Strolling around Shijo Omiya with friends for dinner. Came across a large izakaya that seemed like a big chain restaurant at first glance. Was seated and noticed many older men reading newspapers around. Had low expectations. But then, the menu was designed like a newspaper, offering Kyushu cuisine with mackerel sashimi as a recommended dish. We didn't order it due to a friend's dislike for mackerel. Ordered various dishes and were served two types of mentaiko as appetizers. The grilled squid and squid tempura were exceptional, especially with the sauce made from squid innards. Everyone was impressed. Despite drinking and eating a lot, the bill was only a little over 2,000 yen per person. Impressed by the taste and affordability. Highly recommend this great restaurant.

Located a 2-minute walk from Hankyu Omiya Station, our restaurant does not have parking. We offer specialty dishes from various regions in Kyushu. I visited on a weekend evening with a reservation, and while private rooms were not available, tables and counter seats seemed fine without a reservation. The exterior has a typical izakaya look. Inside, you can see the specialty mackerel swimming. The restaurant is quite spacious and has a calm atmosphere. I ordered the specialty half portion of fresh Buzen mackerel sashimi, Hakata skin skewers, and Hakata teppanyaki dumplings. For drinks, I requested the well-known fruity and smooth Sakura Genshu Honnama from Yamagata Prefecture's Dewazakura Sake Brewery. The appetizer was a trio of spicy mentaiko, which was also good. The mackerel was fresh and fatty, the skin skewers were decent, and the teppanyaki dumplings were delicious with well-packed minced meat. Lastly, I had fried rice and the dessert Catalana. Overall, the restaurant is above a casual izakaya but below a high-end Japanese restaurant. It's a convenient place to dine, and I look forward to trying different dishes next time.

I suddenly wanted to eat yakitori, and the sign in front of the restaurant had a delicious-looking yakitori skin. The restaurant was quite spacious, but there were only about 3 groups of customers around 6:00 pm. Unfortunately, the skin skewers I was looking for were sold out. The dumplings were also on the menu, so I ordered them, but they were overcooked and black. The fried chicken cartilage was also black. The taste was neither good nor bad. The golden fried rice was disappointing, with the rice being soggy and only having eggs and green onions as toppings. Overall, it was a disappointing restaurant, but it might be a good place for a lively atmosphere like a typical izakaya.

I was invited by the name of the Netchu-ya and went. The inside of the store was spacious and nice. The fish dishes were excellent, especially the mackerel. I ordered a sashimi assortment, Kumamoto's spicy lotus root, and mentaiko potato salad. The downside was that the cigarette smoke and smell were strong. It was disappointing that it soaked into my hair and clothes.

An izakaya that promotes Kyushu (especially Hakata). I didn't have high expectations when I entered, thinking it would be a typical izakaya, but the iron pot gyoza was surprisingly delicious. The taste was average, but I was happy to see three different types of mentaiko as a side dish. The prices are not high overall, but not cheap either. It's a good enough place for regular use. The variety of alcohol is common, but there are many options, so if it's nearby, I would use it often. Thank you. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant is somewhat lonely, so those who like a lively atmosphere may not like it very much.

Shortly after opening, the atmosphere was calm, but soon customers started arriving. I ordered a lemon sour, teppan gyoza, spicy lotus root, deep-fried smelt, and fried rice, totaling 3440 yen including tax. I enjoyed my meal slowly while watching YouTube. The specialty of the restaurant, called Kyushu Netchu-ya, was said to be mackerel and gyoza, but I particularly liked the simple egg fried rice.

Being in Kyoto, there are many foreign tourists sitting on both sides of the counter. The menu is designed like a newspaper, adding a playful touch. It was quite a large izakaya, more than it seemed from the outside. Tonight we had a big party with many people. We didn't order a set course, just made a reservation based on the number of people and time. We chose the all-you-can-drink option. It seemed like a good deal, especially since there were some non-alcohol drinkers in the group. Well, everyone sure drinks a lot (laughs). The Kyushu-style sake snacks were plentiful and delicious. We ate and drank a lot, and it came out to about 4000 yen per person.

Ordering takes a really long time from when you place your order until the food comes out. After ordering on the tablet, you're left waiting for about 15 minutes, and then all the food you ordered comes out at once, overflowing the table. It's quite a disappointing service. I'm always amazed at how things turn out like this every time.

I went there for the first time. It's a bit on the pricier side for an izakaya, but they have a live fish tank and you can enjoy fresh and Kyushu specialties, which was nice! I wish it was a bit more reasonably priced though.

I arrived at the restaurant around 7:00 PM. I thought I had made a reservation online, but they said they didn't have it, which made me anxious. However, there were empty seats available so I sat down. They served a variety of Kyushu dishes, with the sashimi and gyoza being particularly delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lively and pleasant.

Great value for money and delicious taste.
