My son's souvenir from his school trip is a snack. When I asked why he chose it, he said, "Because everyone else was buying it." Well, it must have been delicious since it's my son's souvenir, so I have to give it a perfect score of 5.0 points (laughs). These days, school trips send everything except hand luggage by courier, which seems convenient. On the second day, each group of 5 students rented a taxi and went to places they chose themselves. Seriously? And when I asked what they had for lunch, it turns out they went to Tenkaippin!! (surprised face) In Kyoto? The pocket money was 15,000 yen, excluding taxi fare. What a time to be alive, they even came back with 4,000 yen left over. Welcome back! It seems like you had a great time. Thank you for the souvenir.

Matcha soft serve! The sprinkle of matcha powder on top was pleasantly bitter and had a good aroma. The crispy texture of the Yatsuhashi and the hint of cinnamon added a nice touch, making it delicious. I also had the Kyoto Baumkuchen on a stick, which was good but also made my mouth dry. I preferred the matcha soft serve. Thank you for always reading my reviews! If you enjoyed it, please give it a like and save it as well. (≧∀≦)

Somehow, the shops near Kiyomizu Temple have an atmosphere that makes you want to buy things. When it comes to that, stomach's condition doesn't matter, and wallet's condition is even easier to ignore. So, when in Rome, do as the Romans do!!! This is a souvenir, a reward for myself♪ Oh, this one is perfect for the entrance♪ And this one is for the living room♪♪♪ Oh, Baumkuchen and ice cream combined into one, perfect for my stomach size♪ When at Kiyomizu Temple, follow the Kyoto Baum♪ It seems there was a saying like that... The appearance is what I liked the most♪ The taste was just average. Thank you for the meal♪

Matcha Baumkuchen is a staple at this dessert specialty store! Kyoto Baum has about four stores mainly in Kyoto, and is operated by a company called "Mito Co., Ltd." In addition to Kyoto Baum, there are affiliated stores such as the Langue de Chat specialty store "MIYUKA" and "Osaka Crispy Waffle," which are located in Tokyo and Osaka, totaling 14 stores. The nearest station to this store is Kiyomizu Gojo Station. The store is located near Kiyomizu-dera, and it takes about a 15-minute walk from the station to arrive. Kyoto Baum at Kiyomizu Shop is a Western confectionery store founded in October 2016, mainly offering Matcha Baumkuchen. The most popular menu item is the classic "Kyoto Baum"! Made with matcha and soy milk dough, it has a moist texture and a spread of matcha flavor in the mouth. The sweetness is also moderate, giving it an elegant taste. Additionally, the "Kyoto Baum Soft" and "Walking Baum" that are only sold at limited stores are also recommended! The Kyoto Baum Soft has Kyoto Baum laid under the cup, with soft serve ice cream on top. It's delightful to enjoy both the Kyoto Baum and soft serve ice cream at the same time. The soft serve ice cream comes in matcha, mix, or soy milk flavors, with a rich taste, and it tastes amazing when paired with Kyoto Baum. The "Walking Baum" is as its name suggests, with Kyoto Baum skewered on a stick, making it perfect for snacking while walking or sightseeing. Since Kyoto Baum Kiyomizu Shop also has a cafe, it is recommended to take a break at the cafe while buying souvenirs. 【Order】 ◇ Kyoto Baum Soft Mix 580 yen

The food at Tabearuki Kyoto Baamu was delicious, so my family and I enjoyed it. The gentle sweetness of the matcha and soy milk was perfect for both tea and coffee. Not only was it delicious, but the cute packaging makes it a great gift for anyone. It brought back nostalgic flavors. Thank you for the meal! ◎

A moist and fluffy Baumkuchen made with Uji matcha and Kyoto-produced soy milk. The sponge is made with Kyoto soy milk and 100% domestically produced wheat flour, while the matcha is blended with sencha to create a multi-layered dough. When you open the lid, the matcha fondant placed around the outer edge melts and seeps into the dough. It was so soft and fluffy that you could easily finish it without tea. It was a delightful Baumkuchen experience!

Located in Kyoto, this dessert costs ¥1296 and uses Uji matcha from Morihan, established in the 7th year of the Tenpo era. The layers of matcha, soy milk, and matcha look delicious and exciting from the moment you open it, with a delightful aroma. The matcha flavor upon tasting, along with the moist and soft texture, brings happiness. The sweetness is just right, elegant and not overpowering. I devoured it in no time. Thank you for the meal! While exploring around Kiyomizu-dera, we all enjoyed a Kyoto Baumkuchen parfait. It was filled with Kyoto sweets like matcha ice cream and Yatsuhashi. It was hot, we were hungry, and before we knew it, we had finished it all. After seeing Kiyomizu-dera, I visited this place on the way back. It is a specialty store for matcha sweets, perfect for souvenirs. I purchased the Kyoto Baum Soft, which allows you to enjoy both the matcha Baumkuchen and matcha ice cream, the shop's specialties, at the same time. The taste was amazing.

I tried Kyoto Baum while buying souvenirs. It had a blend of matcha and sencha, with a green and cream design. It was moist and delicious, with a sweet coating of matcha sugar on the outside. It was cute and popular among women. I also visited Kinkaku-ji and Kiyomizu-dera in Kyoto, where the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. The views were amazing, especially from the Kiyomizu stage. I also stopped by some souvenir shops and enjoyed the experience. Despite the busy schedule, I was satisfied with my Nara-Kyoto trip. I hope to visit Kyoto again in the future for a more leisurely trip.

Tasting Walk Kyoto Baam 292 yen A simple matcha-flavored baumkuchen with two bite-sized pieces on a stick, but the matcha chocolate on top is great! They don't seem to be offering samples now, so buying a whole Kyoto Baam is a bit much, but it seems like a good choice for those who want to try it out.

"Kyobam" specialty stores promoting the charm of Kyoto have three shops in Kyoto city! On this day, I visited the "Kyobam Kiyomizu Store" near Kiyomizu Temple to buy some souvenirs. I purchased "Kyobam," "Kyobam Sublime," and "Kyobam for Snacking." The store was bright and inviting, allowing for a leisurely shopping experience. They offer limited edition designs of Kyobam, different from the usual packaging. I tried the delicious Kyobam for snacking. The dough is made from Kyoto-produced soy milk and Japanese wheat flour, resulting in a soft texture. Layers of Uji matcha and roasted green tea are blended into the dough, making it absolutely delicious. Finally, I enjoyed the beautiful lighting of Kiyomizu Temple. I have attached a few photos for you to see. Enjoy!"

I tried Kyoto Baum cake for the first time as a souvenir from my trip to Kyoto. I had high expectations, but my first impression was "Hmm, it's too sweet." Well, it's a typical tourist souvenir, so I guess it's okay. There are many delicious foods in Kyoto, so I'll consider this one as well. It might be good for those who have a sweet tooth, like children. Thank you for the meal. I wonder if I'll be able to go leaf-peeping in Kyoto this year...

I had always wanted to try Kyoto baumkuchen at least once. It's sold in various places, but I could never find it when I wanted it. Finally, I was able to purchase it this time as a souvenir for my colleagues. It's a moist baumkuchen made by sandwiching soy milk between matcha-flavored layers and baking it. There were also sablé-like cookies available, but I chose the baumkuchen. With its outer matcha coating, soft and fluffy texture, and gentle flavor, it was even better than I had imagined. I think it's worth buying again as a souvenir.

[Kyobamu Shimizu Store] Located in Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto City, on the way to Kiyomizu Temple, where everywhere you look is filled with matcha gelato, matcha parfait, and matcha soft serve, I found a unique item that stood out with its freshness. The taste and texture were solid and delicious! Of course, they also had souvenirs, so I bought some. ✨

Kyoto Baum was chosen ☆ Partner, 3 sisters' business trip to Kyoto ☆ Thank you for the many souvenirs ☆ I have had Kyoto Baum many times, so I have eaten it many times (^^) The package designed with Baum looks somewhat like an eyeball father. It is very stylish and the box is well made, giving off a sense of luxury. Made with Uji matcha and Kyoto-produced soy milk, the Baum cake is baked multiple times, resulting in a very moist and fluffy matcha Baum cake ☆ Thank you very much ☆ It was delicious ☆

Kyoto Kiyomizu Temple "Kyobam Clear Water Store" is becoming a staple of Kyoto souvenirs! The store is located on the approach to Kiyomizu Temple. Despite the crowded approach, this shop gives the impression of being less crowded, perhaps due to its depth. There is also a take-out cafe corner at the back, offering soft serve ice cream, smoothies, and Kyoto-style baumkuchen. I purchased the limited edition autumn package exclusive to the Kyobam Kiyomizu store. It was my first time trying it, and I couldn't resist the limited edition. The baumkuchen had a balanced taste, not too much matcha flavor or sweetness. Thank you for the meal.

The cake consists of three layers: matcha green tea, soy milk, and matcha green tea. The fondant on the outside is also mixed with matcha. The sponge cake is moist with a unique chewy texture from the fondant. The packaging includes the name of the person who baked it.

There is a shop on the approach to Kiyomizu-dera. Recently, the Baumkuchen called "Kyobau" has become a popular souvenir. You can enjoy both the Baumkuchen and soft-serve ice cream at once. The soft-serve ice cream comes in matcha, soy milk, or mixed flavors. It is served on top of the Baumkuchen, which is quite sweet.

On the way to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, I got quite tired from walking so I decided to take a short break somewhere. I couldn't find a place at first but eventually ended up at a shop famous for Kyoto Baumkuchen. Feeling tired, I had some smoothies and soft serve ice cream, both in matcha flavor. The cold drinks were perfect for my tired body, not too sweet and just right. I also got to enjoy some Baumkuchen, which left me feeling satisfied.
