This is the Matsui Yamate branch of the revolving sushi chain "Hamazushi". I visited around 11 o'clock on a Sunday. I was able to enter smoothly at 11 o'clock, but by the time I finished eating, there were many customers waiting. The restaurant is located near Matsui Yamate Station, but it is not facing the main street of Yamate Kansen and is located a little south of the main street. The exterior of the store is the basic form of a suburban Hamazushi store, with a parking lot available. Inside the store, the entrance area serves as a waiting area. There are table seats and counter seats lined up, creating a clean and comfortable atmosphere. The reception at the table is mainly done through a machine, so there is no face-to-face interaction, but the payment is done face-to-face. The service from the staff was polite. On this day, I ordered the following items: Rich! Creamy Shrimp Tomato Pasta priced at 506 yen including tax. The appearance of this menu looks quite expensive. The creamy shrimp tomato sauce looks rich with plenty of sauce. It comes with two whole shrimp and parsley powder. The pasta is cooked just right with a firm texture and a good bite. The soup has a burst of shrimp aroma at first, and you can enjoy the rich flavor of shrimp when mixed with the pasta. The tomato flavor is also decent, creamy, and leaves a lingering aftertaste. The two whole shrimp add a satisfying eating experience. I think it was a pasta worth the price. Scallop, Grilled Sanma, Pickled Firefly Squid, Black Seabream The scallop is from Hokkaido and has a large, good texture with a satisfying bite. The grilled Sanma is also from Hokkaido, with a good amount of fat and a soft texture, which was nice. The pickled firefly squid has a rich umami flavor and seems to go well with sake. Large Seared Kinu Gizzard Shad, Fresh Flounder Fisherman's Pickled, Natural Bluefin Tuna Tataki Sushi The large seared Kinu Gizzard Shad is from Miyagi Prefecture, and although it doesn't have much searing, it has a good amount of fat, juicy, good texture, and makes you want to eat more. The fisherman's pickled fresh flounder was also large and good. This was my first visit to Hamazushi's Matsui Yamate branch, but with the cleanliness of the store, a wide range of menu options at reasonable prices, I thought it was a store that I would like to visit again.
