Visited "Koseki Coffee Shop" in Jinbocho. It is a long-established coffee shop in Jinbocho with a lovely white sign. Entered through the entrance with slightly steep stairs, adding to the excitement of a treasure hunt. Inside, there is a spacious seating area with counter seats and table seats. Opted for a table seat today. The interior is decorated in charcoal gray tones, with calming background music. As it was post-lunch, I was there for dessert. Specifically, I had my eyes set on the cream puff. Excited to try it. It arrived with a cup of coffee, and ordering dessert with coffee gets you a 100 yen discount. □ Koseki Original Cream Puff (550 yen) Served on an adorable animal (squirrel) plate. The cream puff has a distinctive choux pastry. The pastry is slightly warm and incredibly buttery and crispy, with a delicious buttery flavor. When you top it with custard cream filled with mascarpone cheese using a butter knife, it becomes even more delicious. I love this cream puff. □ Koseki Blend Coffee (600 yen) A bitter black coffee. A comforting taste that pairs well with the cream puff. Adding milk makes it softer in flavor. The atmosphere is very calming, and I enjoyed the delicious cream puff. I really like the cream puffs here. Spending time reading old magazines was peaceful and enjoyable. A great coffee shop indeed. Payment is cash only, so I paid in cash. It was very delicious. Will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal.

While strolling around Jimbocho, I came across this cafe where I could relax and take my time. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but it seems to be an area with many highly-rated shops. The display of cups was neat and the cafe had a nice atmosphere. I would love to visit again if I have the chance!

I visited the restaurant at 2:30 pm on a regular day. There were 2 or 3 groups inside, and we sat at a corner of a large table. I ordered the Seto Blend (bitter) for 600 yen. I've recently started to like coffee, and although I'm not very knowledgeable about it, the moment I took a sip, I thought, "This is delicious!" It was a very fragrant coffee. This time, we only had drinks, but the dessert menu was also very tempting with many appealing options.

After enjoying some Napolitan at Sabouru 2 during my cafe tour in Jinbocho, I wanted to have a delicious coffee, so I came to this place. I ordered the Furuseto Blend for 600 yen, and you can choose your cup from the shelf. There are so many options to choose from, which makes it fun to decide. The Furuseto Blend had a strong bitterness and was very tasty, perfect for someone like me who doesn't like acidity in coffee. I usually prefer cafe au lait, but this coffee was delicious even without milk. It was a great experience! ✨☺

In the early evening on a regular day, there were about five groups of customers in the store. When I entered the store with Beethoven playing in the background, I noticed a lot of antique cups behind the counter. I later found out that you can choose your cup as a special feature at the counter. This time, I didn't do my research and ended up sitting at a table, missing out on that. But the cute cups were so lovely to look at and there were antique sugar pots in the store as well, a feast for the eyes. Unfortunately, the chiffon cake and the cream puff on the sign were sold out. Oh, my second mistake. Well, I came for the coffee anyway... or so I thought until I found out that I had also ordered a cheesecake without realizing it. The low-temperature baked cheesecake was almost like a chilled rare cheesecake, moist and delicious. The dishware was also lovely. The acidity of the cheesecake paired well with the bitterness of the coffee, making me happy. The customers were a mix of businessmen having meetings and ladies enjoying the space at the counter, all enjoying the cozy atmosphere. Thank you for the meal.

Today, work didn't go as smoothly as planned and I ended up running a bit behind schedule. However, I decided to take a break and visit a new shop in Ochanomizu that caught my eye. Across the street from there, I noticed a place I had been curious about for a while - "Kose Coffee Shop", so I decided to stop by for a quick break! The shop is located on the 2nd floor of a building with a restaurant called "Calorie" on the 1st floor and "The Hamburg" on the 3rd floor. The entrance has a traditional feel to it and the interior is spacious, with classical music playing in the background creating a relaxed atmosphere. The sight of the numerous cups lined up behind the counter is quite impressive! There are counter seats, table seats, and large table seats available, and when I visited around 6:30 PM, there were 9 customers already seated and 1 customer who came in after me. I ordered the Kose Blend coffee (600 yen) after looking through the menu on the table. After about 10 minutes of waiting, the Kose Blend coffee arrived. The charcoal-roasted coffee had a pleasant bitterness with a strong richness, but the aftertaste was surprisingly refreshing and enjoyable! As the temperature settled, a hint of sweetness emerged, leaving a lingering taste that was quite delightful. Despite the classical music playing, the relaxed atmosphere was very welcoming, and the charcoal-roasted coffee was delicious. I was more than satisfied and felt that I should have visited this place sooner. I believe there are many opportunities to visit this spot in the Ochanomizu-Kanda area, so I would definitely consider coming back here again as one of my options!

As a child, there are charms that you may not understand. The bitterness of beer, the sweetness of vegetables, the pleasant feeling of hot springs, and the depth of coffee at a café are probably some of them. This café makes you think about such things. The conversations that everyone has while being considerate of those around them make it feel like a space for mature adults. The coffee is also delicious. Drinking a chilled iced coffee in the heat, you feel like you can take a breather. It's a space that makes you want to read a book. Ah, you can really feel the atmosphere of Jimbocho.

After eating curry at Bondi, the nearby cafes were all full, so I decided to try this one for the first time. I usually don't like cold brew coffee, but since they said it was just cold coffee, I decided to give it a try. I was truly impressed. What is this coffee? The taste evolves slowly in the mouth for a long time. If I had to describe it in one word, it would be like a cocoa flavor that stimulates the lower palate. The balance between acidity is just perfect. And the fact that you can drink this for 1100 yen is amazing.

Near Meiji University, there is a coffee shop called "Koseto Coffee Shop" in Surugadai, which is a traditional cafe. Another branch is located near Jimbocho Station called "Gallery Coffee Shop Koseto," which is a cafe with an art gallery attached (with a stylish exterior). "Koseto Coffee Shop" opened in 1980. The name "Koseto" refers to pottery made in Seto, Aichi Prefecture, from the late Kamakura period to the end of the Muromachi period. The owner of this shop is from Seto City, Aichi Prefecture. Inside the shop, you can find pottery signs and objects. The famous author Shota Ikawa also used to visit this place often. I visited around 7:30 pm, and they were still open, but sometimes they close early. The original cream puffs and chiffon cakes from Koseto were already sold out. Behind the counter, there are 250 cups and saucers lined up. They let me choose the cup for my coffee, and I chose a modern Richard Ginori cup (the second cup was Wedgwood). I tried the Koseto Blend (bitter) for 600 yen and the Surugadai Blend (slightly acidic) for 600 yen. They carefully hand drip the coffee for you. The coffee beans swell up when hot water is poured in, releasing coffee gas. The Koseto Blend has a roasted flavor, which pairs well with sweets. The Surugadai Blend has a milder taste with a crisp acidity and a hint of sweetness. It would also go well with sweets, but I think it's best enjoyed as it is (preferably black) to savor the fruity taste of the coffee. The Wedgwood cup is also lovely. Jimbocho is truly a place where you can enjoy cafes and coffee. Thank you for the meal!

It was a quite atmospheric restaurant. I was wandering from Ogawamachi to Jinbocho and thought of having some tea. I searched on Tabelog for a good place and found Furuseto Coffee Shop. It was listed as one of the top 100 shops, so I was worried it might be crowded, but luckily I was able to get in without waiting. I ordered a cream puff and cheesecake since the chiffon cake was sold out, along with an iced coffee. The cream puff was excellent, with a crispy texture that was delicious. The coffee was also special and tasted really good, even for someone like me who doesn't know much about coffee. The calm and relaxed atmosphere of the place was perfect for enjoying the delicious coffee. It's no wonder it's one of the top 100 shops. I really liked it.

Ate anmitsu in front of Suitengu Shrine, walked to Ningyocho, tried to take the train to a sauna in Ueno but it started pouring rain, haha no umbrella so I decided to take the Hanzomon Line and take a break at a cafe in Jimbocho. Once I got off at Jimbocho, of course the rain stopped, haha. Searched and decided on this cafe. Cafes in Jimbocho are retro, cozy, and have great flavors, I like them all. The inside of the cafe was quite spacious and almost full, luckily the counter in the back was available. It was a bit hot at the seat but the owner was considerate and kind. Wanted to eat a cream puff but it was sold out, so I went with the Western pear tart and the Kose pottery blend. You can choose your cup, so I chose the one with a mature taste, haha. The cat's welcome manga was so cute and soothing. And here it is, the coffee was hot and aromatic, with a bit of bitterness and a great taste. The acidity was mild, just how I like it. The Western pear tart had a simple and pleasant taste. I'll come back again next time and take my time. Thanks for the meal! Ψ( 'ч' ☆)

Koseto Blend ¥600. When you sit at the counter, you can choose your cup. I have poor eyesight and can only see things up close. I noticed the famous Vienna rose, is that a teacup? Later I realized that I had chosen the cup myself, and drinking from it gave a special feeling, making it taste delicious. There is some coming and going of people, but you can relax and read a book in the calm atmosphere. I also found some cute items here and I want to come back again.

Visited the 30th cafe from the top 100 cafes list, where they serve popular re-baked cream puffs. I arrived around 12:30 and entered the shop smoothly. The antique interior is filled with ceramic cups, plates, and artistic pieces, with classical music playing softly in the background. I ordered the Surugadai Blend coffee and a cream puff for 1050 yen. The blend coffee had a pleasant acidity without bitterness. The cream puff, with its slightly thick re-baked crust and cream with mascarpone cheese, was a perfect match. It was served on a cute plate with an animal design, mine was a cat. They also offer a selection of stylish cups to choose from. Thank you for the meal.

Visited the shop for the cream puffs. Luckily got the last one! This time it was served on a cat plate. They provide a butter knife with the cream puffs, so you can dip it in the cream and eat it with your hands. There are many lovely cups lined up at the counter. It would be even better if we could choose one. I would like to visit this shop again!

A sudden rain shower led me to this cafe. They have a wide selection of tea cups and coffee cups behind the counter, and you can choose your favorite one. I wonder if they pour more into the bigger cups? There are also many types of cakes available. I ordered the Furuseto Blend and NY Cheesecake for a good balance of bitterness. The calm atmosphere inside the cafe allowed me to relax and enjoy the time passing by.

The cup selection at this restaurant is great, and you can choose based on your preference. The American coffee is smooth and easy to drink, while the Kose Seto Blend is good for those who like a bit more bitterness. For those who prefer acidity, the Surugadai Blend is recommended. The price for all coffees is 600 yen. They also warm up the cups before serving the coffee, which is a nice touch. The cream puff had a warm top layer and a not-too-sweet custard cream filling. It costs 550 yen, which is reasonable. The careful preparation of the coffee and the option to choose cups add value to the experience. Payment is cash only, and they don't sell pastries on weekends. On this day, the cream puffs sold out by 2:30 PM.

The atmosphere is like Alice in Wonderland. The staff seemed to be an elderly couple and they were calm and lovely. The place was almost full and the interior was charming. The iced coffee is roasted over charcoal, giving it a unique aroma and a delicious bitterness. The cookies are homemade with a nostalgic taste of butter. They are small, but so good that you can't stop eating them. The restaurant was mostly filled with women and it was quiet.

I visited Furuseto Coffee Shop, which was selected as one of the top 100 cafes in the 2022 Tabelog rankings. I had Earl Grey tea and Furuseto blend coffee. Unfortunately, cakes and cream puffs were sold out, so I would like to try the cakes again next time. Thank you for the meal.

Tokyo Jimbocho, Cafe Hyakumeiten, Furuseto Coffee Shop. On a Saturday evening, I stopped by after browsing through second-hand bookstores. The quiet atmosphere inside the cafe is perfect for savoring coffee slowly. I chose a cafe au lait on this hot day. In this cafe, you can pick famous brand cups from the shelf in front of the counter. It's enjoyable just looking at them. While enjoying delicious coffee, you can also appreciate art pieces. It was a truly soothing experience. Thank you for the meal.
