On the way back from Miyama Kayabuki no Sato, I stopped by because it caught my attention! I had my dog with me, so I bought sandwiches and sausages to go. The store also had a parking lot! The sandwich with juicy bacon was delicious and filling. The bread was also tasty!

This is my second visit. Last time, I had dessert after a meal, but this time I went for lunch. I had the sausage plate, which includes 5 types of sausages and brown rice bread. The homemade sausages, free of chemical seasonings, were delicious and safe to eat. Each sausage had a strong spice flavor and they were all tasty. My favorite was the spicy one. For dessert, I had an iced cafe au lait, which was also delicious! Besides dining, they also sell various products. Some people come here to buy sausages, coffee, curry, seasonings, etc. When I'm in Miyama again, I definitely want to visit this place! My partner rates it 3.2 out of 5.

It's been a while since I came back to my hometown and visited Miyama. I was looking forward to buying sausages. No matter when I come, the place is always full of customers!!! I didn't have time, so I had to settle for takeout only. Next time, I want to drink coffee and eat chiffon cake❣️

It was a cold day, but I warmed up with a wood stove and pot-au-feu. There were a few customers, but we didn't have to wait long to be served. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, and the staff were friendly. Inside, they also sell sausages and other specialty foods, making shopping enjoyable.

After leaving the restaurant "Restaurant Ashiu" and heading towards "Kayabuki no Sato", we decided to make hot dogs for breakfast on the second day of camping! We visited the "Miyama Omoroshi Nokumin Kurabu" to buy ingredients for our breakfast. We purchased the following item for our breakfast:
- Frankfurter Sausage (refrigerated) 599 yen (tax included)
We bought the refrigerated version as we planned to use it the next morning. We cooked the sausages carefully in a skillet inside the tent due to the rain. We buttered and toasted the hot dog buns, added some salt and pepper to shredded cabbage, and sandwiched the perfectly cooked Frankfurter sausages. We topped it with ketchup and mustard, and it was delicious! The sausages had a firm texture and were full of meaty flavor. Even though we intended to make bacon and eggs as well, we ended up being too full after eating two hot dogs each. The sausages were so delicious that even the bread tasted great. The staff mentioned that the refrigerated sausages have a shelf life of 10 days including the purchase date, while the frozen ones last until the expiration date on the package. Overall, the sausages were of high quality and we had a great breakfast despite the rainy morning during our first camping experience.

I visited the cafe near the thatched roof village in the northern part of Miyama-cho. I had never been to the cafe before, although I had visited the shop several times. The interior of the cafe was made of solid cedar, and I enjoyed a sandwich made with the owner's proud bacon and free-range chicken eggs. The bacon was really delicious.

The homemade sausages and ham are excellent. It's great to be able to buy refrigerated items for takeout, but having them cooked in the restaurant is recommended. It's best to visit during winter when the stove is lit inside. Although it may not be easily accessible, I sometimes make the trip to Miyama just to visit this restaurant. I will definitely go again.

On the way to Miyama Kayabuki no Sato, I was drawn to a ham and sausage sign and stopped by the shop. Most of the sausages were frozen, but I had ham and smoked chicken made that day for dinner. The smoked chicken had a hint of sansho pepper flavor and was slightly firm, providing a satisfying chew. The ham also had a good texture, with the flavor spreading in the mouth with each bite, rather than being juicy. It had a stronger umami taste compared to other award-winning products, and was not too greasy, which older people would appreciate. Miyama is far away, but I would go back for this ham. The fact that all the hams and sausages are additive-free is also a plus.

This is a grocery store that specializes in natural products located in Miyama. The store has a log cabin-style interior, with the left side at the entrance dedicated to selling products, and the right side serving as a café space. On the left side, there is a variety of Miyama's additive-free charcuterie such as ham and sausages lined up. I bought a few items as souvenirs, and they all looked delicious, making it hard to choose. As I took a break, I decided to indulge in some sweets at the café space. The café offers treats such as chiffon cakes and roll cakes made with Miyama milk, soft-serve ice cream, and simple light meals like sandwiches made with ham and sausages. They all looked so appetizing. Blueberry soft-serve (¥480) made with good milk and simple ingredients was surprisingly delicious with a refreshing aftertaste. The Royal Milk Tea (¥560) was very comforting and warming. It's worth stopping by this place when visiting Miyama.

I visited a shop specializing in additive-free, handmade ham and sausages. First, I took a break and decided to eat. I ordered a hot dog - I chose the venison one. I was worried about any gamey taste, but it was fine! I was satisfied with it for ¥480. I also bought some sausages as souvenirs to take home. They are all made with care and without additives. They all looked delicious - sausages, ham, bacon. How about buying them as souvenirs?

I visited a handmade ham factory during my sightseeing trip to Miyama. I was attracted by the sign of the factory and decided to drop by. I ordered a bacon sandwich and a frankfurter. The bacon was flavorful and paired well with the rye bread. The side salad was also fresh and delicious. The frankfurter was made of deer meat and had a unique spicy taste. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was charming, and despite the hot weather that day, Miyama was breezy and comfortable.

During the Forest Kyoto Game Fair, I had a deer meat sausage hot dog (¥490 including tax, Frankfurt is ¥330). The homemade sausage and bread matched well and I enjoyed eating it quickly. I also had a matcha latte. It's perfect for when you're a little hungry!

I stopped by here on my way back from enjoying ayu fishing in beautiful Myama in the summer. They have a workshop where they make handmade ham and sausages, which are sold in the store, along with a cafe. The store is made of Myama cedar, giving it a rustic feel. I tried a platter of 5 different sausages and iced tea, all of which were delicious with no off flavors, allowing me to enjoy the taste of the meat. I also bought bacon and free-range eggs from Myama and made bacon and eggs the next day, which was incredibly delicious with a nice aroma from the sizzling fat. I immediately repurchased through online shopping. I would love to stop by again when I visit Myama in the future.

I went for a drive to Miyama. I planned to have soba for lunch in Miyama, and as I was about to reach my destination, I saw a sign that said "Sausages". I slowed down my car to make sure I didn't miss the place, and there it was! A handmade ham and sausage shop. They had a variety of options for purchase, but I decided to try some first and then buy my favorites. I sat down and ordered a platter of 7 types of ham and sausages. It included frankfurter, ground meat, minuma greens, venison, black pepper sausage, and two types of ham with manzairaku chili pepper and broccoli. They were all delicious, but my favorites were the black pepper sausage and the broccoli ham. The broccoli ham changes daily depending on the vegetable of the day. They also had other products like yuba sausage that cannot be eaten in the store. You can buy them online, but I recommend trying them at this lodge-style shop while enjoying the greenery outside. Also, don't miss out on the Miyama milk soft serve ice cream. It was incredibly delicious with a rich milk flavor. When you visit Miyama, make sure to stop by this place!

Yes, about 15 years ago, when summer came, I used to stay at Kawashika-so in Miyama for 3-4 years in a row. The roads weren't as convenient as they are now. There was also a place around here where you could ride horses, and I remember riding a horse. When I visited two years ago after a long time, I passed by the handmade sausage shop that I had always been curious about. I never had the chance to stop by because my destination was always ahead. But this time, I made a point to try the sausages! They were delicious! Much tastier than the ones from Ooo Farm.

Personally, I love Miyama-cho in Nantan City. It is a beautiful place all year round. It was my first visit with my family in a long time. This shop is located close to the Kayabuki Village and offers handmade ham and sausages made with local ingredients and no additives. This time, I tried the deer hot dog and deer frankfurter. They were both delicious with no gamey taste, very flavorful. They also have light meals and dessert menus. The bright wooden interior, cozy wood stove, delicious food, and the friendly smiles of the staff all make for a delightful experience. The shop is also wheelchair accessible, so even small children can enjoy it. I will definitely visit again!

I visited a handmade sausage shop in Kyoto during my trip. The shop also has a café and a store. The lodge-style interior is cute. I ordered a pot-au-feu with a platter of 5 types of sausages and a roll cake at the café. The pot-au-feu was hearty and satisfying with lots of ingredients, including game meat. The platter of 5 sausages had distinct flavors that made me crave for beer. They were so delicious that I forgot to take a picture before eating them all, sorry for being a foodie! I also tried a blueberry roll cake, which had an elegant taste. I highly recommend this place to sausage lovers!
