I love this sweet potato shop♡♡ It has a bit of a luxurious feel(●︎´∀︎`●︎)♡ Mitsu Koya sources the necessary amount directly from affiliated farmers in places like Tanegashima. They are particular about the soil preparation. - Green tea sweet potato chips for 910 yen. Not just sweet potato chips, but green tea sweet potato chips♡♡ They have a green tea aroma( ⁎ᵕᴗᵕ⁎ )♡♡ The perfect amount of sweetness is delicious and I couldn't stop eating them( ♥︎ᴗ♥︎ )♡♡ They were also well received as souvenirs. The staff was very polite and that was nice(ˊᗜˋ*)♡ Good PayPay support.

There are different types of taro snacks like taro chips, ranging from plain to green tea, roasted tea, and black tea flavors. Each has its own expiration date, so I plan to buy one type per visit to try them all. There are also four types of baked sweet potatoes labeled as moist, soft, and fluffy. I want to try those too. I visited "Imo Mikkashi Mikkoya" in the food section on the basement floor of Kyoto ISETAN. I couldn't resist because I love sweet potatoes. I chose sweet potato chips, which they call "Cha Kenpi" here. I picked the blend, which seems to be the most popular. It was a bit of a struggle to get them as my daughter was out playing Pokémon GO, so my wife and I had to share. The chips were delicious and a bit messy to eat, but I liked the crunchy texture.

It has a unique taste with hojicha and black tea flavors, and it's really crunchy and fragrant. I bought the paper-packaged version this time, but if you buy the can version, they will refill it with the "Blend" flavor for you next time. And the price is reasonable too! It's in a My Bottle format, haha.

The four types included orange, sweet, red, and silky red. The orange sweet potatoes were especially tasty, with a vibrant orange color and a sweet, moist texture. I will definitely be buying more of these as the weather gets colder!

Day trip date to Kyoto with my wife. Since we don't have any kids, we went to Kyoto Isetan first thing in the morning. We always make sure to get the sweet potato snacks that are usually sold out when we leave. Purchased at 11:15 (there were still plenty of each item left). [Before moving on to the sweets review...] The rich matcha flavor is exclusive to Kyoto. I'm not sure where else you can buy it besides Isetan. [Summary] Matcha sweet potato snacks (intense matcha flavor) for 1,080 yen. They come in a bag measuring about 150x70mm, with a thickness of around 40mm. I used about 2/3 of the bag in the photo. The snacks are square-shaped, 2-3mm thick, and 40-100mm long. Each piece is coated with matcha syrup. The outer layer is quite hard due to the syrup, making it crunchy. The inside is crispy like a snack. The sweet potato has a gentle sweetness, with a hint of sweet matcha syrup. The matcha flavor is not overpowering, allowing the sweet potato flavor to shine. I couldn't stop eating them, crunching away until they were all gone. The expiration date is about one month.

I came to Isetan and bought some roasted sweet potatoes here. I got a pack with four types: Silk Sweet, Kincha, Kinjo, and Haruka. When I brought them home, they disappeared in no time. These roasted sweet potatoes are a must-have at our house. I will definitely be coming back here regularly.

Located in the basement of JR Kyoto Isetan. A popular sweet potato specialty store in Osaka. They also sell sweet potatoes at the storefront, but I purchased tea-flavored kenpi. It seems to be a limited edition product only available at Kyoto Isetan. It has a subtle tea aroma. It's not too sweet and delicious. They also have canned versions that can be kept for another day.

My daughter loves scones as a snack, but there is one more thing she can't miss out on. That is roasted sweet potatoes. I remembered seeing Mitsu Koya's shop in Osaka in a review by MyRebi-sama before, so it stuck in my memory. They opened a store in Kyoto this time due to the renewal of Isetan's basement. My daughter really wanted to go there, so we stopped by. They had not only roasted sweet potatoes but also sweet potato snacks like imo kenpi, but strangely, my daughter dislikes sweet potato snacks that are deep-fried. She never eats imo kenpi or daigakuimo, so this time we only got roasted sweet potatoes. On that day, the sweet potatoes available were Kincha, Beniharuka, and Kintoki. Since we didn't know which one we would like, we ordered a set where we could compare one of each. The cost was 1,080 yen. My daughter prefers sweet potatoes with a sticky and sweet texture. On the other hand, I prefer the traditional roasted sweet potatoes that are fluffy. The sweet potatoes we had this time were all close to my daughter's preference, so my evaluation is average, but my daughter really liked them and said she wants me to buy them every time we go to Kyoto. It seems that they offer various types of sweet potatoes, so I think it's nice to talk to the staff and order your favorite sweet potatoes or buy several types to compare. Ease of reservation - Revisit rate: I'm not a big fan of roasted sweet potatoes, but my daughter gives it 5 stars (laughs). Thank you for the meal!

I'm delighted that Mikanoya is now at Isetan in Kyoto. I initially had trouble finding the store in Nakazaki-cho, but when I finally did, the sweet potatoes I bought were delicious! I bought some when they were at a event at Isetan before. Now they have a store inside Isetan with a sweet potato assortment for 1080 yen, including Beni Kurenai, Kin Toki, and Beni Haruka. They are all delicious. I shared them with my niece, who is a fan of this store. I will definitely continue to be a customer in the future!

The three different types of Mikkouya's baked sweet potatoes are distinct, with a generous amount of honey that is incredibly rich and sticky. The skin is crispy and fragrant, and the sweet potatoes are so gooey and delicious, unlike any other you've tried before.
