While exploring for some saramechi, I found this place a bit far from the main road. It was a bit confusing to find as it was tucked away from the main road. Although the restaurant was supposed to open at 11:30 AM according to Tabelog, it seems they are now open from 12:00 PM. The place seemed to be run by a middle-aged man, who seemed a bit surprised when customers came in for lunch. It seems that there are many Korean customers at night, as they offer various Korean dishes. The interior of the restaurant felt more like a large dining room in a house rather than a typical restaurant. I ordered the Sundubu set meal for 800 yen. It took about 20 minutes for the food to be served, which was a bit slow for lunchtime. The Sundubu soup came in a large bowl with plenty of soup and ingredients such as clams, tofu, and meat. The spiciness was not as strong as it looked, but it was delicious. The kimchi seemed to be more sour, especially the cabbage kimchi. The radish kimchi was more standard in taste. Overall, the quality was good, but it was surprising that there were not many customers. Perhaps the issue lies with the speed of service. I also had to rush back just in time.

I've been curious about this restaurant recently, so I went there for lunch on Saturday, but it was closed. I went back for revenge on Thursday. It was good, not crowded at all. There is a sign in front of the store that shows the lunch menu options. We visited as a group of five, and the staff were working hard. There are only table seats available. Inside the store, you can also purchase Korean food items. The lunch options include Sundubu jjigae, Seolleongtang, Yukgaejang, etc. I ordered the Sundubu jjigae with extra rice. After about 15 minutes, it arrived in a big bowl with a raw egg on top. The soup was piping hot, rich, and delicious. The clams added a nice touch. It's spicy, so be careful if you're not a fan of spicy food.
