The hamburger lunch set took about 20 minutes to be served. When it arrived, it was a huge portion! It had a bowl full of rice with a half-cooked egg on top and a hamburger the size of a man's fist! It was incredibly voluminous! It also came with miso soup and salad, and the salad had a homemade miso and mayonnaise dressing on top. It was delicious! The hamburger had a homemade taste, not too greasy, and not very juicy. It was more dense and firm than fluffy. Personally, I wish it had a bit more meat juice overflowing! After the meal, I had herbal tea and a mini parfait with strawberries and rare cheesecake. It was refreshing with plenty of strawberries and the perfect match of rare cheesecake and strawberries! The base was made of whipped cream, rare cheesecake, and strawberry jam, so it was quite sweet, perfect for those with a sweet tooth! The restaurant had private tatami rooms, table seats, and even seats downstairs, so it could accommodate around 30 people! I visited Daimaru Shoyu Cafe. It is a cafe run by a long-established soy sauce shop founded in 1908. It is famous for being featured on a TV show called "Before After". This was my first visit in about 8 years. It was still crowded as usual, but I was lucky to get in without waiting. I ordered the lunch set with domestic beef croquette. The croquette had a homemade taste and came with a generous portion of rice. It was more filling than I expected. The salad was plentiful and the tender domestic beef tendon bowl was also quite delicious. The prices were 1,300 yen and 1,280 yen respectively. They checked our temperature upon entering and the staff were all wearing masks and there was hand sanitizer available. It seemed like they had taken all the necessary measures against COVID-19.
