Cheese fondue hamburgers and all-you-can-eat freshly baked bread. The bread was so delicious that I found out it was from the Saint Marc group. I want to go back because the freshly baked bread is really tasty. However, the staff's attitude was not good. I wish they could smile and provide better customer service since they are in the service industry.

As usual, I met my breakfast buddy in the morning and we spent a lovely time together. We quickly finished our errands, washed the car, and got ready to go out. After preparing lunch for my dad, we headed to the Bread Garden at AEON Mall Kyoto store for all-you-can-eat bread, which is our usual spot. We used the pad to choose our mains, both selecting the Grilled Nasi and Bacon Tomato Pasta. Then we picked our side dishes. We opted for the drink bar, which costs an additional 340 yen including tax. We enjoyed our drinks and bread until we were full. Enjoy!

We stopped by this place on a whim while waiting for the Shinkansen. The all-you-can-eat bread was delicious, and I managed to try all the varieties before the pasta arrived! My husband and I were talking about how we might get full before the pasta came, but the size of the bread was just right and we had no problem enjoying the pasta as well!

This is Bread Garden at Aeon Mall Kyoto store. I visited around 11:00 on a Sunday afternoon. There were not many customers at this time, so I was able to sit down right away. The restaurant is located on the 4th floor of the Aeon Mall's restaurant area. The open layout allows you to see inside the restaurant from the outside. Inside, there is a service area with bread and drink bar right at the entrance. The interior is clean and welcoming, making it easy for many people to enter. The staff are polite and attentive. The menu offers a variety of Western dishes with prices ranging from 1000 to 1500 yen. You can also add options like all-you-can-eat bread and a drink bar to suit your preferences. On this day, they had a Demi & Cheese Fair with set menus that included all-you-can-eat bread at a great price. I ordered the Cheese-in-Hamburg with Demi-Glace Sauce for 1390 yen. While waiting, I enjoyed the all-you-can-eat bread, which included Tuna Mayo Toast, Chocolate Banana Roll, Chestnut Cream Roll, Whole Wheat Roll, Mini Croissant, Toast Roll Plain, Cheese Long, and Japanese-style Chapata. The Tuna Mayo Toast, Chocolate Banana, and Chestnut Cream were limited-time items. Since I visited during opening hours, everything was freshly baked, which was great. The Tuna Mayo Toast was a simple combination of tuna mayo on a plain toast roll, but the rich flavor was addictive, and I couldn't stop eating it. The Cheese-in-Hamburg with Demi-Glace Sauce came with onions, broccoli, and potatoes on the side. As the name suggests, it was a satisfying dish with the melty cheese inside the hamburger and the rich sauce. It's a dish that I think anyone would enjoy. This restaurant is conveniently located near Kyoto Station, not too crowded, and offers a casual dining experience. I would like to visit again when I have the chance.

This is Bread Garden at AEON Mall Kyoto store. It's a restaurant I have visited multiple times when using Kyoto Station. I visited on a Sunday in the 11 o'clock hour and there was no wait, so I was able to enter right away. The restaurant is located on the 4th floor of the mall's restaurant area. It has an open layout where you can see inside from the outside. Inside, there is a service area with all-you-can-eat bread and a drink bar right at the entrance. There are tables lined up to accommodate many customers. The staff's service was polite. The menu mainly consists of Western dishes priced around 1000-1500 yen. You can add on options like all-you-can-eat bread, a drink bar, and salad. On this day, they had a Tartar Fair where you could get all-you-can-eat bread with a main dish. I chose the Chicken Cutlet for 1190 yen and selected the mentaiko tartar sauce. While waiting, I grabbed a few pieces of bread. I tried the Kochujang Chapata, Couverture Chocolate Toast, Mango and Ricotta, Cheese Long, and Mini Croissant. Kochujang, Couverture, and Mango seemed to be limited-time items. The Kochujang Chapata had the usual chewy texture with a spicy flavor that was addictive. The Cheese Long was freshly baked that day, with a great texture and cheese flavor making it a must-have item. The Chicken Cutlet was served with tartar sauce, potatoes, carrots, and eggplant. The cutlet itself was juicy and crispy, a classic item in this restaurant chain. The rich mentaiko tartar sauce added to the enjoyment, although I wished there was a bit more of it. Overall, this restaurant is a hidden gem near Kyoto Station with short waits even on weekends. It has a convenient pricing system, so I would like to visit again.

This is the Ion Mall Kyoto store of the Sanmark-affiliated all-you-can-eat bread restaurant "Bread Garden". I visited around 11:00 on a Sunday afternoon. As it was in the 11 o'clock hour, I was able to sit without any wait. The restaurant is located on the 4th floor restaurant street of the Ion Mall. The inside of the restaurant has an open layout where you can see from the outside. There are many table seats inside. There is a service corner for bread, drinks, etc. as soon as you enter. The customer service was also polite. The menu mainly consists of Western dishes priced around 1000-1500 yen. You can add options like all-you-can-eat bread, drink bar, and salad according to your preference. On this day, I ordered the shimeji and edamame, mentaiko cream pasta gratin for 1090 yen + all-you-can-eat bread for 180 yen, and a potato assortment for 290 yen. While waiting for the dishes, I went to get various types of bread. I tried edamame roll, cheese long, mango & rare cheese, hotel roll, mini croissant, kinako chapata, etc. The mango & rare cheese, edamame roll, and kinako chapata are limited-time items I believe. The mango & rare cheese had a subtle mango flavor with a rich cheesy taste like a cheese bread. The kinako chapata had a fluffy texture and a hint of sweetness which was well-balanced. The shimeji and edamame, mentaiko cream pasta gratin was very creamy and the mentaiko was generously added, but the cheese flavor was dominant with the mentaiko acting as a subtle hint. The edamame added a nice texture and the overall taste was addictive. It was quite a good dish. The potato assortment had a simple taste but the portion size for the price was satisfying. This restaurant, even within Ion Mall, is not too crowded and is easy to use. I would like to revisit when the mood strikes.

This is the "Bread Garden" restaurant, part of the Sanmark group, located in AEON Mall Kyoto. I visited during lunchtime on a holiday weekend. The restaurant area was surprisingly empty around 11 am, making it a good time to visit. The restaurant is on the 4th floor of the mall and has a spacious and open layout. Inside, there are tables and a service area for bread, drinks, and salad. The staff were polite and the menu offered main Western dishes ranging from 1000 to 1500 yen, with the option to add on bread buffet, drink bar, and salad. I ordered the chicken and bacon cream pasta gratin with bread buffet for 1240 yen and a mixed potato dish for 290 yen from the holiday specials menu. While waiting for my food, I enjoyed the freshly baked bread, including kinako chapata, edamame toast, garlic potato, raisin roll, cheese long, and sugar roll. The kinako chapata had a subtle kinako flavor and a chewy texture, while the edamame toast was a new and tasty addition. The potato dish was simple and good value for the price. The cream pasta gratin was creamy and flavorful, with plenty of chicken and a nice touch of mushrooms and onions. Overall, the food was decent and satisfying. This restaurant is a hidden gem near Kyoto Station, with good quality food and a satisfying bread buffet. I would definitely consider revisiting in the future.

This is the Ion Mall Kyoto branch of the bread buffet restaurant "Bread Garden," which is part of the Sanmark group. I visited on a Sunday morning around 11 o'clock. The restaurant area here is surprisingly not too crowded on weekends, so it might be a hidden gem. The restaurant is located on the 4th floor of the Ion Mall Kyoto in a open layout where you can see inside from the outside. Inside, there is a service area with bread and a drink bar right at the entrance. There are many table seats lined up, and it seems like it can accommodate a decent number of people. The staff's service is polite. The menu offers Western dishes ranging from 1000 to 1500 yen. You can also add on options like all-you-can-eat bread, a drink bar, and salad. On this day, I ordered the oven-baked toro salmon with Japanese vinaigrette sauce for 1090 yen, all-you-can-eat bread for 180 yen, and a potato assortment for 290 yen. I also had a coupon for a free drink bar. While waiting for the food, I enjoyed the bread as usual. The selection included lemon sugar roll, Japanese-style chapata, cheese long, garlic potato, sakura bread, mini croissant, and more. The sakura bread, garlic potato, and lemon sugar roll were limited-time items. The sakura bread had a subtly sweet flavor and a pleasant sakura aroma, with a comforting texture. The lemon sugar roll had a gentle lemon flavor with a well-balanced sweetness. The toro salmon with Japanese vinaigrette sauce came with vegetables (onion, shiso, eggplant, cherry tomato, potato, etc.) and a refreshing Japanese-style sauce with a hint of citrus. The toro salmon was rich in flavor, tender, and easy to eat. It was a dish that you could enjoy eating. As for the potato assortment, the potatoes used here are familiar as they are used in many of Bread Garden's dishes. The generous portion made it a good value. This restaurant is conveniently located near Kyoto Station and is not too crowded, making it very user-friendly. With its affordable price including all-you-can-eat bread, I would like to visit again.

This is the "Bread Garden" restaurant, part of the Sanmark group, located in the AEON Mall Kyoto store. I visited on a weekday around 11 am. Since it was a weekday, the restaurant was not crowded and we were able to get a table right away. The restaurant is located on the 4th floor of the AEON Mall Kyoto in the restaurant area. There is parking available at the AEON Mall, so it is convenient for those coming by car. The interior of the restaurant is spacious and open, with a view extending to the outside. As soon as you enter, there is a self-service bread area where you can choose from a variety of bread. The staff at the restaurant were polite and attentive. The menu offers Western dishes ranging from 1000 to 1500 yen. You can also add on options like all-you-can-eat bread and a drink bar. On this day, I ordered the "Teritama Hamburger Cocotte Gratin" (including all-you-can-eat bread) for 1390 yen from the fair menu. While waiting for the food, I enjoyed sampling various types of bread including garlic potato, sakura bread, lemon sugar roll, and pizza bread margherita style. I also had mini croissants and cheese rolls. Among the bread, the garlic potato stood out with its generous filling of potatoes and strong garlic flavor, offering a unique taste. However, the turnover of bread was slow on that weekday, so freshly baked bread was not always available, which was a slight downside. The Teritama Hamburger Cocotte Gratin featured a hamburger patty with a sunny-side-up egg and teriyaki sauce, served with a mini gratin. The mini gratin had a rich cheese flavor and complemented the dish well. I wished the portion size was a bit larger as I enjoyed it. The hamburger patty was decent, and the simple sunny-side-up egg was as expected. The portion size was just right when combined with the all-you-can-eat bread. It had been a while since I visited this restaurant, but due to its convenient location near the station and the all-you-can-eat bread option, I find it a user-friendly restaurant. It is not too crowded and a hidden gem worth visiting. I look forward to returning again.

This is a review of a bread buffet restaurant called "Bread Garden," located in Ion Mall Kyoto. The restaurant is part of the Sanmark group and offers a variety of Western dishes along with all-you-can-eat bread. The atmosphere is open and spacious, with a self-service bread corner as soon as you enter. The menu includes a range of Western dishes priced between 1000-2000 yen. I ordered the Premium Hamburger Steak & Mixed Grill set for 1360 yen, which came with the bread buffet for an additional 180 yen. The bread selection includes seasonal items like Mushroom Chapata, Chestnut Cream Roll, Sweet Potato Toast, Hotel Roll, Mini Croissant, Black Sesame and Brown Sugar, Cheese Roll, and Sugar Roll. The freshly baked items were particularly delicious, like the Sugar Roll with a perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness. The Hamburger & Mixed Grill set was surprisingly filling, with a generous portion of hamburger, chicken, sausage, grilled vegetables, and fries. The garlic sauce paired well with the juicy hamburger. Overall, the food was simple but satisfying. The restaurant is conveniently located near Kyoto Station and is not too crowded even on weekends, making it a convenient choice for a meal. I would definitely visit again in the future.

The restaurant is located on the 4th floor in the restaurant area and has a spacious and open layout. There are many table seats inside, making it easy to enter. The staff's service was polite. The menu at this restaurant mainly consists of Western dishes, where ordering a main dish entitles you to enjoy the bread buffet. You can also add on options like a drink bar according to your preference. There are also seasonal limited-time menu items available. On this day, I ordered the Japanese-style hamburger steak with Japone sauce for 1290 yen. While waiting for the dish, I enjoyed the bread buffet which included classic items like cheese long sticks, croissants, white cream toast, as well as seasonal items like ghost-shaped bread, chestnut cream roll, and black sugar and black sesame bread. The ghost-shaped bread had a sweet and crispy pastry texture, while the black sugar and black sesame bread had a rich flavor with a hint of bitterness from the black sesame. The classic items were easy to eat as always. The Japanese-style hamburger steak came with a Japanese sauce, onions, and perilla leaves, along with potatoes and eggplants. The hamburger itself was juicy and tender, complemented by the flavors of the Japanese sauce, onions, and especially the perilla leaves which added a unique Japanese twist to the dish. It was a moist and easy-to-eat dish. This restaurant offers a reasonably priced bread buffet experience and is a convenient place to dine. It is relatively less crowded, making it a hidden gem near Kyoto Station.

I visited Bread Garden in the Aeon Mall in front of Kyoto Station. It is a self-service bakery where you can easily pick out your own bread. I enjoyed seasonal ghost-shaped bread, chestnut cream roll, traditional Japanese-style chapata, and cheese long bread. My favorite was definitely the cheese long bread. The cheese was delicious. For my main dish, I had the garlic shrimp and mushroom ajillo, which was also very tasty. Thank you for the meal. I would like to visit again.

This is the Ion Mall KYOTO store of the restaurant "Bread Garden," which is known for its all-you-can-eat bread from the Sanmark group. I arrived during lunchtime on a holiday. Despite it being lunchtime, there were no waiting customers, and it seemed like there were plenty of empty seats inside the restaurant. It felt like a hidden gem. The restaurant is located on the 4th floor of the Ion Mall KYOTO's restaurant area. The restaurant has an open and spacious atmosphere, with plenty of seats available, making it seem like it can accommodate many people. The service caught my attention, as a male staff member was providing service without a smile. The words spoken were difficult to hear, which may have left a negative impression. The menu was similar to the Sanmark group's "Bakket" restaurant, with a focus on Western dishes such as steak and hamburgers, along with the option for all-you-can-eat bread and the ability to add salad and drinks. On this day, I ordered the "Salmon Tomato Pasta Gratin" for 1090 yen, along with a drink bar and bread set for an additional 490 yen. The bread, which you have to pick up yourself unlike at Sanmark, may have been sitting for a bit, but the taste was still satisfying. There were limited-time offerings like White Peach Rare Cheesecake and White Sauce Toast, both of which had good flavors. The White Sauce Toast had a hint of saltiness that was enjoyable. The classic Cheese Long also had a strong cheese flavor, and the Japanese-style Chapata had a soy sauce flavor that provided a satisfying bite. The Salmon Tomato Pasta Gratin had a tangy tomato sauce with a rich and mellow taste. The salmon was tender and easy to eat. The combination with bread was also delicious. This restaurant, located within Ion Mall, was surprisingly not too crowded, allowing for a relaxed dining experience. With reasonable prices, it's a good place to enjoy delicious bread and dishes.

I had a hamburger. The hamburger is round in shape. It comes with sauce on the side. When I press the hamburger with chopsticks, the meat juice oozes out gently. The cross-section reveals a meaty interior with minced meat and onions. It's tender and juicy, with a good balance of meatiness. It pairs well with the barbecue sauce and was delicious.

June 17, 2017, finally the Mizukaze service started! The Twilight Express, which was retired with regret, has been reborn as a sightseeing train. The moving hotel features luxurious interior and dishes prepared by top chefs. While boarding may be out of reach for the common folk, my husband, eldest daughter, and grandchildren went to Kyoto Station to see it off. The platform was filled with a welcoming atmosphere even before its arrival, with train enthusiasts setting up their cameras early. The cute mascot entertained the children. We waited on the platform for over an hour, but it was so enjoyable that time flew by. I would love to ride on it someday. After seeing it off, we decided to have lunch at a bakery in Aeon where you can eat all the bread you want. My husband had the Father's Day set, my daughter had chicken cutlet, and I had colorful vegetables and chicken sauté. You can choose rice or bread, and of course, I chose bread. I also added the drink bar. Children under 3 years old can have bread and the drink bar for free. The drink bar includes orange juice, grapefruit juice, vegetable juice, oolong tea, coffee, and tea. The bread at the counter was soft and delicious, with options like butter rolls, mugwort rolls, sugar rolls, croissants, etc., served hot one after another. I had about 5-6 pieces before the main course arrived. Now, regarding the main course... it was a bit disappointing, similar to XX Mark. My daughter felt the same way. I wish they would put more effort into it. It's a shame because the bread was so good. Perhaps it's because it's reasonably priced? It was a close miss for this restaurant.

I visited AEON Mall KYOTO after a long time, and it had changed quite a bit. The layout of the stores had changed, including the food court. I went into this newly opened restaurant. It seemed to be part of the Saint Marc group, and they offered all-you-can-eat bread. They had some special menu items for their opening, so I ordered those. However, the service was very slow as they seemed to be still getting used to things. The "freshly baked bread all-you-can-eat" main dish didn't have much stock, so it felt a bit lonely having to go get it yourself. But the taste was delicious. The dishes I ordered were very easy to eat and had a universal appeal. From the perspective of a restaurant in a shopping mall, I think it passes with flying colors. Also, they had a great kids' menu. I've never seen so many options for kids before. This is great for parents with children. Personally, I think this restaurant will continue to grow in the future. The staff's customer service is excellent. They are all polite and efficient. With the delicious food, once the restaurant gets more experience, I believe it will become a popular spot. I would like to visit again.

I had a 500 yen discount coupon for the LINE Shop Card, so I decided to visit the store again. It was Saturday night, but it wasn't crowded at all, so I was able to enter right away. Since I had already eaten, this time I ordered a Quinamman with apple and caramel sauce and a drink bar. While waiting, I enjoyed some soft drinks from the drink bar. The order arrived after a short wait. I tried the Quinamman with apple and caramel sauce, and it was quite delicious. This was my first time having dessert at the shop, and although the portion was small, it was tasty. I used the 500 yen coupon and a limited-time Rakuten Super Point for payment. The staff also informed me that I could use a coupon for 3 breads as a souvenir, so I used that as well, making it even more cost-effective. The breads included one croissant and two regular breads, which I enjoyed later and found the croissant to be quite delicious.

I received a 500 yen discount coupon last time I visited, so I decided to come back again. It was Sunday afternoon and I had to wait a little before being seated. This time, I ordered the Chicken Fricassee with a sauce of two marinated lobster tails and a side of vegetable salad. The vegetable salad arrived first and it was okay. Then the Chicken Fricassee was served. I tried it right away and it was quite delicious with the combination of chicken and lobster sauce. After using the 500 yen coupon and some limited-time Rakuten Super Points, the payment was a good deal.
