On my way back after seeing the autumn leaves at Toji Temple, I was drawn to a sign that said "Katsu Curry" and decided to go in. What came out was a beautiful katsu curry like I had never seen before. The crispy fried vegetables, crunchy breaded cutlet, occasional hints of spices - it was an experience that completely changed my view of traditional katsu curry.
