This is a newly opened restaurant that opened on September 23rd, and they are open all day, so I visited before 3pm to avoid the lunchtime crowd. The interior of the new store is beautiful, and I sat at the counter and looked at the menu. I ordered the "Hamburg Steak Set" (1,800 yen), which comes with three 60g hamburg steaks, rice, miso soup with plenty of seaweed and green onions, and a raw egg. The hamburg steaks are served rare, with the outer part grilled and the inside still pink. They are served on a hot iron plate, and each steak can be enjoyed with different toppings like sukiyaki sauce, garlic soy sauce, shariapin, seaweed salt with wasabi, and spicy oil. All the toppings are delicious, but my favorite is the seaweed salt with wasabi. The second steak is enjoyed with grated daikon radish and ponzu sauce, and I added some leftover seaweed salt on top. For the third steak, I placed it on top of rice, added wasabi, poured on the dashi broth, and enjoyed it as a rice bowl. The hamburg steaks are made with coarsely ground meat, so the meat flavor is rich. The portion size might be a bit small for some men, but the rice is refillable for free, and there are various toppings like fried garlic, spicy oil, meat furikake, and pickles, which can be combined in different ways for a fun dining experience.
