I had a hot Hormone Sundubu (tofu stew) and Bibimbap (small) set for lunch on a hot day. You can choose the level of spiciness, but I went with the regular level. The simmering Sundubu wasn't very spicy, so maybe a bit more heat would have been nice. Hot Sundubu on a hot day!! Still, it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

After a cherry blossom drive, we stopped by at the request of my hungry husband. It was a new name for us, seemed like a chain restaurant. We selected our order from a ticket machine, got a buzzer, and then had to serve ourselves. It can be hectic if it's crowded, but luckily it wasn't too busy. I ordered the Hormone-Sun Tofu set with an extra raw egg because I was worried about the spiciness. The hormone was just okay, but the sun tofu was delicious.

I went to a restaurant called Kandon in Uzumasa at lunchtime. It's perfect for the cold winter as the food is piping hot. I ordered the Sundubu Horumon Ramen set with kimchi topping. I was also interested in the Kalbi Don, but I decided to try the Horumon Ramen this time. It was quite hot for someone like me who is sensitive to heat, but it was very delicious. I have been into spicy food since last year, and have used this place many times. I tried the basic plain tofu and white plain tofu, but the white one has no spiciness at all, so it is recommended for those who don't like spicy food. Personally, I prefer the basic plain tofu with a little extra spiciness. I especially like the hormone plain tofu, as the fat from the hormone adds more richness to the soup. It's great to warm up with spicy food in cold weather, but it's also quite enjoyable to taste a punch of spiciness in hot weather!
