I arrived at the restaurant at 8:00 AM, expecting to already see a line forming, but there were already about 8 people waiting in line. I had to leave a deposit of 1,000 yen per person and received a tip for 3:00. I arrived on time and was seated right away. I had decided to order the popular bacon and egg pancake and also the seasonal peach pancake. The bacon and egg pancake was delicious with crispy bacon on top of egg-flavored pancakes and hollandaise mayo. The peach pancake was very sweet with a hint of spiciness, using fresh peaches and spicy pancakes, creating a delightful taste and a good aftertaste.

I have been here before and this is my second visit. There are a lot of foreign tourists, so the line is quite long. I went in the morning to get a ticket and visited. The pancakes are delicious, but they are not exactly like fluffy souffle pancakes. They are more like traditional pancakes. This is my second visit, but I don't think it's worth waiting in line for so long to come here again.

I saw it on Instagram and it looked so delicious! I lined up at 8 am the next morning and got a ticket for 11:45! I ordered bacon and egg pancakes with a latte. Surprisingly, it came out in less than 5 minutes. (I missed the part where they cut the egg...) The pancakes had fried eggs, honey, bacon, marmalade, jam, and hollandaise sauce on top, which gave it a variety of flavors. They also had black pepper and maple syrup on the side, so I could enjoy different tastes. Although it was a bit pricey, the pancakes were a delicious mix of sweet and savory flavors.

I went in the early morning around 8:20, but there was a super long line. I was able to make a reservation for a seat around 3 pm. I ordered the famous sunny-side-up eggs and bacon pancakes, as well as the limited-time caramel nut pancakes topped with honey and butter. They were incredibly fluffy and light, so even though I wasn't very hungry due to the heat, I devoured them. It was tough to wait in line, but it was definitely worth it!

I used this place for lunch this time. I was unsure of what to order, but I ended up ordering the citrus fruit custard sauce. The shop opens at 10:00, but they start taking reservations at 8:30 at the storefront. You choose your preferred time slot based on availability, pay 1,000 yen per person as a prepayment, and receive a time-specific ticket. You pay for the prepayment when you check out. The citrus fruit custard sauce costs 2,100 yen. It's a fluffy pancake made with rice flour and brown sugar, topped with a generous amount of yellow citrus fruit custard cream, whipped cream on top, and pink grapefruit on the side. It has a light and delicious citrus flavor with just the right amount of sweetness. The shop has a clean and inviting atmosphere. It seems to cater to a lot of foreign customers, so it may be geared towards inbound tourists. The staff's customer service was also polite. It's a pancake shop near Tsukuba Express Asakusa Station.

"Benizuru" is a popular pancake specialty store in Asakusa that has been featured multiple times on TV. They start distributing tickets from 8:30 in the morning to determine entry time, and today there were about 20 people in line at 8:30, with the shortest wait being until 10:30 to enter. The interior of the store has only a counter, and the staff consists of women only. You can watch the pancakes being made right in front of you, which adds to the live experience. I had the seasonal peach and yogurt pancake for 2400 yen along with an iced coffee. You can also choose from various toppings. The fluffy and thick pancakes are made with rice flour instead of wheat flour, so they look big but are not heavy. The peach used in the pancake is juicy and goes really well with the yogurt and pancakes. However, there is no drink set and it costs extra money, and the pancakes themselves are delicious but expensive. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. #Benizuru #Pancake #AsakusaGourmet #Sweets #TokyoSweets #AsakusaSweets #WantToConnectWithGourmetLovers #GourmetInstagram #GourmetMemo #WantToConnectWithGourmets #FoodPornGram #FoodPornographer #EatStar #EatStagrammer #FoodPornism #GourmetTravel #DeliciousIsHappiness #LookingForGourmetFriends #GourmetClub #FoodieGirls #FoodieBoys #WantToConnectWithGourmets #KantoGourmet #FoodReportGram #GourmetReport #GourmetWriter #FoodWriter #BGradeGourmetInformation"

The restaurant is popular among foreigners as well. I wonder if it is being advertised on the internet? The staff in front of the restaurant kindly explained everything. The system is well organized, so there are no overflowing lines or bad manners in front of the restaurant. I think these things are important for a famous restaurant.

I had always wanted to visit this restaurant that I had seen on Instagram. I thought it would be empty since it was a weekday, but when I arrived 30 minutes after opening, all the reservations were already filled until noon. So, I made a reservation for 12:45 and went to explore Asakusa in the meantime. When I arrived at the restaurant, it was full of foreign customers! I realized how popular this place really is. I tried the bacon & egg pancakes, my main target! It was actually my first time trying savory pancakes, and it was a delightful experience. Inside, there was honey and marmalade, creating a sweet and salty taste. It was incredibly delicious! The bacon was crispy, and the egg was runny, it was the best. I shared a sweet pancake with someone because having the same flavor might get boring. Although I didn't try it this time, the pancakes with fruits on top looked luxurious and tasty! I will definitely visit again when I go to Asakusa. Thank you for the meal!

After craving it for a while, I went to make a reservation around 11 am on the weekend, and the earliest available time was 14:45. I decided to try the salted caramel almond topping that I had been curious about. The fluffy souffle pancake was as delicious as ever, and the salted caramel almond was just as tasty as I had imagined.

I was so impressed that I ended up taking multiple photos even though they all looked the same. I lined up from 8:30 in the morning and finally got the chance to dine in at 11:30. The pancakes I met were ideal with a perfect thickness and appearance. I ordered the classic honey and butter pancakes with an extra side of whipped cream. The simplicity allowed me to fully appreciate the potential of the pancakes themselves. The butter on top of the freshly baked pancakes was so thick that it didn't melt away easily, which was much appreciated. Despite the pancakes being thick, they were fluffy and light, making them easy to eat quickly. However, eating too fast can lead to heartburn later on, so it's important to be cautious. Nevertheless, the pancakes were so delicious that I couldn't help but devour them quickly without looking away from the plate. It was such a happy and satisfying experience. I hope more people get to experience it, but I understand that lining up early in the morning and making reservations can be challenging. It would be great if there was a system in place, like online reservations, to make it easier for people from afar to visit.

On a certain Saturday in June at 8:30 am, I thought I would line up early to get a ticket, but to my surprise, there was already a long line! I underestimated the situation because it was raining, but I quickly joined the back of the line. When it was my turn, the available times were 12:45 pm and the 2 pm slot, so I chose the earlier time at 12:30 pm. It had been a few years since I last visited, and I was once again amazed by the popularity of the place. On this day, I went with three friends and we each ordered plain, toppings, chocolate, etc. The souffle pancakes were as fluffy and thick as ever, but I noticed that they were slightly burnt this time, which was a bit concerning. The pineapple juice was delicious and fresh. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I visited here in front of Asakusa Ichibancho bus stop. I made a reservation for 9:30 on a weekday, and they said the fastest I could be served was 11:15, so I reserved and paid 1000 yen in advance. More than half of the other customers had foreign names. I revisited the store 5 minutes before. It was served about 25 minutes after being seated. The pancakes were fluffy.

Hmm, I would say it was a bit too bold in flavor. Honestly, the combination of chocolate, banana, and nuts was overwhelming. The second half was quite tough. The Daifuku with large red beans that my companion ordered also left me puzzled when they grated the matcha right in front of us. It seemed like the place was catered more towards tourists, as there were only foreigners there.

Honey and Butter ¥1600 + ¥ Salted Caramel Almond ¥500 The fluffy and soft dough is not too sweet and melts in your mouth. It's perfect for sharing, but you could easily eat one all by yourself! This is delicious. The salted caramel almond is quite sweet with a rich cream, salted caramel sauce, and sliced almonds. The cream is not too sweet and very milky, with a strong milk flavor. The salted caramel sauce is very sweet, almost too sweet, leaving you feeling full. The sliced almonds are crispy and delicious. The almonds and cream are tasty, so it's worth adding, but ¥500 is a bit expensive. Highly recommended for those with a sweet tooth. I recommend spreading butter on the dough, adding a pinch of salt and pepper, and enjoying it. I arrived at 10:12 on a Wednesday and got a seat for 12:15. By the time I finished eating, there were still seats available for 13:30! On weekdays, you might not have to arrive too early to get a seat.

I went to the popular pancake shop, Benizuru, that I had been eyeing for a while in preparation for the annual festival. I got there at 8:30 in the morning to get a ticket, and luckily managed to secure one around number 40. I made a reservation for 14:15, so I had a lot of time to kill before going back. When I finally tried their bacon and egg pancake and honey pancake, my impression was... well, it was delicious. The pancakes were fluffy and not too sweet, melting in my mouth. If I could have them for breakfast, I would give them a 4.0 rating, but considering the hassle of getting a ticket early in the morning and having to make a reservation, I would rate it a 3.8. Overall, these were the most delicious pancakes I've ever had. ❤️

Arrived at 8:20 on a rainy Sunday morning to find a long line already formed. The earliest reservation available was for 11:15, but since there were only two of us, we managed to get in. The person in line ahead of us, a group of four, was told the earliest reservation they could get was for 12:45. It was quite a fierce competition. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation time and went straight into the restaurant without waiting. Ordered honey butter and sunny-side-up egg bacon pancakes. Both were three-layered pancakes with a substantial thickness, but they were as fluffy as soufflés, so they were easy to eat. The honey butter was simple yet delicious. The pancakes themselves were so tasty that I think it's better to just enjoy them as they are without adding anything else. The sunny-side-up egg bacon had a sauce similar to the one on eggs benedict, and it was delicious. The perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness. At first, I thought the portion might not be enough, but by the last three bites, I felt satisfied. However, I still felt hungry after getting home. The deliciousness that makes it worth the wait, but in terms of how filling it is, the cost-effectiveness may be a bit lacking.

Around 11 AM, I made a reservation at the store (with a 2000 deposit) and visited at 4 PM. I ordered honey & butter pancakes with custard sauce and vanilla ice cream on top. My companion had chocolate nut sauce pancakes with grilled bananas and vanilla ice cream. The pancakes were fluffy, but I didn't like the sauce and the batter. I wished the batter had more browning or a bit more sweetness. The sauce (custard) needed more punch. These are just my personal preferences.

Honey and butter were so delicious that I would rate it 5 stars. This was my third visit to the restaurant. I tried all four signature pancakes, and for first-time visitors, I highly recommend the Honey and Butter pancake at Kurenai Tsuru!! The pancake itself is excellent, being the fluffiest and most delicious of the four. It's simple yet incredibly tasty, with a good balance of texture and cake-like feel. This time, I added the daily fruit (which was strawberries) and whipped cream as toppings. As someone mentioned in a review, having fruit makes it refreshing and prevents you from getting tired of the taste. The whipped cream was light and complemented the pancake well. On the other hand, the custard version seemed to diminish the goodness of the pancake. The custard was at room temperature, so it felt cold compared to the warm pancake. Also, the pancake being covered with custard added weight and took away from its fluffiness. There's a significant difference between the two versions. If you're going to wait in line and get a ticket, I still recommend the two points mentioned in the title. P.S. The cafe latte was delicious.

On a regular Monday at 9:00 AM, I arrived at Asakusa Station and walked quickly to the restaurant, which took about 10 minutes. I was alone, but I got the earliest seating at 13:15. I thought the wait was quite long, but since I came all the way to Asakusa for this, I decided to wait. Around 13:05, I looked at the menu outside the restaurant while waiting, and at 13:20, I entered the restaurant. Inside, I could see them cooking and plating the food up close. This time, I ordered chocolate and seared banana pancakes. I had a seat right in front of the hot plate, so I could watch them cook. After about 5-10 minutes, the pancakes arrived. They were huge, but fluffy. Before I knew it, I had only a few bites left. The last three bites were a bit tough, but overall, it was delicious. Next time, I want to try something savory! Depending on where you sit, you may not be able to see the cooking and plating process well. The people next to me were taking photos of all the dishes being prepared. Next time, I'll try to arrive a bit earlier!
