Today, I visited Kiraku Shokudo in Kyo Kitaku Shimoyama-cho, which I had been curious about after seeing tokariko's review. It seems like a local diner where locals gather. I entered as soon as they opened. I decided on the Pork Ginger Grilled Set Meal (800 yen including tax) before my visit. Payment is cash only. After ordering, I waited a while and then received my meal. The pork ginger grilled dish had a generous portion of meat and the meat was quite thick. The grilling was done well, and the taste was delicious with plenty of ginger flavor and aroma. The miso soup also had a good bonito flavor and was very tasty. The service was warm and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I really enjoyed my meal. I'm interested in trying the oyster fry, maybe during the winter season, so I would like to come back again. I recommend this place for lunch at a roadside station. The prices are reasonable and the taste is good.

Our team visited a restaurant in Kyo-hoku for work. This restaurant is a must-visit when in Kyo-hoku, run by a lovely couple. The food tastes just like home-cooked meals. The portions are quite generous, so I shared about half of my meal with my team members. Thank you for the delicious meal!
