I inputted the number of people and preferred seating on a tablet to get a number and waited. Since I was seated at the counter, I only had to wait about 10 minutes before being seated. I ordered the lunch special of 10 pieces for 1,500 yen! They made the sushi right in front of me, which was amazing. The quality of the tuna and other fish was decent considering the price. Overall, I think it was a great value for the money.

There are 5-6 chefs at the restaurant, and each one has a different way of preparing and serving sushi, so the taste of the sushi varies depending on the chef. In my opinion, only about 2 of the chefs can earn a perfect score of 10 for every sushi they make. Unfortunately, customers cannot choose their chef, so sitting in front of one of those top chefs is a great joy. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

If you communicate your preferences, you'll be satisfied with the heartfelt dishes. They don't use frozen ingredients, and offer good value with a performance similar to Gion sushi restaurants. The interior is not very spacious, but it is clean and has a refreshing, calm atmosphere where you can enjoy your meal slowly. The menu I ordered today was: - Assorted sushi for 1620 yen - "Kiwami" set for 2916 yen - Chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) for 540 yen - Otoro (fatty tuna) nigiri for 540 yen. I enjoyed my sushi meal quickly! Being directly connected to Kyoto Station, it seems that there are many tourists as well. They also offer lunch, so I will visit again. Thank you for the meal!

Kyoto gets cold and warm, and at the entrance of Kyoto, on the top of Kyoto Station, 11th floor of Isetan. I don't go there often. It's mostly elderly people and school trip students. Sushi is not for middle school students, and it's from Tsukiji! There are many chefs, each counter is well-staffed! I had about 10 pieces for around 1500 yen for lunch. I was surprised by the large sweet shrimp! There were many people drinking from noon, it's a good life! If you're looking for a place with no disappointments, I recommend it!

Today, there was an event at the station building, so there was quite a wait. Finally, I was able to enter the shop, and luckily there was a table available. I ordered the "Lunch Sushi Set for 1540 yen including tax." I often order the lunch sushi set. It comes with 11 pieces of sushi and red miso soup for this price. I have a discount from Isetan, so I get 10% off this price. It's more than enough. I ordered and left in less than 30 minutes. It's perfect for everyday use. Oh, it was delicious.

Under the state of emergency in Kyoto, I decided to have dinner today by getting off at a random station. I was in the mood for some fish, so I visited Tsukiji Sushisei for the first time. Even though the market has moved from Tsukiji to Toyosu, I still feel like the main store is in Tsukiji. I ordered the seasonal course and a few sushi rolls, along with a non-alcoholic beer, and it cost around 5000 yen. The sushi here is different from the conveyor belt sushi. The tuna rolls and mackerel were so delicious, I realized that this is the real deal. The course also came with a small chawanmushi and dessert, which made me happy. What was interesting was when I ordered the non-alcoholic beer, they offered me Sapporo and Kirin to choose from. I did a taste comparison and surprisingly found a noticeable difference in taste. Personally, I preferred Sapporo because it had a nice malt sweetness to it. Nevertheless, I still can't wait to drink a regular beer.

I have been to the Ginza and Hakuhinkan branches before, but I felt like the quality was slightly lower and the chefs forgot some of our orders. Maybe it's due to the regional differences. The white fish, red fish, and shellfish were all delicious. The octopus and golden eye snapper were particularly tasty. The squid was just okay. The sushi rice was well-made, and the chefs were skilled at shaping the sushi. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. The atmosphere was nice, although the service at the table seating was a bit chaotic. It might be better to have experienced staff handle the table seating during busy times. The food was delicious, thank you for the meal.

Isetan Kyoto Store houses Tsukiji Sushi Sei Tsukiji, a restaurant where you can also eat in Tokyo, but it is a popular spot with fresh ingredients and long queues! They offer a wide variety of sushi assortments, but the real charm for me is sitting at the counter and ordering individual pieces✖️✨I enjoy asking about the day's fresh ingredients and eating them. They also have a great selection of sake, so I indulged in some sake from lunchtime. The sushi is fresh and delicious. It's a great option for before or after arriving at Kyoto Station!
