It opened in September 2019, right near Kawaramachi Station, but time flew by and it's already been four years since then. The menu includes hearty burgers, side dishes like fries, onion rings, and salad. You can customize with toppings or enjoy a set with a drink or alcohol. On this day, I had the classic Y's Burger set. The burger comes with a cute flag with the logo stuck in it. The signature menu item is a standard yet classic burger with cheese, patty, tomato, lettuce, and onion sauce sandwiched between buns. The buns are delicious, and it's a hearty burger from a popular Kyoto shop specializing in hamburgers.

We used it as a family. It is located near Shijo Kawaramachi, so I wondered if it would be crowded at lunchtime, but it is facing a narrow alley called Hanayu Koji, so we were able to enter (sit down) smoothly. We ordered Ys Burger, Teriyaki, Cream Cheese Wagyu Yakiniku, and Simple Cheese (without cheese). The set menu includes a choice of potato or salad, with a drink included. The Simple Cheese was for my daughter, so I asked for it without cheese. The Cream Cheese Wagyu Yakiniku had a strong taste of Wagyu beef, and I couldn't taste the patty at all. However, the seasoning of the Wagyu beef matched the buns reasonably well. Since the Cream Cheese Wagyu Yakiniku was described as a "specialty" on the menu, I couldn't help but order it, but I think it would have been better to go for a simpler hamburger to taste the buns more. It's not easy to use a restaurant that takes a long time to enter when you have a young daughter, so in that sense, this restaurant is easy to use (although it may have been empty this time). I would like to try a simpler hamburger, so I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

The combination of cream cheese, yakiniku, and hamburger was unique but very satisfying! There were many other delicious-looking burgers, so I would like to try them as well.

On April 2nd (Saturday) around 8:00 pm, I visited the restaurant with a friend to enjoy the night cherry blossoms in full bloom. Unfortunately, the other restaurant we planned to eat at was fully booked, so we ended up here at Grill Demi. I had visited this place once before and the food was delicious, so I was curious to try their take on burgers. I chose the most classic Y's Burger, which was quite substantial! I don't often eat such hearty burgers, so I was a bit surprised. However, the burger was neatly held together with a flag on a bamboo skewer in the middle, so it was easy to eat without falling apart. The balance of textures between the buns, burger patty, and other fillings was great, and I enjoyed it very much. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

I have been to Grill Demi before and have fond memories of their delicious stew. While the name includes Grill Demi, this place specializes in burgers, so it's best to think of it as a separate entity. There are more gourmet burger restaurants in Kyoto now, each with its own unique features.

I happened to find Grill Demi Wise Burger on Hanayu Koji, about a 5-minute walk from Hankyu Kawaramachi Station, so I visited for the first time! I placed my order and paid on the first floor, then waited about 10 minutes at a table on the second floor for the cheeseburger set I ordered! The prices were reasonable, the portions were good, and the staff were friendly. Even during weekday lunchtime, I was able to enjoy my meal at a leisurely pace. It was a shame that it was a non-smoking establishment.

I ordered a hamburg steak with cheese on top and an omelette rice with a Vichyssoise to drink at a hamburger specialty restaurant. The omelette rice was more delicious than the hamburg steak itself. The omelette was cooked fluffy with the rice mixed in demi-glace sauce, and I think there was cheese inside the rice. It came with a salad and macaroni salad, making it quite a satisfying meal. The Vichyssoise was also delicious.

You have to try the hamburger made by Grill Demi, the serious hamburger shop. The juicy patty with rich demi-glace sauce and tartar sauce, gooey cheese, bacon, it feels quite rich, but the fresh tomato and crispy lettuce perfectly match and make it incredibly delicious. My daughter also kept saying how delicious the cheeseburger was while eating. I really love these fries too. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Grill Demi, famous for its delicious demi-glace sauce, has opened its second store! This restaurant specializes in hamburgers, omurice, and hayashi rice. I ordered the Quattro Cheese Burger and the Arabiki Ragout Omurice. The hamburger with demi-glace sauce was delicious, and the Quattro Cheese Burger was a must-try! The potato wedges were also great with a generous portion. The Omurice was rich and flavorful with a nice touch of cheddar cheese.

If you go down Hanayu-koji shopping street from Shijo-dori, you'll find "Grill Demi Wise Burger" on Shinkyogoku Street. It's actually a bit confusing because it's on a narrow street. It's affiliated with "Grill Demi," a hamburger shop in Marutamachi. They have a system where you order and pay at the counter on the first floor, then wait on the second floor. If you go during off-peak hours, you might have the place to yourself - lucky me! The interior is stylish and trendy. I ordered the Wise Burger Combo for 1180 yen. It's a signature burger with the shop's name on it. The buns have a cute "Y" shaped potato on top. The lettuce is crisp, and the finely chopped onions underneath add a nice crunch. The patty is juicy with a great texture from the onions. The original demi sauce has a strong presence. The gooey cheddar cheese is rich and flavorful, and the bacon adds a nice punch. The buns are soft and chewy, soaking up the meat juices perfectly. The burger is delicious, but I was surprised by how tasty the side of potatoes was. I chose the Cheese Tan Stew Burger from the extensive menu, which comes with potatoes and a choice of drink for 1580 yen. I used 1500 yen worth of GoToEat tickets. The burger includes beef patty, cheese, onions, and lettuce, topped with the original demi-glace sauce from Grill Demi. It's a luxurious experience to taste both the stew and patty at the same time. The height of the burger requires you to remove the tomato first, then take a big bite while slightly squishing it. The stew is tender, and the patty is juicy, truly living up to Grill Demi's reputation for delicious hamburgers. The potatoes had a nice potato-like texture, but I couldn't finish them all, so I had the leftovers packed to go. I chose the most popular Wise Burger ^-^ There are hamburgers with grilled meat in them, as well as sweet red bean paste? and other sweet burgers, so I had a hard time deciding. The second floor of the shop has a dining area where you can freely put ketchup on your burger, which is nice. The melon soda is delicious, and you can also charge your phone, so it's great.

I chose the cheeseburger. I realized how important the buns are. I thought the buns here looked firm and not thick, but when I ate them, they were surprisingly soft and fluffy! The meat juice and buns really came together and were so delicious.

Despite its inconspicuous location, this burger joint is a hidden gem. I look forward to trying the Wise Burger with bacon, cheese, and original demiglace sauce next time.
