When searching for a guesthouse ranking in the Kumiham area, the top-ranked guesthouse Kazuko may not have a fancy or formal name, but it has incredibly high ratings. Many reviews mention that the crab dishes are outstanding, especially the crab tempura which is said to be exceptionally delicious. After reading numerous reviews, I decided to try the top-tier course where you can eat plenty of crab, and it was a big hit! The landlady mentioned that during the summer season, they use frozen snow crab, which is delicious whether eaten raw as sashimi, in a hot pot, grilled, or as tempura. At the age of 50, I can confidently say that it was the most delicious crab dish I have ever had. The tempura was beyond words, and the amount of crab in the top-tier course was satisfying. The broth for the hot pot was also exceptionally delicious. The frozen technology that allows for delicious consumption of crab in the summer season is also impressive. In conclusion, guesthouse Kazuko is truly amazing!

Every year, I rely on the lunch crab plan when the crab season comes around. The price has been gradually increasing each year, which is a bit disappointing, but the amount of crab you get is worth it! You can eat as much as you want in your favorite way, so I highly recommend it. Crab shabu-shabu, grilled crab, crab tempura, crab sashimi, I enjoy everything evenly. The crab tempura is especially delicious. I'm not usually a fan of tempura, but Kazuko's tempura is just amazing! Before I know it, I end up eating about half of it as tempura. The finishing crab porridge is also incredibly delicious, and I always end up feeling very full. Looking forward to visiting again this year!

I visited for the first time last March and came back again this year. The atmosphere inside the inn is very relaxing, perfect even for solo travelers. The baths are spacious and very relaxing. Now, let's talk about the main attraction - the crab dishes are amazing. From grilled abalone to grilled crab and boat platters, everything was delicious. My favorite was the crab tempura, where they used all the crab meat for tempura. It was sweet and melted in my mouth. And the whole boiled crab was very satisfying to eat. And let's not forget about the crab miso at the end, it was so good I couldn't get enough. The chef, the hostess, and the staff were all very kind and friendly. Even the children were full of energy. I definitely want to come back next year.

During the winter season, the crab dishes at the small inn "Kazuko" in Kumihama are exquisite. I first went there in March 2010 with some friends and was impressed by the luxurious crab dishes that we couldn't finish. I ended up going back twice in the next season (November 2010 & January 2011)! I uploaded many photos, but we couldn't finish all the food, so we took a whole crab with us. We had crab hot pot for dinner, but couldn't finish the porridge... so we had it for breakfast the next morning. It was so delicious. Everything is fresh and very tasty, but I especially love the crab sashimi, it's sweet and melts in your mouth. The grilled abalone is soft and has a good texture, very delicious! The raw sazae is crunchy. Even dipping grilled crab in crab miso is super tasty. The crab tempura and three types of oysters (vinegared, fried, grilled) were also delicious. Everything is so fresh, so whatever you eat is really delicious. The inn itself is small but seems newly renovated, clean and tidy. The landlady (Kazuko) is friendly and very nice. I definitely want to go back next season.
