Located a little away from the hustle and bustle of the street, this is a high-quality izakaya. It's surprising to find such a delicious restaurant in a place like this. The menu is extensive, but the dashi broth is the highlight. The gentle dashi broth always makes me crave it after a few days. The owner is modest and laid-back, but very friendly, while the hostess is charming, so the restaurant is always full of regular customers. It's a great restaurant that feels almost too good for everyday use, but the prices are very reasonable. With a wide selection of shochu and sake, it's a place where you can truly enjoy yourself.

It was my first visit to this place. The interior has a long counter and a raised seating area. There is a wide selection of shochu lined up on the shelf. The variety of alcohol options makes it hard to choose. When I ordered sake, it was poured into a square cup until it was almost overflowing, showing the surface tension at its limit. This kind of performance is enjoyable for drinkers. The sashimi was fresh and shiny. I ordered a variety of dishes, all of which were delicious with just the right amount of seasoning. I want to sit at the counter next time.

I go there about once a month. It's always crowded until around 8 pm, so I go later, around 9 pm. There are many regular customers and the atmosphere is nice. The exterior of the restaurant looks expensive and intimidating, but it's actually a welcoming place. The sashimi is delicious, and the simmered dishes are also tasty. So far, I haven't had anything bad here! The service and cost performance are good. The sake is reasonably priced too! I will continue to visit this place in the future.

A friend's family who lives near the restaurant took us there during our visit to Kyoto. The restaurant was busy, with the counter almost full and two large groups in the back rooms. We were seated in the farthest room thanks to our friend's reservation. The restaurant seemed to be run by just three people and everyone, including the groups, was having a great time. We enjoyed dishes like raw saury, pike conger tempura, potato manju, boiled edamame with salt, and stingray fin, followed by a hot pot with pork instead of whale meat. The finale, a single serving of rice porridge, was outstanding. The menu was extensive with diverse daily specials, and the fact that such a great restaurant is near my home is wonderful. They also have a wide selection of shochu and offer a keep service (as my friend's parents use it). The prices for each dish seemed reasonable. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again. It is located along a main road, possibly in a residential area near Nishikyogoku. The total bill for five people was around 14,000 yen on this day. Affordable!

It's always crowded with regular customers, a popular restaurant. The course meal with all-you-can-drink option is served with each dish coming separately, so there's no need to share (except for the hot pot which is shared). It's easy to enjoy the meal. The course content changes every time I go and it's always delicious. The aji grilled with salt was delicious and cheap. Soft drinks like juice are also very cheap, which is helpful. The only inconvenience is that there is no public transportation nearby. I will definitely go eat there again.

Two men. Three drinks. Ate until full, and it cost 5800 yen. Reasonable price. Delicious food. They also have a decent selection of alcohol. I think they had about 8 types of sake. Tasty. Today they had 3 types of fish. Maybe they don't always have that many. Many customers seem to be regulars. We had assorted sashimi, dice steak, sea bream with miso marinade, fresh spring rolls, simmered bamboo shoots, conger eel tempura, and fire roll. The fire roll had plenty of tuna and was delicious. Will definitely go again.
