The place was packed with office workers. They offer a variety of set meals, including a popular Indian curry. I decided to try the "Katsu Toji Set Meal" for 850 yen. The atmosphere is nostalgic with cloth hand towels and ashtrays. The restaurant has been around since 1967 and is known for its beloved mother figure. The Katsu Toji was delicious, served in a hot pot with flavorful broth-soaked cutlet. The miso soup was light with fish cake slices. After finishing the meal, the motherly figure brought me a complimentary iced coffee. When I paid, she handed me the change in a unique way, making sure I didn't drop it. Truly a place cherished by many.

The set includes rice, salad, pickles, miso soup, and the main dish. There is also a raw egg provided, which can be used for tamago kake gohan. The tonkatsu was crispy and delicious, with a homey and stable flavor. The hamburger was tender and came with a sunny-side-up egg, making it very tasty. The portions are generous, making it particularly popular with male customers! After the meal, mama kindly served us coffee. Although it started as a pure coffee shop, it now feels more like a set meal restaurant. I hope this heartwarming and nostalgic coffee shop will remain for a long time.
