The appeal of this place is being able to enjoy a spacious and luxurious morning surrounded by greenery. While the shop refers to it as "breakfast," as a resident of Nagoya, I prefer to call it "morning." For more details, please see below. Make a reservation in advance through the official website. The day before, I received a thoughtful phone call asking, "Is there anything we can help you with?" which made me excited to visit. I arrived early and decided to wait for the opening while strolling through DAIKANYAMA T-SITE, enjoying the greenery and the dogs. As people started lining up before the opening, I joined the line about 5 minutes before. When the shop opened, those who had made reservations were seated first. However, since the number of seats was quite large and there weren't that many people lining up, it seems that you won't have to wait long if you arrive before the opening. The spacious interior was bathed in morning sunlight, creating a very pleasant atmosphere, and the staff greeted everyone, which was lovely. The items I ordered were Ivy Breakfast Pancake Collaboration Plate with Fried Egg or Scrambled Egg, Honey Syrup or Maple Syrup for 2,300 yen, and Seasonal Smoothie with Kale and Kiwi Fruit for 900 yen. First, the smoothie was served. The acidity of the kiwi was refreshing, and there was no vegetable-like taste, making it easy to drink. The homemade dried lemon fruits added texture and additional acidity, making it enjoyable. I felt healthier from drinking it in the morning. And then the pancake plate. It's hard to tell from the photo, but it was a pretty large plate, with sausages as big as bananas. The pancakes were on the chewy side. However, they seemed a bit dry, possibly from sitting for a while. The uniquely shaped butter had a simple milky taste on its own, but when combined with the pancakes, it transformed into a rich and intense flavor reminiscent of wildness. At first, I thought it had the taste of processed meat (bacon or sausage) even after wiping it, but that was the flavor. When topped with mineral-rich maple syrup, it became a rich dessert on its own. The bacon was crispy and the sausage was juicy. The fried egg had a fluffy white and a slightly runny yolk that was rich in flavor. The vegetables were in moderate amounts, but they were very flavorful and fresh without any bitterness, which was nice. It was a very luxurious breakfast. However, as a Nagoya resident, paying over 3,000 yen for a morning meal felt quite expensive. Also, while the phone service was polite, the on-site service was quite cold or indifferent. The air conditioning was quite strong, making it harsh for the body that had been chilled by the smoothie.
