I went to Minato YuYu. It's always popular even on weekdays for some reason. There is also a Silver Plan for people aged 60 and above, which is affordable for staying, so there are quite a few elderly people. After checking in, I went to my room. There are two types of rooms, Western style and Japanese style. The Western style room has a bed, but the toilet is still the wheelchair-accessible toilet from before Minato YuYu was renovated. Also, the room is divided into two parts, and one of the rooms is not very convenient to use, so I ended up staying in the room with the bed. The Western style room might be good for people using wheelchairs. The Japanese style room has an 8-tatami mat area plus a veranda. The futon will be laid out while you are having your meal. The toilet is clean and of a normal size. I think the Japanese style room is good for families. I ate traditional Japanese sweets while watching TV in the room, took a little break, and then went downstairs for dinner. Dinner is served from 6 pm, and you can stay until the last serving time if you want. The meal is a buffet with all-you-can-eat options. The menu varies depending on the season. In spring, there is a strawberry fair, in summer, there are more seafood options, and in winter, there is crab, which is quite pricey. I wouldn't recommend it during the crab season. In other seasons, there are various dishes lined up in small portions, and the variety is very rich. You can have freshly made sushi in front of you, or have meat grilled for you, so you can enjoy freshly cooked dishes. After dinner, I went to the bath. Before going to the bath, I chose a yukata on the second floor. Compared to other Kajitsu-en group yukatas, it has been used quite a bit, but it fits the body very well (laughs). The bath is also on the first floor. In summer, there are many families with children returning from the beach, so sometimes the floor of the changing room is full of sand, so be careful. The bath is spacious, and there is also an outdoor bath. Breakfast is also on the first floor, like dinner. It's a buffet from 7:30 am to 9 am with all-you-can-eat options. The breakfast menu is also very rich, with both Japanese and Western options. It's perfect for chatting with friends or families with children.
