I had been curious about the calm atmosphere of the restaurant visible from the outside for a while. I thought that since the name of the restaurant includes "beer," the beer must be delicious, and I was right. The beer was delicious, making me feel happy with the first sip. Additionally, the dishes that go well with beer helped to speed up the drinking pace.

A few minutes' walk from Kyoto City Hall Station and Sanjo Station. I stopped by here today. The interior of the store is much larger than it looks from the outside. As the name suggests, the main focus is on Super Dry, along with Asahi drinks and food that goes well with beer. So, I ordered the Super Dry Extra Cold with sauerkraut and fish & chips. Let's dig in! First, the Super Dry Extra Cold arrived. It was in excellent condition, with a perfect temperature and fine bubbles, making it a delicious draft beer. Next up was the sauerkraut. I thought it would be a cold dish, but I chose the warm option. However, when warm, the acidity was quite strong, so the cold version was definitely tastier. The fish & chips had a slightly heavy and somewhat bland taste. This place seems more like a spot for enjoying beer rather than food. Overall, it was a satisfying meal! If you're looking for delicious beer, this place has it. Personally, I found that it's better to enjoy a light snack with beer rather than a heavy meal.

On December 26, 2022, Monday, just before 6 o'clock, I visited the restaurant with my boss without a reservation. After a short wait, we were seated at a table, and the restaurant was almost full. When it comes to beer halls near Kawaramachi, this is the place to go! We ordered the 2-hour all-you-can-drink course and just drank beer non-stop! For food, we had edamame and fried chicken, which were delicious. The beer at the beer hall is really good because the foam is fine and smooth. We drank steadily and finished with the last order at 1 hour and 45 minutes. We left after 2 hours.

It was a hot day just before noon, and after being turned away from several full restaurants, I didn't have high hopes but wanted to have a beer, so I came to this place. I had to wait a bit for a seat to be prepared. Within 5 minutes, the place was full and many people were waiting in line. I ordered an extra beer, but while the first sip was good, the rest didn't taste great. I should have just gone with a regular one. The food was okay. You can order dishes like fried chicken and sausages by the number, which is good. When I cut into the fried chicken, I noticed some blood, so I told the staff. The manager came over and handled the situation very well. It might have been the first time I've received such good service in Kyoto. They must have good training. Excellent.

We went to a banquet. The plan was to go to a beer garden, but we couldn't get a reservation, so we changed to a beer hall. This time, we had a party at Asahi Beer Hall. When we entered the restaurant, the air conditioning was working well, better than the beer garden. We had a 2-hour course with all-you-can-drink. Started with draft beer, which was a large amount for the first drink, so it ran out quickly. The second drink was a half-and-half, which was easy to drink with a nice aroma and sweetness. The food started with appetizers, followed by fried chicken, sausages, meat dishes, and pasta. Our stomachs were full. Drink beer, stomach gets full, eat, definitely full.

However, it seems that my companion's work is not finished yet. Even though our senior invited us, they lack motivation. Feeling irritated, I decided to come here alone to kill time. Drinking beer bathed in the setting sun is energizing for tomorrow.

I came to Kyoto to play and first had ramen. After that, I plan to watch Tom Cruise's movie "Top Gun: Maverick," but I still have some time, so I decided to have a drink at this restaurant. I felt like trying Asahi's Marueff, which I sometimes buy at the convenience store and drink at home. "Are you two? We have a two-person table available, please come this way." Just then, "Oh, wait a moment. A four-person table just opened up. Please wait a bit longer!" I was planning to just have a glass of draft beer and leave, but now I felt like I should order some food to go with it. (laughs) I was led to a four-person table, and I ordered the Marueff Black draft beer as planned. Wow, it's delicious! Professional quality is definitely different. Even though it's the same Asahi Marueff, it's completely different from drinking at home. (laughs) So, I decided to choose a light snack. As expected of Asahi Super Dry. The menu of authentic dishes was extensive, and I momentarily felt tempted, but I just had ramen earlier, and if I eat a lot here, I won't be able to eat dinner later. (^^;; I ordered some prosciutto as a light snack. For some reason, I also added a lime shochu highball. (laughs) It was a bit too fancy for just a casual drink. I will visit again next time to enjoy it more leisurely.

I had decided to bring my senior to this place as the first stop in Kyoto. The menu here is structured to pair well with beer. Everything I tried was delicious and reasonably priced. We started with the prosciutto salad today, and the prosciutto was really tasty. The fried chicken is the most popular dish here, and my senior was also delighted with it.

When you come to Kyoto, this is the first place you should visit! The quality of the beer is so different that it makes you wonder if it's the same as the one you always drink? The snacks that go well with it are also of high quality. I took a picture before eating the fried chicken that I always order! Lunchtime is quite a good deal! I will end up getting drunk from the afternoon onwards.

One of the enjoyable shops to visit in Kyoto! This beer hall is directly operated by Asahi Beer, so it's no surprise that the beer is delicious. But more than that, the snacks are incredibly tasty. Among them, the fried chicken is outstanding. I always want to eat it quickly and forget to take a picture, so today I am posting a salad and yakisoba with a thick sauce.

A drinking place on Kawaramachi Street run by Asahi where you can enjoy delicious beer from daytime. They offer unique drinks like coffee beer with a bitter taste and a great coffee aftertaste. The food menu is also diverse with sausages that pair well with beer.

It was the perfect place for day drinking. I always stop by during lunchtime when I'm in Kawaramachi because I can enjoy fresh Super Dry beer. On this day, I had fried chicken and oysters while savoring the beer. I was able to spend a happy afternoon on my day off.

The store was spacious!!! Besides beer, there were other drinks available so even non-drinkers can go ( ◜︎◡︎◝︎ ) The staff was cute ( ◜︎◡︎◝︎ ) and the clothes were cute too ( ◜︎◡︎◝︎ ) The restroom was downstairs? The chicken karaage was big!!! There were seats on a kind of 1.5th floor and it was around 4 pm but there were other customers too ( ˆ꒳ˆ )

The beef tongue, cheese, sausage, potato, steak... and other dishes that go well with alcohol were all delicious, making the drinks go down even smoother. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, the service was great, and despite being busy, our orders were quickly brought to our table. We had a very pleasant dinner time. Visited on a Sunday around 1 pm. At the entrance, they checked temperature, provided hand sanitizer, and properly separated tables from each other. All staff members were wearing masks. Most customers were drinking beer, but it wasn't too noisy. The staff members seemed to be the most energetic. They were having an Ehime Fair until April 30th, and they also had Kyoto tofu on the menu. I tried the Ehime-produced sea bream carpaccio with wasabi sauce. I usually don't like the crunchy texture of raw sea bream, but this one was surprisingly soft and tender. The wasabi flavor was a bit weak for my taste. I also ordered fish and chips, which came with one piece of white fish, fried potatoes, lemon, tartar sauce, and malt vinegar. The white fish had a subtle flavor, and I enjoyed the malt vinegar. The place was always crowded, and it was a bit challenging to place additional orders due to the large number of customers. The biggest downside was the slow service for drinks. Even a glass of water took a long time to arrive.

I suddenly felt very thirsty, so I happened to pass by this restaurant and went in with no hesitation. The first drink was delicious! It was pure bliss. I originally planned to just have one drink, but ended up ordering dinner as well because I was also hungry. Everything I ordered went well with beer and was delicious. The spacious interior of the restaurant was also very calming. I will definitely visit again when I get thirsty.

I recently visited a beer hall that I hadn't been to in a while. The interior was so cute and the waitresses' uniforms were adorable. As soon as I walked in, I saw a large beer barrel which got me really excited. I started with a draft beer, they had a variety of beers from around the world but I chose the Extra Gold. It took a bit longer to come but when it did, it was so refreshing and went down smoothly. The foam was beautiful and the beer was ice cold, which was perfect. I was planning to try other beers but the Extra Cold was so delicious that I ended up ordering the same for my second drink. We only shared one sausage for food as we had dinner plans later, but it went really well with the beer. Having beer for lunch was the best!

Beer lovers! This is a great place, especially for fans of Super Dry beer. During happy hour, you can enjoy all draft beers for 500 yen, so it's recommended to go at that time! They also have craft beers available, so you can enjoy various flavors. As for the food, many items may seem a bit pricey, but overall it's neither good nor bad. I think this is the perfect place for those who just want to enjoy beer.

I had been on a long break due to Corona, but when I passed by, the restaurant was open! And until 7/31, draft beer is only 390 yen! So I had to go! I ordered seared sirloin steak with grilled vegetables... The beef was so tender and easy to eat without any toughness. It seemed to be charcoal-grilled as it had a strong aroma. I also had Chorizo & Spicy Potato Fries - a mountain of fries topped with five small chorizos. In addition, I ordered a small size of "Crispy Dried Squid and Daikon Radish Salad" and of course, some fried chicken. The "Crispy Dried Squid and Daikon Radish Salad" may not look flashy, but I like its refreshing taste with Japanese-style dressing. I appreciate that they offer small sizes of some menu items on weekdays, as I like to try a variety of dishes. The seating arrangement was spaced out and I was happy that I could drink from noon onwards!
