The location of the restaurant was said to be 306 meters from Tachikawa Station, but due to not having visited in a while, it took me almost 10 minutes to get there. I arrived at the restaurant at 18:30, the time I had reserved. Compared to the main store in Komae, this branch is somewhat more modern, and it's more convenient than the main store as Komae Station is far away. Unlike the main store where additional orders are not allowed, at this branch, you can place separate orders. For drinks, I ordered a draft premium malt beer in a jug for 580 yen, two lemon sours in tin glasses for 500 yen each, and a decanted red wine for 2,000 yen. As for the meat orders, I chose the following: 1) Today's recommendation, seared liver for 1,280 yen - it was fresh and delicious, almost like tataki. 2) Prime tongue for 1,680 yen - it had the perfect thickness and juiciness. 3) Fillet kalbi for 1,680 yen - it was tender and flavorful. 4) Today's recommendation, heart for 780 yen - it would have been better if it was cut into smaller, thinner pieces. 5) Kimchi for 480 yen - consistently delicious. 6) Garlic yakitori for 400 yen - a convenient and tasty snack. 7) Chorogi salad for 680 yen - served in two bowls, it was a stable and satisfying meal for any yakiniku lover.

The meat was incredibly high quality and delicious! The portion size per person is slightly larger than other yakiniku restaurants, so I think the cost performance is good compared to what you see on the menu. Even the regular kalbi and loin without the "premium" label had plenty of marbling and were very tasty!

Located about a 5-minute walk from the station, this restaurant is situated on a corner of a quiet alleyway that is just at the edge of a bustling downtown area. Although the original store in Hachioji is famous for being featured in "The Lonely Gourmet" and selected as one of the top 100 restaurants, this is a separate branch. Visiting around 9 pm on a weekday, there were plenty of seats available as the last order was at 10:30 pm. The staff were polite and the atmosphere was calm and relaxed.
- Namul Assortment:
Different cuts of meat are served in thick slices, providing a satisfying chewy texture. The staff pays attention to the way the meat is cut, and it really adds to the overall experience. The Namul assortment was delicious, with each vegetable retaining its unique texture and flavor.
- Kimchi Assortment:
The kimchi assortment included a variety of flavors, with a slightly sour and refreshing taste. The pickled vegetables were also tasty and complemented the main dishes well.
- Seared Liver:
Thick slices of liver were lightly seared on the surface, creating a crispy texture with a gentle sweetness. The dish was incredibly delicious and free from any unpleasant odors.
- Fillet Kalbi:
The fillet kalbi had a fine marbling of fat, offering a rich flavor without feeling heavy. The thick cuts provided a great chewy texture that was enjoyable to eat.
- Upper Harami:
The upper harami had a tender and succulent texture, making it a delightful dish to savor. The meat was surprisingly light and not chewy at all, making it a unique and enjoyable experience.
- Meat Sushi:
The meat sushi consisted of lean and fatty cuts, both of which were packed with savory flavors that delighted the taste buds.
- Comtan Soup:
The Comtan soup had a slightly salty taste with a hint of enoki mushroom aroma, creating a delicious and comforting dish.
- Stone-grilled Yukhoe Bibimbap:
The stone-grilled yukhoe bibimbap had a fragrant aroma that stimulated the appetite. The three meat dishes were filling, and despite wanting to try more, the quality and price point made it a great value for money option. Overall, both the meat dishes and side dishes were incredibly delicious.

The voluminous portions and great cost performance. The seared liver sashimi is truly delicious♡ The hormone is also tender and melts in your mouth, plus it's large! It doesn't shrink when cooked! Everything I ate was delicious and satisfying, I ended up going back again just 3 days later. I'm hooked.

Daikoen, a popular yakiniku restaurant among meat lovers with its main branch in Ogikubo. Located within walking distance from Tachikawa Station, it is easily accessible from the city center and reservations are also easy to make. The seared liver in the photo costs 1,380 yen, cooked just enough for the surface color to change, resulting in a tender and juicy texture. It was a delightful experience. I also wanted to try the premium tongue for 3,980 yen, but unfortunately, it was sold out (the heart was also out of stock...). Feeling a bit disappointed, I opted for the upper tongue with salt for 1,680 yen. It was a good choice with a slightly thick cut and a nice bounce, but I promised myself to reserve the premium tongue in advance next time (lol). We also ordered the harami, kalbi, and loin, along with a lean wagyu sushi for 480 yen per piece and cow tongue. We were filled up after enjoying three drinks each, spending around 7,000 yen in total. #TokyoGourmet #TokyoYakiniku #TachikawaGourmet #TachikawaYakiniku #Daikoen #DaikoenTachikawa #TachikawaDaikoen #SearedLiver #WantToConnectWithGourmetLovers #WantToConnectWithYakinikuLovers #WantToConnectWithWagyuLovers #MeatSushi

It's been a while since I visited the Tachikawa branch. I usually go to the Komiyamoto branch, but couldn't get a reservation so I went to the Tachikawa branch. The tongue and skirt steak were delicious, but the recommended top sirloin was too fatty for my taste. I ordered the regular sirloin as a rematch and it was delicious, I even ended up ordering more. It would be great if they had the middle sirloin like they do at the Komiyama branch, but unfortunately they don't have it at the Tachikawa branch. Nevertheless, I will visit again. Thank you for the meal.

This is one of my favorite yakiniku restaurants. We ordered three servings of tongue, and it was really delicious! The liver also had no unpleasant smell and was easy to eat. It goes perfectly with white rice and alcohol, so I tend to drink too much when I come here.

Daikoen in Tachikawa Minamiguchi is a restaurant located within a 10-minute walk from the station. Originally located in Komia, Hachioji, it was a place where you could eat while enjoying the smoke in a traditional house-like setting. However, in Tachikawa, it has become a slightly more stylish and luxurious yakiniku restaurant. The dishes we ordered this time were kimchi, top harami, loin, top loin, and cold noodles. The harami here is exceptional! The sweetness of the meat and the sweetness of the sauce match perfectly, and despite being thick, it is tender and juicy, making it hard to eat other harami after trying this one. I thought the top loin was quite fatty, so I added an egg. A raw egg arrived. I was surprised that despite the amount of fat, it was not greasy and did not leave a bad feeling. Everything here is so delicious and I can't wait to go back!

I went hiking to Mt. Ura-Takao and got off at Tachikawa for some errands. After burning a lot of calories in the morning, I searched for a place to eat meat and found this place that was also featured in "The Lonely Gourmet" (though this is a branch, not the main store). I ordered the tongue, harami (skirt steak), and hormone. First, the beautifully cut tongue arrived. The restaurant boasted about not using frozen meat, and it was indeed fresh tongue. There was no smell or drippings when defrosted, and the crispy texture and juicy flavor spread in my mouth when I chewed it. Pure bliss. Next was the harami, also known as sagari. The slices were thick! It melts in your mouth as expected. It's so tender that it feels like my brain is melting too. Perfect for drinking. However, with the fatigue from the morning, I was heading towards the final stage. The last challenge was the hormone. While other places neatly line up the slices, here they were stacked on top of each other! And the slices were huge! Some might call it messy cutting, but for a commoner like me, this is clearly a great deal! Too good of a deal!!! I have found a restaurant worth going out of my way for. I can only look forward to the post-hike meals in the future. It was a night filled with delicious food. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant seemed high-end and elegant on food review websites, but it was actually quite greasy. The decor and chairs were sticky, similar to a chain like Ousho. It might be good for those who enjoy that kind of atmosphere! They don't offer rare cuts of meat. It's more about enjoying offal. They also serve thinly sliced kalbi and top sirloin that you sear yourself. The meat comes out frozen, giving it a all-you-can-eat barbecue vibe. The staff were chatting amongst themselves, making it hard to approach them. The cold noodles were also lacking in flavor. Maybe it would be better if it was cheaper...

I had been curious about Oshioen in Tachikawa for a while, so I decided to go on a Friday. It was crowded, so I went early. I ordered Kalbi, Harami, Tongue with Salt, and more. The Tongue with Salt was thick and had a good chew. The Kalbi was fatty but had a sweet flavor that went well with rice. The Harami had just the right amount of fat and was meaty, which I liked. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but it's reasonably priced, the staff are friendly, and I highly recommend this yakiniku restaurant.

Recently, I have been taking a one-hour train ride every month to visit this restaurant. On this day, I made a reservation with five of my colleagues from work. We ordered dishes such as seared liver, top tongue, top sirloin, top skirt, fillet, regular sirloin, tripe, miso tongue, and yukke udon. We missed taking some photos, but the seared liver we had first was amazing. For drinks, we had draft beer, black Kirishima bottle, and more. With a total of 8000 yen per person, the cost performance is incredible. I will definitely keep coming back!

I attended a regular gathering of the barbecue department at my workplace on Saturday at 5 pm with four colleagues. We visit this restaurant almost every month and are always impressed by the amazing barbecue and great value for money. This time, we ordered the usual items such as seared liver, premium tongue with salt, premium loin, premium skirt, fillet kalbi, premium tripe, and miso tongue, along with side dishes like kimchi and yukgaejang udon. The standout dish is definitely the seared liver. When dipped in sesame oil, it was fantastic. Another highlight was the premium loin, which was featured in "The Lonely Gourmet." When dipped in egg, it tasted like sukiyaki with a strong umami flavor. We paired our meal with draft beer and a bottle of Kuro Kirishima shochu, and the total cost was around 9,000 yen per person, making it great value for money. We plan to visit again next month. Looking forward to it already!

Today, I celebrated by dining at a famous yakiniku restaurant known for being featured in "The Solitary Gourmet." I ordered popular items like beef tongue, seared liver, and harami, along with bibimbap, cold noodles, and yukhoe bibimbap. Everything was delicious! However, the cost performance may be questionable. Thank you for the meal!

I took my business partner to an entertaining dinner with our clients. I had been wanting to come here for a while, but it was hard to get a reservation. Finally, after a few years, I was able to visit! I had been to the main branch in Komiya before, but this place had a different atmosphere. The unique liver dish was amazing!

I visited the "Yakiniku Daikoen Tachikawa Store," located a 5-minute walk from JR Tachikawa Station South Exit, with a business partner whom I haven't seen in a while. We made a reservation for 8:00 pm on a weekday, but the restaurant was full when we arrived. We were seated at a small table right by the entrance. The table was so small that when the people at the back needed to go to the restroom, the people at the front had to stand up and move to let them pass. The staff was very polite and took our order promptly, but unfortunately, the "Special Tongue" we wanted was sold out. So, we settled for the "Special Kalbi" as our second choice. My business partner mentioned that he couldn't eat Kalbi, so we ended up ordering regular Kalbi instead. The meats we ordered included Premium Tongue, Premium Harami, Chuck Kalbi, Premium Sirloin, Tripe, Skirt Meat, Namul, and Quail Egg Kimchi. Although we couldn't try the thick cuts of meat, the regular cuts were delicious enough. The restaurant was featured in "The Lonely Gourmet" a few years ago, and it has remained popular because of its delicious basic meats. The small and lively atmosphere may not be suitable for those looking for a quiet dining experience. Thank you for the meal. We will visit again.

I love yakiniku, and there is a restaurant that I visit regularly with some colleagues from work, and this is one of them. I have been to the main store in Komiya once, but lately I have been going to this one near the station. The main store was featured in "The Lonely Gourmet". Today, there were five of us and we sat in the loft on the second floor. We ordered kimchi, namul, garlic yakiniku, seared liver, premium tongue with salt, premium loin, premium harami, fillet kalbi, regular loin, various types of horumon, yukkejang noodles, yukkejang udon, and more. We also had beer and black mist bottles, and the average cost per person was 9000 yen, which is great. Today, I couldn't decide between the fillet kalbi and seared liver, but I think the best thing about this restaurant is the seared liver. I really want to keep coming back to this place.

Visited Oyokoen after a year. Arrived at 5:00 PM when they opened. Usually sit at the counter, but this time got a table. A group of two men next to us were talking about "Kodoku no Gurume." It's interesting how fans still visit to follow Goro-san's footsteps even years after the show aired. Our orders overlapped with theirs, which was amusing. Started with tongue as usual and enjoyed harami, hire, etc. Most items were about 100 yen more expensive compared to a year ago. The richness of the meat really stands out, especially as we get older. Rice is a must. For the second round, we had the upper loin sukiyaki-style with the leftover egg and sauce. Can't resist it! The group next to us was happily chatting over beer and bottle makgeolli, barely focusing on the yakiniku. The 1.5-hour time limit meant quick last orders. It's nice to enjoy some drinks, talk about "Kodoku no Gurume," eat some meat, and leave swiftly.

The counter seats have a wall in front, so you can enjoy yakiniku alone without feeling self-conscious. The thick-cut tongue was a bit difficult to cook through. The high-quality meat is good, but with such thick cuts, the fat can be overpowering. The liver was delicious with a sweet flavor when lightly seared.

Daikoen (located near Komiyama Station in Hachioji) is the main branch, but there is also one in Tachikawa. It's wonderful! The liver is very fresh and has a nice texture. So delicious! The tongue and harami are also great. This restaurant was featured on the show "The Lonely Gourmet." The thick-cut tongue is famous, but I prefer the thinner slices.

The best cost performance BBQ! The quality is amazing for this price! I came for the special tongue, but why is the top loin this price?! It was so delicious! I really wanted to bite into the special tongue as a whole, so I overcooked it and felt sad. But it was delicious... The price seems a bit high, but considering the quality and quantity, it's actually cheap! I want to come with about four people and eat a lot!
