We stayed at a traditional inn for a company seminar with 35 participants, for 1 night and 2 days. Although it was labeled as a "guesthouse," it was actually a prestigious old-fashioned ryokan with a charming atmosphere and excellent hospitality. The dinner was a banquet with delicious dishes served in a large hall, making it a delightful and enjoyable experience. The breakfast offered a fulfilling Kyoto-style meal. Even though we used it for a group reservation, it seems that the inn can be stayed at for less than 10,000 yen based on online searches. After experiencing the wonderful cuisine, atmosphere, and warm hospitality of the staff, I immediately wanted to stay at this inn during my next business trip to Kyoto. Not only for work, but also for sightseeing in Kyoto, this inn provides a perfect opportunity to experience the essence of Kyoto. Despite being labeled as a "guesthouse," it is indeed a splendid "ryokan"!
