The Komeda Coffee shop in Kyo-tanabe Mitsuyamaki is very popular, with a full parking lot being the main difference from other stores. The coffee and mini shiro noir were delicious as always.

In the morning, I tried to use the toilet at the nearest station from my house, but it was quite bad so I gave up. There were 2 squat toilets out of 3, which was not ideal for me. So, I decided to search for an unfamiliar Komeda Coffee shop and headed to Kyotanabe. The mission was completed successfully. Even though there were only 2-3 trains per hour on the nearby Kintetsu Kyoto Line, the shop was bustling with customers. I ordered my usual cream coffee for 550 yen plus a Morning C set (Nagoya specialty ogura bean) without syrup and with soft serve ice cream on the side. The taste was consistent and delicious as always. Thank you for the meal. On a side note, there was a waiting board inside the shop with names written in katakana, and the staff took turns reading them aloud. There was a name that they couldn't read, so they asked the customers for help. Eventually, it turned out that the group with that name was outside the shop. It was interesting to see their reaction when they found out. Lastly, the handwriting was not difficult to read, it was just a normal style. The distinction between "ji" and "zu" can be tricky, but in this case, it was clear that "ji" was the correct choice.

I had already eaten before coming here, but due to time constraints, I had to split my meal into two parts. I arrived an hour late for the first part, so I decided to have dessert here. The restaurant was more than half full, but I found an empty seat. I ordered the limited edition Shinowa Roiro with Setouchi lemon in mini size. It had a refreshing taste that didn't overpower with sweetness. I also ordered a melon soda to go with it and was satisfied. However, I noticed they had shaved ice on the menu and decided to order that as well! I heard that Komeda Coffee's shaved ice is quite large, so I ordered the mini size. When it arrived, the server mentioned that the regular size is quite a challenge even for men. I topped my grape shaved ice with soft serve ice cream and condensed milk. It turned out to be a regular size, but I managed to finish it deliciously. As the ice melted, the flavor could have become bland, but there was a jelly-like syrup at the bottom that kept it tasty until the end. I look forward to trying their main dishes next time!

In December 2019, I visited and reviewed a coffee chain store with a rating of 3.04 on Tabelog. One of the most popular coffee chains right now is Komeda Coffee, originally from Nagoya but expanding rapidly in the Kansai region. I have visited a few times for work, but this review is my first. Today, I had some time before my appointment, so I just ordered a simple coffee. They select 4 types of beans and roast them to bring out their unique flavors, then blend them in their own way. They warm the cup to the same temperature as the coffee (about 80°C) before serving, and the cups are Arita ware. There are a lot of details and care put into their coffee. When I tried it, it had a good balance of bitterness and a hint of acidity, with a deep flavor and richness. Quite delicious! It tastes even better after learning about the process. Their morning set until 11 am includes toast with a drink, so it's a good deal. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Komeda Coffee for the first time and I didn't know the portion size would be so big. I also didn't know that it would come with beans. The pork cutlet had a satisfying texture and was delicious.

I don't usually go to Komeda, but I liked that the smoking area was isolated and didn't smell like smoke.

What can I say, a very satisfying taste. Harmony of warmth and coldness. Totally satisfied‼️ Ordered the Chocolate Mont Blanc. This is truly an adult taste (^^) Mild sweetness, bitter❗️

Shironoir is delicious.

I had dinner nearby and then stopped by. The relaxed and chill atmosphere at Komeda is always good!

I challenged the Shironoir. I was hungry, so I finished it easily. It certainly has a good amount of volume, but when you eat it with the soft serve on top, it's delicious. I'm torn between whether to pour maple syrup on it at the beginning or pour it as I eat.

It is also just a few minutes away from the JR Katamachi Line. On this day, I had a meeting in Sanbayama starting at 10:00, but I arrived earlier than expected and decided to stop by this restaurant near the station. It is a full-service establishment with both smoking and non-smoking sections. I chose the non-smoking area. The restaurant mainly consists of booth seating. They provided me with a wet towel and water, which was much appreciated. The wet towel is very handy in both hot and cold weather. I ordered a blend coffee and the buttered toast with boiled egg set. I enjoyed the crispy toast and boiled egg while going through some documents, passing the time with my coffee for about 30 minutes. We took a coffee break at Komeda Coffee located on the north side of Kintetsu Misakigi Station with my wife. We had some free time and decided to relax at the cozy Komeda. We had to wait for about 5 minutes for a non-smoking table. We ordered two cups of blended coffee for 420 yen each and one mini shiro noir for 400 yen. It was a nice way to enjoy coffee on a holiday afternoon. After having a hearty lunch following a game of tennis, sharing the mini shiro noir with my wife was just right. The smooth soft serve ice cream combined with the crispy pie crust always delights us. The coffee was not too bitter or acidic, making it easy to drink. It's convenient that there is a parking lot available even though it's close to the station. May 28, 2017.

I was wandering around the Kyotanabe area yesterday. I was planning to go to Pinocchio, but had to give up due to an accident. While driving on Route 24, I saw the sign for Komeda Coffee Kyotanabe Mitsuyamaki, so I searched for it on my navigation system. It wasn't too far from Nittanabe Station. It started hailing heavily on the way. It was so cold. The shop is clean. Since Komeda is a franchise, the menu is almost the same. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and my wife ordered the gratin. They were both huge. The staff at this shop is good. They are polite and kind. Komeda Coffee Kyotanabe Mitsuyamaki and the Hirakata Higashi shop are good. The atmosphere is comfortable. The customers are quiet, maybe because they are students from Doshisha University. It's not a quiet space, but it's relaxing. The grilled chicken sandwich may be a bit difficult to eat because the juice drips, but it is filling. As for the gratin... I couldn't quite figure out the taste. It felt like the cheese flavor was overpowering. Nevertheless... my wife at Kawauchiya is always in a state where she has to eat the "Mini Shironoir" at Komeda. How much are you going to eat...

The coffee cup logo is nice. This store seems to have recently opened, but there is nothing around it. Sirop Noir! Black syrup? However, "rop" is not pronounced as "ro" in French. Not sure what kind of syrup it is. = molasses. Black honey? Made-up word? Black castle? Black and white? If so, why not Blanc Noir? It seems to be a made-up word when I looked it up on wiki. Warm pancakes with cold soft serve, contrasting black Danish pastry and white soft serve, combined the Japanese word for white ("Shiro") and the French word for black ("Noir") for the name. Well, the origin is good, but the name is a bit intriguing. It's quite delicious, so it might be good. I think the soft serve cream instead of whipped cream is nice. It's light despite the volume. A generous blend of coffee, which seems out of place for a coffee shop, in a large cup like a Japanese-style Starbucks cup, is interesting. The taste is nostalgic. And for some reason, they come with "beans." The store had a very family restaurant feel, which I thought was nice. I wish there were more of these in town.

This is a review of a Komeda Coffee shop located near Sankyamiki Station on the Kintetsu and JR lines. I visited this day wanting to take it easy and try the Komeda Katsu Burger, which I had never had before. The exterior of the shop has the typical Komeda look, with a large sign that makes it easy to spot. There is a parking lot in front of the station, which was quite full, indicating that it is a busy shop. The inside of the shop is spacious with many table seats. I visited during lunchtime, slightly off peak hours, yet it was almost full. The service was very good. The menu offers coffee ranging from 400 to 600 yen, as well as sandwiches, burgers, salads, gratin, pizza, and mini plates. On this day, I ordered a large iced coffee (1.5 times) for 500 yen and a Miso Katsu Sandwich for 780 yen. They asked if I would like to add mustard to the sandwich, and I agreed. The iced coffee came in a quite large cup, and it was served with a small plate of beans. The Miso Katsu Sandwich was huge! It's hard to tell from the photos, but it was quite substantial, equivalent to about two Big Macs in size. I have been into cold brew coffee lately, but the iced coffee here was surprisingly rich in flavor. The Miso Katsu Sandwich had a delicious miso flavor with a spicy mustard kick. The thick cutlet made for a satisfying meal, with the bread and cabbage adding to the overall experience. The meat was crispy and had a decent amount of fat, making it very satisfying. Komeda is popular for its morning menu, but their lunch and dinner options also seem quite satisfying with their generous portions. I would like to visit again when I have the chance to leisurely enjoy their menu.

After coffee, I headed over to another place nearby. They were playing Mogeta music, and I found out they were going to start painting soon.
