A delightful souvenir that will make the recipient happy, with no expiration date until the next day. In a dimly lit place, it may be mistaken for conger eel. The owner said to steam, grill, and press it. Personally, I prefer the warm, soft hand-pressed version. In the counter's tank, there are fresh prawns for salt-grilling or sushi.

I went to the restaurant for entertaining an acquaintance. They serve a variety of dishes, although it's a sushi restaurant, you can also order other types of food. It felt like locals were there. We ordered a sashimi platter with beef tataki, and simmered sea bream head, but the taste was a bit disappointing. The simmered sea bream head was also a bit spicy.

Located on the east side, south of the intersection of Maruta-cho and Sai-dori (one block west of Nishioji-dori). The nearest station is JR Enmachi Station. The master is cheerful, talkative, and the sushi restaurant is bustling with local customers. It's often crowded on weekends, so we call ahead to reserve a seat. In addition to the counter and table seats on the south side of the restaurant, there are spacious tatami seats on the north side where larger groups can be accommodated. Although it is a sushi restaurant, they also offer a variety of seasonal dishes that go well with drinks. In addition to sashimi, dishes like grilled sea bream and deep-fried blowfish are also delicious.

I had mackerel sushi. The mackerel was not too sweet, thickly sliced, and had just the right amount of fat. It was incredibly delicious.

From the intersection of Enmachi, head west on the first street, Kasuga Street. If you go south from there, you will see a sign that says "Grandchild" in black letters on a white background. The inside of the restaurant mostly consists of regular customers. It's a small place with a counter and three private rooms for four people each. Since there are no prices listed, it's a bit intimidating, but this time I was treated, so I feel at ease. According to the person who brought me here, the prices are not that high. Well, I don't think they would set exorbitant prices in this location. The most delicious dish I had was the simmered sea bream head. It was sweet, savory, and had a great texture. The flavors had penetrated the flesh of the sea bream well, and I could easily eat two to three bowls of rice with it. Another dish I really liked was the grilled conger eel sushi. The conger eel was thick and tender, grilled to perfection, and lightly seasoned with sauce. This is the kind of sushi you can only get at a good sushi restaurant. The owner of this restaurant is very entertaining to talk to. He seems to enjoy chatting with customers, which makes it easy to get drawn into conversation. If you're looking for a fun dining experience with enjoyable conversations, this place is recommended.
