quality, I would definitely consider using this place if I saw it nearby.

Every company is struggling to keep prices down amidst rising material costs, and it seems like this restaurant is no exception. The morning menu has been revised, and it feels like the value for money has significantly decreased. Changes include: free toast with drink orders, but with less toppings like fruit and more boiled eggs; additional charge of 68 yen for sandwiches and Japanese set meals, available from 8:00 am; no longer offering additional boiled eggs or mini salads. I used to look forward to the morning menu here, but the new options are disappointing and have taken away the excitement of visiting regularly.
