Kyoto is in Maizuru City, Hama. On the north side of Higashi-Maizuru Station. On the southwest corner of Yajo Street and Yajima Street, there was a restaurant here. I was on a business trip to Maizuru and was wandering around the city trying to decide where to have dinner. However, due to the current situation, there were few restaurants open. Even the ones that were open were refraining from serving alcohol. Feeling like I needed to make a decision soon, I ended up at this restaurant. Although they were also not serving alcohol, I felt comfortable in this nostalgic Showa-era yakiniku restaurant. The couple who owned the restaurant were very friendly. I wanted to start with a beer, but I resisted and ordered oolong tea instead. I had a large bowl of rice with premium tongue, premium skirt steak, kalbi, and kimchi. The meat was high quality and the sauce was delicious. I plan to visit here again next year around the same time, and next time I want to enjoy yakiniku with plenty of beer.

The nearest station is about 20 minutes from Higashi-Maizuru Station. It is located inside an old-fashioned arcade. One unique feature is that it goes against the trend of the times, allowing smoking. Is this acceptable in rural areas? The dishes I received were: 1) Cabbage with salt dressing - The salt dressing is exquisitely delicious. It can be eaten raw like a salad, but it is also delicious when occasionally grilled. 2) Garlic chives kimchi - It seems to be a seasonal dish, but it was a big hit this time. It's a mysterious garlic chives, very delicious. It's the first time I've eaten something so delicious. 3) Salted beef tongue - It's an old-fashioned salted beef tongue. They cut it thickly and it's delicious. It's amazing when eaten with lemon. 4) Upper ribs - Of course, you can choose between salt and sauce, but I chose salt. If you can get such high-quality upper ribs, there's nothing to complain about. In the era of the Wuhan virus, you can only sit at a table with no one else. Since smoking is allowed and the food is delicious, it's better to quit. It would be better to add smoking booths.
