I stopped by the "Daiichi Asahimachi Store" in Asahimachi, Asahikawa City for some shopping. The store used to be a "Viva Lova" but now it's changed to the same group's "The Sankurodo". Both stores are from the same company. I thought Viva Lova was a bakery, but this supermarket has other bakeries as well. Maybe "The Sankurodo", which sells popular sweets, is a good choice? I bought two popular items of three varieties each. "Large Dorayaki Houjouzou" (170 yen) ... It's been a while since I've had this dorayaki. It's big, moist, and delicious. It contains red beans from Hokkaido and white kidney beans. The white kidney beans are hidden behind the red beans, making them hard to see (laughs). "Concher Pie" (155 yen) ... A Japanese-style pie with sweet red bean paste and whipped cream inside. It has a nice flavor. "Kura◯" (118 yen) ... This is my first time trying this. It has a milk-flavored red bean paste inside a thin skin. The milk red bean paste inside is elegant and very delicious! This shop is convenient for gifts or home use, offering a variety of easy-to-use sweets!
