As the end of the year approaches, things get busier, so tonight we had an early year-end party at Uofuji. We toasted with Kaizumi Tsuru warmed sake and Kubota chilled sake. The sashimi platter and dashi-maki platter were both fresh and delicious. The grilled Anago from Densuke was incredibly tasty! We also tried the Kaki fry and the Tuna rare cutlet that we've been wanting to try. The hot and large oysters with homemade tartar sauce were perfect with white rice. We wanted to order more rice, but we were already full, so we had to resist. We tried a Niigata sake called "Takachiyo" that we've never had before, and it was delicious! It was sweet and very easy to drink, perfect for us who are not strong drinkers. Uofuji was packed even on a weekday, and we think it's because the food is delicious, but also because the hostess pays close attention to the customers. She is friendly and observant, similar to the lady at Maeda Coffee. We couldn't eat all the dishes we wanted to, so we'll have to save them for next time. We walked back home, which took about 15 minutes, and the cool breeze felt refreshing on our warm, intoxicated bodies. It's such a luxury to have a delicious restaurant within walking distance from home.

I usually go to the hair salon in Higashi-Mukojima, and this was the first time I thought about having lunch nearby. I searched for a good place and found this one, so I decided to try it out. Luckily, I was able to get a seat without a reservation and had a very fresh and delicious seafood bowl. I felt lucky that the restaurant I happened to visit was so delicious, and I couldn't help but think that I was on a winning streak today. I usually don't like eating alone at restaurants and rarely do it, but the warm atmosphere of the staff and the delicious food got me so absorbed that I was able to enjoy a solo lunch. I might stop by again next time I come to the hair salon. Maybe I'll try the sushi next time.

I had some errands around this area and was looking for lunch afterwards. This place seemed popular, so I decided to visit. It was my first time here, and I arrived before opening hours. I hesitated to line up first, so I wandered around the neighborhood for a bit. When I came back, there were already about 6 people in line... I missed my chance. When the store opened, there were a few more people behind me, but they had reservations... I just made it in time to get a seat. It might be a good idea to make a reservation. Many people around me were ordering sushi set meals, but I decided to go for the Fujimi Gozen, which is a bit more expensive but comes with a variety of fish. The appetizers came first. It's nice that they offer alcohol for those who want it. The main sashimi dish was all high-quality fish, as you can tell just by looking at it. I particularly enjoyed the mackerel sashimi, which had just the right amount of fattiness. Next time, I might try the sushi set meal. Thank you for the delicious meal.

"Uogokochi Uofuji" in Kyoto Mukaihigashi is a great value seafood bowl restaurant! Although the portions may not look huge at first glance, every piece of fish is delicious! This is my fourth visit, but I couldn't get in twice due to COVID-19 restrictions and fully booked reservations. As soon as the store opens, it fills up quickly. I'm glad I made a reservation in advance! Seafood bowl set for 1,100 yen. You can choose whether the rice is served warm or in a separate dish. I chose to have it served together. The seafood bowl comes with two side dishes and miso soup. Every piece of fish was incredibly delicious! The fish was laid on top of shiso leaves to keep it cool. I opted for an extra serving of rice because it was so tasty. The miso soup also had white fish in it! So delicious and satisfying! Looking at the menu, I found a set for 330 yen that includes rice, side dishes, and miso soup. You can also add a side dish for dinner. The variety of options for the evening side dish was impressive! I tried the fresh shirasu bowl next time. On December 30th (Wednesday), I visited alone on the last day of the year. They seem to be closed until the 5th of January. Yesterday, I called around 11 o'clock and it was full, so I'm giving it another try today. I've been coming here every time I visit my hometown for the past 3 years, but it seems like the ratings on Tabelog have dropped quite a bit since I last visited. So, I decided to write a review after a long time. Usually, I order grilled fish, sashimi, and the daily recommendation, but today I opted for the assorted sushi plate (tax included 1100 yen) since I was alone and not very hungry. It arrived in about 15 minutes. The scallop was delicious with a nice texture and incredibly rich flavor. It was really fresh. The striped jack was so fatty that I almost couldn't believe it was jack. It was thickly sliced, had a great bite, and was very tasty. The red shrimp was rich and had a nice firmness. It was extra-large in size and definitely on the expensive side. I was very satisfied. The squid had an amazing chewy texture and a refreshing taste. The tuna was tender, no fishy taste, and the red meat just melts in your mouth. Delicious. The raw octopus had a chewiness that was almost too much to handle. It tasted incredibly fresh. The olive yellowtail was caught in Shodoshima and apparently fed olives, resulting in a rich and surprisingly tender taste. It had a clean aftertaste and although the flavor was intense, it didn't linger. Simply delicious. The salmon looked delicious from the start, but it exceeded my expectations. It had a sharp deliciousness, and trying different types of salmon, this one was just satisfying. The lineup is cost-effective, and you can easily spend over 2000 yen. I was told they source fresh fish from the market daily, which explains why it's so delicious.

Located in a place far from the sea like Higashi-Mukojima, this restaurant offers freshness that is unmatched. With their unique sourcing routes, you can enjoy seafood with outstanding freshness from various regions. The drink selection is also extensive. The owner is wonderful. Overall, there is nothing to complain about.

I had some errands in Hinata City and searched on Tabelog for a place to eat. It was my first time visiting and even though it was a weekday afternoon, the place was packed! Luckily, there was one seat available so I didn't have to wait. I ordered the "Fish Fuji Set Meal," which is basically a sashimi set meal. Compared to other places, this set had a wide variety of sashimi and it was delicious! It also came with two side dishes, making it a great value for the price. If this restaurant was near my house, I would go there every day! The evening menu also looked delicious!

Luckily, my former boss who had retired from the company I work for made a reservation just in case, so we were able to be seated. When I looked at the menu and quickly placed my order, the owner suggested ordering sashimi as they specialize in fresh fish. I felt a bit embarrassed for not reading the situation correctly. The sashimi was indeed delicious! The variety of dishes and drinks was great, and I wanted to eat more, but I was already full. The tuna cutlet was tender with a crispy coating, a perfect combination of textures. The miso soup had actual pieces of fish in it, which was quite luxurious. The color of the tuna cutlet was also beautiful. While the portion size wasn't huge, the quality made up for it. I am curious to try their seafood bowl next time. Overall, a great dining experience.

You can enjoy shrimp, tuna, fatty tuna, yellowtail, sea bream, bonito, and more with salt, sauce, or soy sauce. You can also get seconds of rice, miso soup, and two side dishes, which were also delicious. The restaurant has table and counter seating. It's a popular local spot and gets crowded during meal times. Reservations are possible. I would like to try grilled fish, simmered fish, and sushi next time. The restaurant is located between Hankyu Railway Kyoto Line Higashi-Muko Station and JR Mukomachi Station.

I visited for the first time and had the tuna cutlet set. You can get a refill of rice. It was quite delicious. It cost 1,080 yen. Next time, I want to try the seafood bowl (same price).
