Located along National Route 178, this shop can be hard to spot with only a small coffee sales store sign as its marker. Even if you know the location, you might easily pass by it. It is located opposite the NTT Docomo Shop Amino, so that could be a good reference point. The parking lot seems to fit around a dozen cars in front of the shop, but every time I pass by, it's always full. I've never been able to park there. This time, I was lucky to find a spot. Upon entering, there are a few sofa seats in the waiting area on the left, and about 10 tables for 2-6 people each on the left and right sides inside the not-so-spacious shop. So, with a parking lot that can accommodate nearly 20 cars being full... it seems clear that they are not all customers' cars. If you are in a group, it would be best to carpool. It would help the shop a lot to have as many customers as possible during this pandemic, wouldn't it? Now, let's look at the menu and see what we have. I ordered the B set, which includes an Italian hamburger. The set includes a pre-meal drink, appetizer, soup, salad, main dish, rice or bread, and a post-meal drink, all for 1330 yen (excluding tax)... Isn't that a great deal? Let's wait and see. First, the pre-meal drink arrived. You can choose between oolong tea or a glass of wine. I chose oolong tea and waited for it to be served. Then, the appetizer, soup, and main dish were brought out at a good timing. The appetizer was a bit disappointing. It seemed like roast beef, but in hot weather, I would have preferred a softer, room temperature roast beef. The soup was a purple sweet potato potage, with a natural sweetness that was quite satisfying. It had a good amount of soup, providing a hearty meal. Next up was the main dish, the hamburger, which surprised me with its size! It was flat, not thick, but bigger than my palm! However, it had a simple visual appearance. Let's try it. The hamburger had a moderate elasticity, and despite being thin, the balance of cheese and sauce was excellent. The demi-glace sauce was a delightful surprise, with a slight bitterness that added a grown-up flavor. Underneath the hamburger, there was corned beef, broccoli, and potatoes hidden. The slightly rich seasoning complemented the rice well. The rice itself was excellent, with a shiny appearance, a mild sweetness, a subtle aroma, and a moderate stickiness, making it very delicious. It was made using Koshihikari rice from Kyotango. I forgot to take a photo of the rice because I was overwhelmed by the hamburger. Just as I was finishing up, they brought out iced tea, which was a refreshing way to end the meal. It was delicious... I never knew there was such a tasty Western-style restaurant in Kyotango. It must be quite famous. I saw license plates from Shiga and Sakai, so it must be popular. I bet their individual dishes are also delicious. The thick-cut pork sauté sounds tempting. Next time, I might try an individual dish. I enjoyed the meal. Thank you.
