I visited the restaurant right after it opened on Saturday. Many people were enjoying breakfast alone, and about half of the seats were filled. I ordered pancakes and a Samburg as a souvenir. Despite ordering a lot, the wait time was about 10 minutes. The pancakes were classic and delicious. They had a standard sweetness, a crispy exterior, and a fluffy texture that made them satisfyingly thick. I couldn't help but say "this is it!" as I slowly poured syrup over them. When I ordered a drink, it came with milk-flavored ice cream. I ate it in a hurry, but it would have been delicious to savor it slowly with the ice cream. I wasn't sure if I could finish it all, so I turned the Samburg into a souvenir. But I couldn't resist and ended up eating half of it. It had ham, lettuce, and mayonnaise sandwiched between two slices of bread, and the salty flavor complemented the sweetness of the pancakes. It was also nice that it was warm and freshly baked. It's just the right amount for breakfast. I had the rest after it cooled down, and it was still moist and fluffy. It had a different kind of deliciousness compared to when it was freshly made, and it even seemed like the sweetness stood out more. I definitely want to visit again.

This cafe, which has been selected as one of the top 100 shops, is located about a 5-minute walk from Kinshicho Station North Exit. It is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and public holidays, so it is only open on weekdays. It was not crowded right after opening, and the service was prompt. The iced coffee had a typical cafe taste, and the atmosphere was very nice. The only downside was that they only accept cash payments.

Ordered a sandwich-style pancake burger from the Barge series, called the Sunburger, which includes ham and vegetables. Not sure what "sun" refers to exactly. If it's tuna, it would be a Tuna-burger, right? The pancake part is fluffy and not too sweet, but thick enough to be considered a pancake rather than a regular cake. Surprisingly, the sweet cake part goes well with the ham and vegetable dressing. It's unexpected, and I can see how this could become a specialty. I thought the portion might be small, but the pancake itself is quite substantial, so it fills you up decently. The ice cream after the meal was a nice touch. The coffee is a blend with a balanced acidity and bitterness that would likely appeal to everyone. Next time, I might try the properly sweet pancake.

Around 4:00 pm, I took a break and ordered an iced coffee (580 yen) and homemade hotcakes (710 yen). The interior of the restaurant had three tables for four people each and around five counter seats. The food menu photos on the wall were nice. They promptly refilled my water when it ran out, which was appreciated. The iced coffee was refreshing and slightly bitter. The hotcakes had a crispy surface and a moist interior, which was delicious. They were thick, two pieces, and very filling. There was a note on the wall saying that if you order a drink and food, you get a complimentary ice cream. It was a simple vanilla ice cream, which was good. I was satisfied. Next time, I want to try the menu with hotcakes sandwiched with ham or something similar.

A cafe located within a 5-minute walk from the north exit of JR Kinshicho Station. This cafe was also selected as one of the best cafes in 2022. The exterior exudes a nostalgic atmosphere of a long-established cafe. I visited for the first time on a Saturday afternoon (after 2 pm) and was seated promptly, perhaps due to the rainy weather that day. Items ordered: - Hotcakes: 710 yen (tax included) - Opted for the most classic version among various pancake options. The fluffy pancakes with butter and maple syrup were absolutely delicious. - Pizza-style toast: 830 yen (tax included) - Thick and fluffy slices of bread - Tastes even better with Tabasco sauce drizzled on top. - Iced coffee: 430 yen (tax included) - Refreshing and easy to drink. Other points: - Customers who order a drink and a hotcake menu receive a complimentary homemade ice cream. - There are 5/6 counter seats and 4 table seats (for 2 people each). I also noticed hot dogs and ham roast sandwiches on the menu, so I would like to visit again to try them out!

After eating tonkatsu at Rakutenchi, I wanted dessert and opted for a simple hotcake! It was fluffy and very delicious, and I was happy that I could pour on as much syrup as I liked! I also ordered something like a cafe latte, which paired perfectly with the hotcake! The cafe is small and not really the type for chatting, so I think it's better for solo customers. I'll definitely go back when I have some free time.

I have passed by this shop many times but never had the chance to visit because it's closed on Sundays, Mondays, and holidays, and only open until 5 PM on other days, which is difficult for working people. However, I was craving something sweet recently, so I finally decided to visit. I went on a Saturday around 2 PM, hoping it wouldn't be too crowded. This time, I ordered the house blend coffee and the famous hotcakes with whipped cream. The total came to 1310 yen. I was a bit worried if I could finish two pancakes, but with butter, maple syrup, and whipped cream, I finished them in no time. The hotcakes were fluffy and delicious. The coffee had a rich flavor that I liked. They also have a variety of drinks, so I would like to try them next time. Even though it was a holiday, there were many solo customers, including a tough-looking old man enjoying his hotcakes alone, which was heartwarming. The small kitchen surrounded by the counter was like the "castle" of the shop owner. The limited seating made customers politely give up their seats to others, creating a lovely atmosphere. Thank you for the heartwarming hotcakes!

The pancake pancakes have a slightly sweet flavor like egg bolo, and you can choose toppings such as whipped cream, custard, or yogurt. They also have rice pancakes and pancake sandwiches, which look delicious. They also offer pizza toast, which I would like to try next time.

Today, I visited Tommy, who has been selected as one of the top 100 cafes in 2022, for breakfast. I ordered the following: Homemade Hotcakes for 710 yen (including tax) and Iced Coffee for 580 yen. The hotcakes were thick and voluminous, served with butter and syrup on the side. They were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, giving a nostalgic feel. The flavor of the butter complemented the hotcakes well. (I wanted to ask for more butter) I had a satisfying breakfast. Thank you for the meal.

Established in 1974, this long-standing coffee shop exudes a charming atmosphere with an elderly gentleman standing at the storefront and a relaxed pace inside. Their famous dish is the hotcakes, and they offer a variety of coffee blends as well as straight coffee brewed using a siphon. A mini-sized ice cream is served as a complimentary treat after your meal.

"Tomii" is a cafe located near the north exit of Kinshicho Station, listed as one of the top 100 restaurants in the food log cafe division for 2022. The hotcakes cooked on an iron griddle are famous at this place. The exterior and interior of the shop give off a nostalgic atmosphere as if you have traveled back to the Showa era. I tried their homemade plain hotcake for 710 yen and an iced coffee for 580 yen. The hotcake had a crispy exterior and a moist interior, with a simple and gentle taste that feels familiar. This place has a mysterious charm, and I hope these kinds of cafes will remain for a long time. It was delicious. In Kinshicho, it can be hard to find a cozy café to relax on weekends. However, Tomii is a hidden gem with a retro Showa-era vibe. Their hotcakes are a must-try, especially the classic plain ones without cream. They may not look perfect, but they taste delicious! Surprisingly, their iced coffee is also great, with a mild flavor that even non-coffee lovers might enjoy. Just be prepared for the unexpected surprise of ice at the end!

On July 1, 2023 (Saturday), I had an ice coffee for ¥580 (tax included) and homemade hotcakes for ¥710 (tax included). The fluffy two-layered pancakes come with butter and syrup. The syrup is not too sweet, so spreading a lot of butter on them is just right. As a dessert service, if you order a drink and snacks (excluding toast), we will offer complimentary ice cream.

The atmosphere was like a traditional coffee shop, and it was nice. I ordered today's mocha coffee and pancakes. The pancakes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, very delicious. I was lucky to get in without waiting in line, but by the time I left, there was a small line forming.

A popular downtown cafe known for its homemade pancakes. Entered at 3:00 pm on Thursday. (One other group of customers present) 90-minute time limit. Items ordered: - Blend coffee ¥550 - Homemade pancakes ¥710 Coffee: Light to medium roast, refreshing taste. Pancakes: Slightly sweet, not too overwhelming. Enjoyable with just butter and honey, doesn't get boring even towards the end. Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. The two pancakes were filling enough. The ice cream after the meal was a nice touch. Located on a quiet street slightly away from the bustling city center, offering a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Thank you for the meal.

A retro café in Kinshicho known for its signature dish, hotcakes cooked on a copper plate. They offer a variety of hotcakes, from simple ones with butter toppings to more creative options like tuna, chicken, cheese, and custard cream sandwiched between hotcake "buns". The homemade hotcakes are crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, with a touch of creativity in each dish. The café is located a 5-minute walk from Kinshicho Station and is always crowded, so be prepared to wait. I ordered the hotcakes for ¥710 and a lemon squash for ¥690. The hotcakes were constantly being made fresh, and despite the small size of the café, it was always full. The hotcakes were crispy on the outside, yet retained the natural wheat flavor inside. The syrup was thin and lightly sweet, complementing the hotcakes well. The lemon squash was a refreshing choice on a hot day. Overall, a popular spot for delicious hotcakes with a homemade touch.

I visited Tomii, a famous smoking shop in Tokyo Kinshicho, before watching the sumo match on Sunday. It was past 2 o'clock and I was worried it might be full, but luckily there were seats available. I enjoyed a cup of blended coffee and ice cream, which is also known for being delicious. The ice cream at this long-established smoking shop is served in a large portion. It has a milky taste and goes well with the coffee. It's a beloved smoking shop in the city. I was truly delighted. Thank you for the meal.

The shop is run by an elderly owner and what seems to be his daughter, exuding a nostalgic Showa era atmosphere. Initially, I was seated at the counter, but later moved to a table that became available. - Samburger ¥800 (tax included): A sandwich with ham and lettuce sandwiched between pancakes. It is held together with a toothpick to prevent it from falling apart. Mayonnaise is already spread inside, and it comes with a table salt, so be careful as it pours out easily. The pancakes are slightly sweet, warm, thick, and delicious on their own, but turning them into a sandwich brings out a different kind of deliciousness. The idea of using pancakes as a side dish is fantastic. - Blend coffee ¥550 (same): Medium-dark roasted and refreshing. It lacks richness, so it's better to drink it black. Adding milk makes it milder and even more enjoyable. A mini ice cream is served as a post-meal treat. There is no discount for combining a drink with a meal, perhaps that's why. By the way, every 11th of the month is a service day where coffee is discounted. There was a notice posted in an inconspicuous place at the entrance.
