I needed a last-minute whole cake, so I called ahead and stopped by to pick it up. About 3 hours later, we had it at a birthday party. We could only get a size 4 cake, which turned out to be a bit dry and crumbly, with cracked cream. It seemed like it had been sitting for a few days. We also bought a single slice of roll cake, which was delicious in comparison.

I have been eating various sweets for nearly 40 years. There is a famous local cake shop (at the time, I thought it was just an ordinary local cake shop) in my area, but I don't remember it that well. (It may be due to my memory) But in my life, the sweets from here are delicious! The other day, I had their Duckworth, and their truffle chocolate is especially delicious (*^^*) Not only the sweetness, but the texture is exquisite ☆☆☆ It seems to be used as a gift often. I would be happy to receive this as a gift. Thank you for the meal!

When I go out to stations along the Hibiya Line, I always make a reservation call to the shop in advance and get off at Ningyocho Station to buy Mont Blanc at this shop. I have been going there for about 20 years. I buy Mont Blanc at various shops, but the Mont Blanc at Tokyo Western Confectionery Club is the most delicious‼️

It was a very historic shop. I have lived in Tokyo for many years, but I only recently discovered this shop. It's called Kinza and it's different from what you find in department store basements. The cream inside has chestnuts, not too sweet, and the dacquoise is fluffy. It was delicious. Unfortunately, they no longer have a cafe, which is a shame. Thank you for the meal.

I've always been curious about this restaurant nearby that has high ratings. The place is known for their Mont Blanc, so when a friend brought me here, I decided to buy some. Here's my review:
- Atmosphere: The place offers both takeout and dine-in options. The seating area inside is cozy and inviting.
- Order: Mont Blanc, cake
- Taste: The Mont Blanc wasn't overly sweet, and you could really taste the chestnut flavor. It had a traditional taste with a unique texture that I found delicious.
- Overall impression: With my days filled with drinking, it's nice to indulge in sweets like this once in a while.

I had been curious about Tokyo Western Confectionery Club's Mont Blanc for a while. When I went around 3 pm on a weekday, almost all the cakes other than Mont Blanc were sold out, so I ended up buying just the Mont Blanc. The base of the Mont Blanc is not a hard tart crust or a crunchy meringue, but a soft sponge with a gentle egg flavor. This makes it easy to enjoy the chestnut paste. It's no wonder this cake has such a good reputation! The fact that they used sponge as the base gives it a touch of Japanese kindness, similar to a strawberry shortcake.

There is a Western-style confectionery shop located about three minutes from Hamacho Station on the Toei Shinjuku Line. I came to Hamacho to eat tonkatsu, but I stumbled upon this shop on my way there and decided to stop by on my way back. The eat-in service is currently suspended. They have a variety of delicious cakes and baked goods on display. The Mont Blanc cake, in particular, caught my eye with its unique shape, but since I was not going straight home, I only purchased the apple pie. The apple pie cost 450 yen and had a perfect-sized apple inside, which was delicious. There was something else besides the apple that added a nice touch (I'm not sure what it was). Thank you for the meal.

My husband loves the Mont Blanc here, so we visited after a long time. We went after 2 pm and there were fewer items available. The Mont Blanc and Hamacho Cheese Mont Blanc were both delicious. The prices have gone up by about 20 yen since last time, but I appreciate their efforts during these tough times. The Mont Blanc here is rich and delicious, with a baked-like texture. I will visit again when I am nearby.

I realized I forgot to buy a souvenir, so I stopped by this place on the way. I remember buying something here a long time ago and it was safe and delicious. However, when I was paying, I noticed pamphlets from the "Ethics Research Institute" at the entrance. I wish I hadn't noticed. The "Ethics Research Institute" is a general corporation, not a religious one, but... If you don't know about it, please look it up. The rice flour roll I bought for myself was indeed safe and delicious, but it met the criteria of "places I have decided not to go to" in my mind, so I don't think I will be going there again.

This shop was located near my company and I had wanted to visit for a long time. I don't usually buy cakes, but I love to purchase individually packaged cookies and other sweets to enjoy with coffee. The most impressive thing was the very polite customer service. The feeling of truly welcoming customers came across, and I had a very pleasant time. Of course, the Western sweets were delicious too. I definitely want to visit again!

I visited around lunchtime on a holiday. I was looking for Mont Blanc. It has quite an impact in appearance, haha. When I actually tried it, the outer cream coating was a bit firm. I prefer Mont Blanc to be fluffy. Personally, it wasn't to my liking. Next time, I'll buy a regular Mont Blanc. m(_ _)m

The Mont Blanc here is made with a smooth and sweet chestnut paste, a mildly sweet and creamy filling, all on a moist and flavorful sponge cake base. I had been curious about it for a while and finally visited. The Mont Blanc, displayed alongside other cakes, looked impressive with its triangular shape and generous cream. I bought one and enjoyed it at home. The cream was plentiful but not too sweet, complementing the sponge and chestnut paste well. The chestnut paste was smooth, reminiscent of Gifu's chestnut sweets. It's a well-balanced Mont Blanc that I recommend for those who enjoy cream-filled cakes. It's great that you can get Mont Blanc even in March. I also want to try other cakes and baked goods here next time. Thank you for the delicious treat.

The chestnut cream in the Mont Blanc had a strong taste of liqueur. Despite being priced at 660 yen, the generous portion was satisfying. The cream inside was light and easy to eat compared to the chestnut cream. This one is said to be the most popular item.

I visited here in Hamacho. The red domed roof at the storefront is impressive. JPOP music plays inside the store. I had a "Vanilla Cookie" for takeout. The cookie is moist but surprisingly crumbles easily.

I visited the "Tokyo Western Confectionery Club" located along the street in front of Hisamatsu Police Station. The interior of the shop has a high ceiling with stylish stained glass-like decorations at the top. This time, I tried their popular No.1 "Mont Blanc" and No.2 "Apple Pie". The Mont Blanc was moist and had a distinct difference from the fluffy Mont Blancs that are common nowadays. The homemade custard blended with cream was not overly sweet, and the outer layer was made of chestnut paste, white bean paste, and white chocolate, wrapped around a light and fluffy roll cake base. It had a nice balance of sweetness that would appeal to Japanese tastes. The Apple Pie was filled with tightly packed apples and an almond powder filling instead of the usual custard in the pie crust, which was meticulously done. Both desserts had a traditional Japanese confectionery taste, which set them apart from other shops. The seating area at the back seemed to be temporarily closed.

After an early dinner, my friend gave me a souvenir saying, "The Mont Blanc here is delicious, you have to try it." The name of the place, Tokyo Western Confectionery Club? What's up with that? We joked about it, but when I finally tried it the next day, it wasn't too sweet and had a good balance with the cream inside. I liked it. The classic name of the shop and the modern taste had a nice contrast. I would like to try a different cake next time.

Located in the bustling Nihonbashi area, which is one of the business hubs in Japan, this place is a lively town filled with tourists. We focus on creating a space for relaxation and tranquility by paying attention to interior design and tableware. The interior features large windows with stained glass, casting a gentle light over the brown-themed space. We believe that enjoying delicious cakes while spending quality time in a carefully designed environment is important. Surround yourself with elegant interiors and have a peaceful moment in this chic and cozy setting. With around 20 types of fresh cakes available at all times, including classics like Mont Blanc and Strawberry Shortcake, as well as seasonal treats using fresh ingredients. Visit us at Plaza Marm 1F, 1-1-12 Nihonbashi Hamacho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. On weekdays, with no waiting time and no people in line, we ordered the following items: Hamacho Cheese (Souffle) for 250 yen, a moist and flavorful cheese souffle cake in the shape of a koban, and C’est bon Maron for 300 yen, a creation inspired by the French region of Savoie, with a chewy dacquoise base and a rich buttercream mixed with chestnut confit. Additionally, we ordered C’est bon Choco for 300 yen, a delightful treat made with egg-rich buttercream and crushed chestnut confit.

Located near Ningyocho Station, Tokyo Western Confectionery Club is known for its popular Mont Blanc dessert. In addition to the classic Mont Blanc, they offer a variety of other options, including the "Shibukawa Marron." This dessert features candied chestnuts with the skins still on as the topping, a base of dacquoise, a creamy diplomat center, and a generous layer of chestnut cream on the outside. The size is almost double that of a regular dessert, making it a truly indulgent treat that will leave you feeling satisfied with just the chestnut portion alone. It's a Mont Blanc that is truly a taste of happiness.

There is a classic Mont Blanc with a thin string covered in cream, as well as a Mont Blanc in the shape of a pouch. Both have a similar sweetness in the chestnut paste, but the different shapes give them unique textures and mouthfeel. While other cakes may be slightly on the sweeter side, they are not overly sweet and can be enjoyed easily, with three pieces being easily devoured at once.

Tokyo Western Confectionery Club @ Hamacho
A long-standing Western confectionery shop loved in Hamacho. When I went to buy in the evening, the famous Mont Blanc and others were sold out. I bought chocolate cake, cheesecake, and apple pie. They were all simple cakes that made me feel the history of traditional sweets. I would like to try the famous ones someday. #Takeout #Cake #WesternConfectionery #TokyoWesternConfectioneryClub #Sweets
