I visited OMO3 Kyoto Toji using the nationwide travel support, aiming to conquer all 15 facilities of Hoshino Resorts' OMO series. OMO is a city sightseeing hotel brand that aims to elevate the excitement of travel beyond just sleeping. OMO3 Kyoto Toji is a budget-friendly hotel located 1.2km south of Kyoto Station. The room was clean and simple, typical of a business hotel. I enjoyed exploring Toji Temple nearby and meeting a friend at Nishi Honganji Temple before heading to Kiyomizu Temple. For dinner, we went to a private room izakaya near Kyoto Station. The next morning, I had a leisurely breakfast at the hotel's Food&Drink Station, where I used a 2000 yen voucher to purchase coffee and a mushroom gratin bread. The hotel is convenient for tourists and business travelers, with a self-service system for purchasing food and drinks. I also bought a collaboration product called "Omonaka" as a souvenir. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I look forward to my next OMO adventure in Okinawa in July.

I stayed using a campaign that included tickets, so I got a good deal on staying at Hoshino Resort. However, since the basic concept is more like a business hotel, the service is just average. There are features like a dry landscape garden and calligraphy writing, and a simple dining area, which are nice, but there were some issues in the room, especially with cleanliness. It felt like they were trying to do too much. I hope to enjoy a proper stay at Hoshino Resort someday.
