There is a takoyaki shop in Gion that is open until late at night. They offer a variety of flavors including sauce, negi salt, and pizza, each costing 900 yen. It is a convenient place for people to visit after a night of drinking or after work. The food was delicious, thank you for the meal!

My friend suggested going to a delicious takoyaki restaurant in Nagoya, and we ended up at Hideshoko. Today, we decided to try something different and had takoyaki with broth, which was filled with plenty of ingredients and tasted amazing. The regular takoyaki was also excellent at Hideshoko. It seems they are open until morning now!

There are indeed many interesting people in Gion. The master there is famous for always remembering you once you visit. I had a great time listening to the master's funny stories while enjoying takoyaki and sake. And somehow, a stylish dandy at the counter treated me to a drink, making me even more impressed by the fun of Gion. It was a late night to remember.

I was able to eat hot and crispy takoyaki. There were many menu options to choose from, but I ordered with sauce, yuzu pepper, and sweet miso. They were all delicious. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again!

At a club in Gion, I had already finished eating but decided to try their recommended takoyaki for delivery. 8 pieces for ¥600. The takoyaki was quite large and round. The place offers a variety of sauces like soy sauce, ponzu, curry, demi-glace, and wasabi. I tried three different sauces and enjoyed the well-cooked takoyaki. It was quite filling, perfect for enjoying with drinks.

Recently, the takoyaki I had was too hard and burnt... Maybe the oil was bad? It just didn't agree with me. But the takoyaki I had recently looked different, so I decided to try a bite. It was actually delicious! Not oily, not burnt, not rock hard! The octopus seemed bigger too. I don't remember the last time I had it, but this takoyaki was really tasty!

I have used their takeout service before. This time I ordered two boats with the chef's choice of salt sauce and demi-glace sauce. The first time I tried their food, it tasted really good right away, but this time it was just okay. It reminded me of Tsukiji Gin-dako, but it was far from being crispy and tender. Maybe it's just a one-off thing, or maybe it's because the food had been sitting for a while. As with anything, freshly made is always the best. It's possible that some dishes taste better as they sit, but there are exceptions. It's disappointing that the quality wasn't as good this time, especially since the first time was excellent. I wonder if there is a technical issue or if they are still experimenting with their recipes. Either way, I hope they keep trying. Next time, I want to eat at the counter. Bye.

Actually... I don't know where the shop is located! When I was drinking in the Gion district, I ordered delivery... (・д・)ノ That's when I met Hidetaco! Personally, I wouldn't say it's super delicious, but it's not bad either. It's unique in a way☆ It's a bit hard, maybe it's overcooked, or maybe that's just how it is...( TДT)I might not order it normally, but it could be good when you're at a bar☆

I eat takoyaki only about 2-3 times a year. While in Kyoto, I decided to try the highly acclaimed takoyaki from "Shu Takoyaki". It was said to have a crispy exterior and a creamy interior, similar to the popular "Gindaco" style. I bought the classic takoyaki with sauce and green onions, took it back to my accommodation, and tried it immediately. However, the interior was not creamy at all. The texture was more chewy or doughy, rather than creamy, and the batter seemed to be well cooked. It reminded me of the takoyaki I had at a festival long ago. The accommodation was just a few minutes' walk from the store, so the takoyaki was still warm, but not piping hot. The store also had a reputation for inconsistent taste, and unfortunately, that seemed to be the case that day. I ended up picking out the octopus and using it as a snack with beer. This happened at the end of April 2013. Two months later, at the end of June, I decided to give it another try. (Again, for takeout). The takoyaki was still chewy, and I ended up just eating the octopus again. I won't be trying it a third time.

When I go out drinking in Gion or Kiyamachi, I sometimes order delivery from this place. The takoyaki is seasoned well with dashi, so it's delicious even without any toppings. It's not super crispy on the outside, but it's close to the classic takoyaki style with a crispy exterior and a soft interior. They offer a wide variety of sauces, including curry and demi-glace, which are quite unique. Personally, I prefer the classic sweet and savory sauce or eating it with dashi broth.

I am from the Kanto region, but I feel like the takoyaki in Kansai is smaller. However, the takoyaki at Shu Takoyaki is big, with a creamy inside and a crispy outside, and it tastes delicious! I have a sensitive tongue, so I find it difficult to eat, but it seems like the flavor doubles when you take it home and reheat it before eating. I hesitate a bit to go alone because of the atmosphere of the restaurant, and the location is a bit hard to find, but once you sit at the counter, the staff and other customers create a warm atmosphere where you can easily chat with them.

After a flashy party ended and we continued drinking in a hotel room, we noticed red wine stains standing out on the white carpet. When it was time to disperse, we felt like having some ramen. As we were walking, we stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. Without high expectations, we ordered some sours to go along with it. The waiter brought out freshly baked ramen. It was crispy, chewy, and hot! Delicious. We were told that they can deliver anywhere nearby, which is convenient for late-night post-drinking cravings. It was a much-appreciated find at the end of the night.

At Kyoto Gion, there is a place called Shu Tako on Hanami Koji. I had it delivered when I went drinking at a club. I eat it often, but sometimes it's crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, which is delicious, but other times it's not so tasty when it's soggy inside and out. It costs 600 yen for 8 pieces due to its location, so I really want it to be delicious. Since I'm spending 600 yen on takoyaki, I hope they can cook it consistently.

I ordered delivery because it was delicious last time. This time, I ordered salt and plum flavors. The salt flavor was too salty and made me very thirsty. The plum flavor, on the other hand, was just right and refreshing. The texture was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and even though it was delivered, it was still hot and delicious. However, I was disappointed that the taste seemed to be different each time I ordered.

After drinking, my friend and I went to this place around 4 in the morning. It's great that they are open until past 5 am. We had quite a bit to drink before going, but the outside was crispy while the inside was soft and it was really delicious. The takoyaki here is a bit pricey for takoyaki, but it's really tasty. They also offer delivery within the Gion area, so next time we could have it delivered to where we are drinking. The shop is just a counter outside the building, not inside, so it might be cold in winter, but it could actually be a good match for takoyaki.

I used to only get takeout from this place. When I was a student in Kyoto, I relied on this shop many times. They also deliver to bars. Perfect for when you're feeling peckish after work! As others have mentioned, the outside is crispy, the inside is chewy and gooey - the octopus balls here are amazing in every way, from the aroma to the texture, the harmony of sauce and mayonnaise. I've tried octopus balls from many places, but this one is hands down my favorite. I think back then it was made by a slim, macho guy with a beard called "Hide-kun." Was he the owner? Since leaving Kansai, I haven't found octopus balls as delicious as the ones from Gindaco. Especially after returning to Oita, where there are few octopus ball shops... Even when I do find one occasionally, they're not up to par and definitely not worth paying for. At 600 yen for 8 pieces, the value for money isn't great, so I deducted half a star in my overall rating, but when it comes to taste alone, I am completely satisfied and highly recommend this place. Oh, now I'm craving it again.

They specialize in takoyaki that is cooked twice, giving it a crispy exterior and a soft, delicious interior. You can order them without sauce for 800 yen each, or with one sauce for 700 yen for 8 pieces, with an additional 100 yen for two sauces. It is a casual counter-seat only restaurant that also offers delivery. They offer a variety of toppings and seasonings for the takoyaki, all of which are delicious. I personally always order them plain or with dipping sauce. They ask if you want toppings like green onions and inquire about your sauce preference. The takoyaki is served in its best freshly cooked state, which is truly amazing.
